Background: Autoimmune diseases have always been one of the difficult diseases of clinical concern. Because of the diversity and complexity of its causative factors, unclear occurrence and development process and difficult treatment, it has become a key disease for researchers to study. And the disease explored in this paper, anti-NMDA encephalitis, belongs to a common type of autoimmune encephalitis. However, the quality of articles and research hotspots in this field are not yet known. Therefore, in this field, we completed a bibliometric and visualization analysis from 2005 to 2023 in order to understand the research hotspots and directions of development in this field. Materials and methods: We searched the SCI-expanded databases using Web of Science's core databases on January 22, 2024 and used tools such as VOS viewer, Cite Space, and R software to visualize and analyze the authors, countries, journals, institutions, and keywords of the articles. Results: A total of 1,161 literatures were retrieved and analyzed in this study. China was the country with the most total publications, and USA and Spain were the most influential countries in the field of anti-NMDA encephalitis. University of Pennsylvania from USA was the institution with the highest number of publications. While Dalmau Josep is the most prolific, influential and contributing author who published one of the most cited articles in Lancet Neurology, which laid the foundation for anti-NMDA encephalitis research, the top three appearances of keyword analysis were: "antibodies", "diagnosis", and "autoimmune encephalitis." Conclusion: Bibliometric analysis shows that the number of studies on anti-NMDA encephalitis is generally increasing year by year, and it is a hot disease pursued by researchers. USA and Spain are leading in the field of anti-NMDA encephalitis, while China should continue to improve the quality of its own research. The suspected causes of anti-NMDA encephalitis other than ovarian teratoma and herpes simplex, the specific clinical manifestations that are not masked by psychiatric symptoms, the diagnostic modalities that are faster and more accurate than antibody tests, and the improvement of treatment modalities by evaluating prognosis of various types of patients are the hotspots for future research.

Inspired by intriguing color changeable ability of natural animals, the design and fabrication of artificial mechanochromic materials capable of changing colors upon stretching or pressing have attracted intense scientific interest. Liquid crystal (LC) is a self-organized soft matter with anisotropic molecular alignment. Due to the sensitivity to various external stimulations, LC has been considered as an emerging and appealing responsive building block to construct intelligent materials and advanced devices. Recently, mechanochromic LC materials have becoming a hot topic in multi fields from flexible artificial skins to visualized sensors and smart biomimetic devices. In this review, the recent progress of mechanochromic LCs is comprehensively summarized. Firstly, the mechanism and functionalities of mechanochromic LC is introduced, followed by preparation of various functional materials based on mechanochromic LCs. Then the applications of mechanochromic LCs are provided. Finally, the conclusion and outlooks of this field is given. This overview is hoped to provide inspiration in fabrication of advanced functional soft materials for scientists and engineers from multidisciplines including materials science, elastomers, chemistry and physical science. Endothelial and epithelial barrier dysfunction due to increased permeability and heightened inflammatory reactions influences the emergence of acute lung injury (ALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). Nevertheless, bibliometric research comparing endothelial and epithelial barriers is limited. Therefore, this bibliometric study analyzed the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC) of the Science Citation Index Expanded literature to explore present research priorities and development tendencies within this field. We conducted a comprehensive search (October 18, 2023) on WoSCC from January 1, 2010, to October 18, 2023, focusing on articles related to endothelial and epithelial barriers in ALI and ARDS. Retrieved data were visualized and analyzed using R-bibliometrix, VOS viewer 1.6.19, and CiteSpace 6.2. R4. Functional enrichment analysis of gene targets identified in the keyword list using Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) and Gene ontology databases, and based on the STRING database to construct a PPI network to predict core genes. A total of 941 original articles and reviews were identified. The United States had the highest number of publications and citations and the highest H-index and G-index. According to the Collaboration Network Analysis graph, the United States and China had the strongest collaboration. Birukova AA had the most publications and citations among all authors, while eight of the top ten institutions with mediator centrality were located in the United States. The American Journal of Physiology-Lung Cellular and Molecular Physiology was the leading journal and had the most well-established publication on endothelial and epithelial barriers in ALI and ARDS. Bibliometric analysis revealed that the most frequently used keywords were acute lung injury, ARDS, activation, expression, and inflammation. RHOA appeared most frequently among gene-related keywords, and the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway had the highest count in KEGG pathway enrichment. Research on endothelial versus epithelial barriers in ALI and ARDS remains preliminary. This bibliometric study examined cooperative network connections among countries, authors, journals, and network associations in the cited references. Investigation of the functions of the endothelial and epithelial barriers in ALI/ARDS associated with COVID-19 has recently gained significant attention.

