RESUMO

Experiments on 50 rabbits examined the hemostatic effects of negative oxygen aeroions (AI). In control experiments, keeping the animals under hypodynamia led to 40% animal death, significant aortic atherosclerosis and myocardial infarction. The animals developed the thrombohemorrhagic syndrome with hypercoagulemia and drastically suppressed blood fibrinolytic activity. Keeping the animals in the excess AI-containing premise saved all rabbits' life and prevented arteriosclerosis and myocardial infarction. Unlike the controls, these animals failed to develop the thrombohemorrhagic syndrome. Clotting time, plasma recalcification time, and plasma silicon and kaolin time did not reduce, but prolonged. There was no drop in the content of antithrombin III or rise in values of paracoagulation tests. It is recommended that Chizhevsky's electroeffluvial chandeliers should be used to prevent hemostatic disorders and arteriosclerosis in hypodynamia.

RESUMO

Fibrinolytic and fibrinase properties of the most of human organs and tissues have been studied. It has been established that fibrinolytic activity of the tissues highly varied. Fibrinolytic agents of the tissues are rather unstable to dilution, in contrast to thromboplastin, that is stable to dilutions as 1:10000 and 1:100000 and higher. All the tissues contain both activators and inhibitors of fibrinolysis. In some of them inhibitors prevail, that proves their antifibrinolytic properties. Tissue fibrinase decreasing fibrinolysis effectiveness, is detected almost in all tissues. The experiments with intravenous injection of extracts from different tissues have demonstrated that regardless of their fibrinolytic activity, the course of hemostasis impairment is of the same type: at the moment of the extract injection fibrinolysis is sharply inhibited, and then intravasal blood coagulation develops under the influence of strong tissue thromboplastin; the phase of hypercoagulemia is changed by that of hypocoagulemia attended by a secondary increase of fibrinolysis. The author believes that when "juices" of different tissues enter the blood flow the impairment of blood coagulation, by the mechanism of thrombohemorrhage syndrome (THS) takes place, and fibrinolysis is secondary-activated and represents a reaction of the second phase of THS.

RESUMO

The investigation of extracts from intact and tumour tissues of the human stomach has revealed that adenocarcinoma tissues possess abnormal antiheparin, antithromboplastin and fibrin-stabilizing activity. Heparin activity, as well as the level of antithrombin III and fibrinogen-heparin complex were sharply reduced. The accumulation of anti-heparin compounds normalizing heparin and displacing the coagulating albumin from the complex with anticoagulant is believed to be one of the most important factors of fibrin production in the tumour.

RESUMO

Studies have been made on coagulating and fibrinolytic activity of muscle tissue from various animals (earthworm, clam, car, frog, pigeon, rat). It was shown that extracts from muscles of these animals contain activators and inhibitors of hemocoagulation and fibrinolysis, exhibiting also antiheparin activity. It is concluded that progressive development of hemostatic function of muscle tissue involves the decrease in anticoagulating activity and the increase of thromboplastic activity.

RESUMO

A hemocoagulation study of patients with stage I-IV stomach tumors revealed hypercoagulemia and inhibited fibrinolysis regarded as a prethrombotic state. The changes were more pronounced in extensive tumor process (stage IV). Some patients showed initial signs of thrombohemorrhagic syndrome.

RESUMO

Experiments on cats were made to study the capability of adrenaline, tropaphen and propranolol of influencing the intensity of the release of hemocoagulating compounds and anticoagulants from the intestinal vessels and tissues to the bloodstream (perfusate). Adrenaline was found to increase the coagulative activity of the perfusate, provoking an enhanced release into it of thromboplastin, an analogue of plasma factor V and antiheparin compounds and suppressing the release of antithromboplastins. The blockade of the alpha-adrenoreceptors was accompanied by a dramatic increase of antithromboplastins to the intestinal perfusate, whereas the depression of the activity of beta-adrenergic structures by reduction of the release of tissue thromboplastin inhibitors. It is concluded that regulation of the release of antithromboplastins in the intestine is mediated by the structures similar in their characteristics to alpha- and beta-adrenoreceptors.

RESUMO

Acetylcholine entailed a release of substance possessing activity of the blood plasma antithrombin III into the intestinal vascular bed and activated to some extent the release of antifibrinolytic compounds. Atropin suppressed the antithrombin III release and obviously increased the perfusate's fibrinolytic activity. The parasympathetic portion of the vegetative nervous system evidently is able to regulate the release of compounds similar to antithrombin III and fibrinolysis inhibitors, from the vessels and tissues of intestine.

RESUMO

The hemocoagulative and fibrinolytic characteristics of the endometrium in 16 cases with precancerous lesions and 16 cases of endometrial carcinoma were studied. The latter revealed an enhanced thromboplastic and antiheparin activity matched by a decrease in anticoagulative and fibrinolytic activity. It is suggested that uterine bleeding is due in such cases to local intravascular blood clotting, secondary activation of fibrinolysis and lysis of resultant clots.
