RESUMO

The paper aims to develop and validate an internet literacy scale for high school students. The study emphasizes the importance of internet literacy, especially for adolescents who need sufficient internet literacy to gain self-development and live their whole lives in this information age. The study has recruited 744 high school students and provided a validated scale consisting of thirty items in eight dimensions: (1) self-management, (2) self-image construction, (3) damage control, (4) information processing, (5) critical thinking, (6) cooperation, (7) consciousness of morality, and (8) consciousness of security. The current developed scale can reflect the latest, abundant meaning of internet literacy. This study fulfills the need to build up a validated, comprehensive internet literacy scale for adolescents such as high school students. The study also suggests potential applications of the scale in the pedagogical context.

RESUMO

Mosquito densoviruses (MDVs) are mosquito-specific viruses that are recommended as mosquito bio-control agents. The MDV Aedes aegypti densovirus (AeDNV) is a good candidate for controlling mosquitoes. However, the slow activity restricts their widespread use for vector control. In this study, we introduced the Bacillus thuringiensis (Bti) toxin Cry11Aa domain II loop α8 and Cyt1Aa loop ß6-αE peptides into the AeDNV genome to improve its mosquitocidal efficiency; protein expression was confirmed using nanoscale liquid chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (nano LC-MS/MS). Recombinant plasmids were transfected into mosquito C6/36 cell lines, and the expression of specific peptides was detected through RT-PCR. A toxicity bioassay against the first instar Aedes albopictus larvae revealed that the pathogenic activity of recombinant AeDNV was significantly higher and faster than the wild-type (wt) viruses, and mortality increased in a dose-dependent manner. The recombinant viruses were genetically stable and displayed growth phenotype and virus proliferation ability, similar to wild-type AeDNV. Our novel results offer further insights by combining two mosquitocidal pathogens to improve viral toxicity for mosquito control.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To explore the clinical effect of rapid massage at Shuidao (ST 28) to prevent puerpera from postpartum urinary retention. METHODS: A total of 200 puerpera giving birth through vagina were enrolled and divided into an observation group and a control group according to the random number table method, 100 cases in each group. In the observation group, rapid massage at Shuidao (ST 28) was applied. In the control group, there was no intervention and urinated naturally. The traditional Chinese medicine syndrome scale was used to evaluate poor sense of urination, and record puerpera with or without postpartum urinary retention, the poor sense of first urination, the first time of urination, the amount of first urination and postpartum hemorrhage. RESULTS: The poor sense of first urination in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control (P<0.001), the first time of urination in the observation group was significantly earlier than that in the control group (P<0.001), the amount of first urination in the observation group was significantly more than that in the control group (P<0.001), the observation group was superior to the control group to prevent postpartum urinary retention (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: Rapid massage at Shuidao (ST 28) can reduce the poor sense of first urination, significantly advance the time of spontaneous urination, significantly increase the amount of first urination and effectively prevent postpartum urinary retention.

RESUMO

Four impurities were isolated from raw material of clindamycin phosphate (CP), and their structures have been determined. LC-MS was used to determine the molecular weights of the impurities in the raw material of CP. Reversed-phase preparative HPLC was used to prepare them, and their chemical structures were identified by HR-MS and NMR. The four unknown impurities were determined as clindamycin-B-phosphate (1), clindamycin-2,4-diphosphate (2), 3',6'-dehydro clindamycin phosphate (3), epi-clindamycin phosphate (4). Impurity 1 has been included in BP and EP, while 2, 3 and 4 have not. The impurities 2, 3, 4 are first separated from raw material of CP.