BACKGROUND: Pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a complex vascular disorder, characterized by pulmonary vessel remodeling and perivascular inflammation. Pulmonary arterial smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) pyroptosis is a novel pathological mechanism implicated of pulmonary vessel remodeling. However, the involvement of circRNAs in the process of pyroptosis and the underlying regulatory mechanisms remain inadequately understood. METHODS: Western blotting, PI staining and LDH release were used to explore the role of circLrch3 in PASMCs pyroptosis. Moreover, S9.6 dot blot and DRIP-PCR were used to assess the formation of R-loop between circLrch3 and its host gene Lrch3. Chip-qPCR were used to evaluate the mechanism of super enhancer-associated circLrh3, which is transcriptionally activated by the transcription factor Tbx2. RESULTS: CircLrch3 was markedly upregulated in hypoxic PASMCs. CircLrch3 knockdown inhibited hypoxia induced PASMCs pyroptosis in vivo and in vitro. Mechanistically, circLrch3 can form R-loop with host gene to upregulate the protein and mRNA expression of Lrch3. Furthermore, super enhancer interacted with the Tbx2 at the Lrch3 promoter locus, mediating the augmented transcription of circLrch3. CONCLUSION: Our findings clarify the role of a super enhancer-associated circLrch3 in the formation of R-loop with the host gene Lrch3 to modulate pyroptosis in PASMCs, ultimately promoting the development of PH.

BACKGROUND: In recent years, acute lung injury (ALI) and ARDS have emerged as critical health concerns, drawing considerable attention from clinicians. The volume of published articles on ALI/ARDS is on the rise, indicating the expanding research interest in this field. However, the precise quantity and quality of studies on ALI/ARDS remain unclear. Consequently, we employed bibliometric and visual techniques to comprehensively analyze the patterns and focal points of these articles. METHODS: To investigate the characteristics of highly referenced papers on ALI/ARDS and offer insights into the progress and advancements in research on ALI/ARDS, we conducted a comprehensive search in the core Web of Science database for cited articles using the terms "ALI," "acute lung injury," "ARDS," or "acute respiratory distress syndrome." A total of 60,282 citations were retrieved by narrowing the scope to reviews, articles, and publications in English. From the obtained citations, we selected materials for analysis from the top 100 articles with the highest number of citations. Subsequently, the articles were visualized and analyzed using VOSviewer, CiteSpace, and bibliometric techniques. This analysis focused on identifying trends related to authors, journals, countries, institutions, collaborative networks, key words, and other relevant factors in the field of ALI/ARDS research. RESULTS: Among the top 100 cited articles, the highest and lowest number of citations were 6,957 and 451, respectively. A total of 100 articles were published between 1991-2020, with a peak in publications observed in 2004, 2005, and 2012 (no. = 7). Among 29 journals, The New England Journal of Medicine (no. = 21) had the highest number of publications, followed by the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine (no. = 14). Among the 29 countries represented in the top 100 cited articles, the United States (no. = 51) emerged as the leading country in the number of publications, followed by Canada (no. = 19) (there was some overlap in paper output between countries due to co-publication). The 3 predominant keywords identified in studies within the ALI/ARDS domain were ALI, mechanical ventilation, and PEEP. CONCLUSIONS: This study provides a historical perspective on the scientific advancements in ALI/ARDS research, highlighting the need for further investigation and development in specific areas within the field. Bibliometric analyses reveal that the United States is the predominant force in the field of ALI/ARDS, contributing significantly to its development. Through an examination of highly cited papers on ALI/ARDS, we have identified global research trends, assessed the quality of studies, and identified hot topics in the field of ALI/ARDS.

