RESUMO

The construction system's complexity can generate substantial uncertainties during emergencies. Resilience, as a new perspective on emergency response, can significantly mitigate these challenges. This paper introduces an innovative model to assess the resilience of construction emergency response processes utilizing a scaffold collapse scenario as a demonstrative case study. Grounded in resilience engineering, our model integrates the merits of the Functional Resonance Analysis Method (FRAM) with the probabilistic strengths of Bayesian Networks (BNs). The process commences with FRAM, mapping out the emergency response in qualitative terms by identifying functions, variabilities, and couplings. This culminates in a topological network which serves as a foundational structure for the directed Complex Network (CN) and the BN model. Thereafter, the Delphi method and the modified K-shell (MKS) decomposition algorithm guide the computation of prior probabilities for root nodes and the conditional probability table within the BN model. Subsequently, the BN model is subjected to a simulation using the AgenaRisk software, executing both forward and backward propagation as well as sensitivity analyses. Our findings pinpoint "Intersectoral Coordination and Linkage" as the most crucial function, with rapidity being the most sensitive aspect influencing resilience during a scaffold collapse emergency response process.

RESUMO

The existing tower crane positioning layout mainly depends on the experience of construction personnel, and the best tower crane positioning can be found through a large number of manual data calculation. This manual method is time-consuming and impractical. In view of this, aiming at the current situation that building information modeling (BIM) software can only obtain the relative coordinates of components, this article puts forward the key technology of importing computer-aided design (CAD) graphics into geographic information system (GIS) software to automatically obtain the world coordinate information. By clarifying the transfer relationship between the component material supply point, the component initial positioning point, and the tower crane optional positioning point, as well as the cooperative relationship between each positioning point and the tower crane operation, the tower crane positioning optimization model is formed, and the firefly algorithm is used to automatically calculate and generate the best positioning layout method of the tower crane on the project site. In this study, the vertical transportation and positioning of components are studied, and intelligent construction is formed by integrating information technology. It can further enrich the functions of perception, analysis, decision-making, and optimization; realize the decision-making intelligence of industrial buildings; and achieve the organic unity of engineering construction execution system and decision-making command system.

RESUMO

In contemporary "high-risk" society, unexpected disasters (epidemics and extreme weather) and chronic pressures (aging problems) put tremendous pressure on healthcare facilities. Enhancing the healthcare facilities' resilience ability to resist, absorb, and respond to disaster disruptions is urgent. This study presents a scientometric review for healthcare facility resilience research. A total of 374 relevant articles published between 2000 and 2020, collected from Web of Science (WoS) core collection database, Scopus database and MEDLINE database were reviewed and analyzed. The results indicated that research on resilience in healthcare facilities went through three development periods, and the research involved countries or institutions that are relatively scattered. The studies have been focused on the subject categories of engineering, public, environmental, and occupational health. The keywords of "resilience," "hospital," "disaster," "healthcare," and "healthcare facility" had the most frequency. Furthermore, based on the literature co-citation networks and content analysis, the detected seven co-citation clusters were grouped into four knowledge domains: climate change impact, strengthening resilience in response to war and epidemic, resilience assessment of healthcare facility, and the applications of information system. Moreover, the timeline view of literature reflected the evolution of each domain. Finally, a knowledge map for resilience of healthcare facilities was put forward, in which critical research contents, current knowledge gaps, and future research work were discussed. This contribution will promote researchers and practitioners to detect the hot topics, fill the knowledge gaps, and extend the body of research on resilience of healthcare facilities.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To apply the DNA barcoding technology for identification on host animal and to establish the host animal DNA bar code database on natural foci of plague in Shaanxi. METHODS: 139 host animals belonging to 3 orders, 6 families and 12 genera and 62 residues belonging to 7 species from 8 different parts of the province, were detected. DNA barcoding technology was used to analyze the DNA CO I gene sequence on the natural foci of plague in Dingbian county. RESULTS: The intra-specific genetic distance was less than 2% while the inter-specific distance ranged from 8.9% to 15.1%. Fourteen major clusters were apparently showed on a Neighbor-Joining tree. Residue samples could be detected regarding the objective gene. Alashan ground squirrel was previously noticed to carry 14 major clusters, which were previously mistakenly named as Citellus dauricus in Dingbian county. CONCLUSION: DNA barcoding technology could overcome the shortcomings caused by the morphological identification so could be used to identify the host animal and residues in the natural focus of plague.
