RESUMO

A stable preparation of agaricinic acid nanoparticles was obtained. The mean hydrodynamic size of nanoparticles according to photon correlation spectroscopy was 200 nm and zeta potential was -57 mV. Cytotoxic activity of agaricinic acid nanoparticles against human HepG2 hepatoma cells was evaluated. Nanoparticles with a low concentration of agaricinic acid stimulated and with high concentration - suppressed metabolic activity and viability of hepatoma cells. The EC50 for the stimulating effect was 32.8 µg/ml, and the IC50=602.1 mg/ml. The preparation of agaricinic acid nanoparticles can be used in medicine as a potential antitumor agent.

RESUMO

UNLABELLED: Heart rhythm disorders occupy a leading place in the modern structure of cardiovascular diseases in the children. At present, the role of stress-induced reactions in the development of more than a thousand diseases has been proved. Rehabilitation of systemic manifestations of extrasystolic arrhythmia (EA) in the children is only scarcely described in the literature. AIM: The objective of the present work was to improve the effectiveness of the spa and resort-based treatment of the children presenting with extrasystolic arrhythmia taking advantage of the available information about the different biorhythmic activities of the stress-realizing and stress-limiting systems. MATERIAL AND METHODS: The study included 60 children presenting with EA, who received a standard combination of spa and resort-based therapeutic modalities in conjunction with electro-sleep therapy. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION: The study revealed desynchronization of the endocrine functions in the children with EA that manifests itself as the increased secretion of cortisol and adrenaline, suppressed melatonin and ACTH production, mismatched daytime and nocturnal hormonal levels. The daily bio-rhythmic profile influenced the formation of circadian-type extra systola in the children. The most unfavorable clinical and electrocardiographic patterns were observed in the children with the mixed and night-type arrhythmia. The complex of rehabilitation measures practiced at the Evpatoriya health resort including electro-sleep therapy made it possible to balance the activities of the stress-limiting and stress-implementing systems of the body in the form of normalization of the altered levels of adaptive hormones, ordering of biorhythmical hormonal relationships, and reduction of the number of extrasystoles. The most pronounced effect of the treatment was observed in the group of children with a rare and day-type of arrhythmia to whom electrosleep was prescribed. It is concluded that the significant decrease in the frequency of night-type and mixed-type extrasystoles under effect of electro-sleeptherapy allows to recommend the treatment modality being considered for the correction of this type of heart rhythm disorders.

RESUMO

Among military signalmen on the initial stage of radiotelegraphist's professional activity the group of the persons (34,3%) which are essentially characterized by worse psychophysiological parameters of central nervous system functioning by visual and acoustical analyzers has been selected. The most informative indicator (functional mobility of nervous processes on the acoustical analyzer) for differentiation of these subgroups has been offered. There is established, that the subgroup of the servicemen with the worse parameters of functional organization of organism on the informative and energy levels can be related to "risk" group. The decisive rules have been developed which allow classifying investigated servicemen on "risk" group and group that is suitable for radiotelegraphist's activity.

RESUMO

Psychophysiological peculiarities of the effect of 24-hour shift work on psychophysiological indices of an operator's efficiency have been considered. It is found that significant manifestations of the fatigue have been developed in servicemen-operators as a result of daily shift-work. The informative psychophysiological characteristics, which can be used as reliable indicators of fatigue level, have been distinguished. A hypothesis has been proposed on the availability of several compensatory mechanisms in maintenance of the work capacity in operators in long-term shift work. An integral index of the reliability of operators' activity has been developed, allowing to assess the quality of work, using a wide range of intensities of the proposed signals as well as to receive data on the overall possibilities of an operator to process information at the given level of reliability.

RESUMO

Psychophysiological peculiarities of influence of a 24-hour shift work on the efficiency of operators have been discussed. It was shown that servicemen operators develop significant fatigue as a result of 24 hrs duty services. The informative psychophysiological characteristics which can be reliable indicators of fatigue level are highlighted. Individual psychophysiological indicators of fatigue level, according to different mechanisms of its development, have been proposed. The hypothesis about the existence of several compensatory mechanisms for maintenance of long duty operators' working capacity has been formulated.

RESUMO

The impact of tasks complexity and factors of professional qualities of different groups of tested individuals with different occupational orientation on the outcome of task performance have been analyzed. The precise regularities of intellectual and temporal components of task complexity's components on activity quality have been revealed. The regularities found are proposed to use for assessment of professional suitability level.

RESUMO

The dynamics of consumption of amine and ammonium nitrogen and glucose in the process of Xanthomonas rubrilineans 67 growth and biosynthesis of leucine aminopeptidase was studied. It was shown that the rate of leucine, alanine and glycine consumption as a source of amine nitrogen out of 16 amino acids was the highest during the fermentation. Addition of these three amino acids or their mixtures to the medium at definite stages of the fermentation process increased the leucine aminopeptidase biosynthesis by 50 to 100 per cent. Ammonium nitrogen was not used by X.rubrilineans 67. The consumption of glucose during the fermentation was even: by the 24th hour of the process the medium contained about 10 per cent of the glucose initial concentration. The optimal temperature for the culture growth and leucine aminopeptidase biosynthesis was determined. It was shown to be 28 degrees C. Higher aeration increased the culture productivity.