BACKGROUND: Small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) play key roles in ribosome biosynthesis. However, the mechanism by which snoRNAs regulate cancer stemness remains to be fully elucidated. METHODS: SNORA68 expression was evaluated in breast cancer tissues by in situ hybridization and qRT‒PCR. Proliferation, migration, apoptosis and stemness analyses were used to determine the role of SNORA68 in carcinogenesis and stemness maintenance. Mechanistically, RNA pull-down, RNA immunoprecipitation (RIP), cell fractionation and coimmunoprecipitation assays were conducted. RESULTS: SNORA68 exhibited high expression in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and was significantly correlated with tumor size (P = 0.048), ki-67 level (P = 0.037), and TNM stage (P = 0.015). The plasma SNORA68 concentration was significantly lower in patients who achieved clinical benefit. The SNORA68-high patients had significantly shorter disease-free survival (DFS) (P = 0.036). Functionally, SNORA68 was found to promote the cell stemness and carcinogenesis of TNBC in vitro and in vivo. Furthermore, elevated SNORA68 expression led to increased nucleolar RPL23 expression and retained RPL23 in the nucleolus by binding U2AF2. RPL23 in the nucleolus subsequently upregulated c-Myc expression. This pathway was validated using a xenograft model. CONCLUSION: U2AF2-SNORA68 promotes TNBC stemness by retaining RPL23 in the nucleolus and increasing c-Myc expression, which provides new insight into the regulatory mechanism of stemness.

K+ channels regulate morphogens to scale adult fins, but little is known about what regulates the channels and how they control morphogen expression. Using the zebrafish pectoral fin bud as a model for early vertebrate fin/limb development, we found that K+ channels also scale this anatomical structure, and we determined how one K+-leak channel, Kcnk5b, integrates into its developmental program. From FLIM measurements of a Förster Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET)-based K+ sensor, we observed coordinated decreases in intracellular K+ levels during bud growth, and overexpression of K+-leak channels in vivo coordinately increased bud proportions. Retinoic acid, which can enhance fin/limb bud growth, decreased K+ in bud tissues and up-regulated regulator of calcineurin (rcan2). rcan2 overexpression increased bud growth and decreased K+, while CRISPR-Cas9 targeting of rcan2 decreased growth and increased K+. We observed similar results in the adult caudal fins. Moreover, CRISPR targeting of Kcnk5b revealed that Rcan2-mediated growth was dependent on the Kcnk5b. We also found that Kcnk5b enhanced depolarization in fin bud cells via Na+ channels and that this enhanced depolarization was required for Kcnk5b-enhanced growth. Lastly, Kcnk5b-induced shha transcription and bud growth required IP3R-mediated Ca2+ release and CaMKK activity. Thus, we provide a mechanism for how retinoic acid via rcan2 can regulate K+-channel activity to scale a vertebrate appendage via intercellular Ca2+ signaling.

With rapid industrialization and urbanization, the risk of summer heat exposure for urban dwellers has increased. The use of air conditioners (ACs) has become the most common personal cooling strategy, but further increasing fossil fuel consumption. As sustainable and affordable cooling strategies, urban parks can reduce heat exposure and substitute a part of air conditioners use. This study evaluates the heat exposure reduction from personal cooling to urban parks based on satellite images, questionnaire surveys, and network analysis in Liuzhou, one tropical city in China. We found that residents with lower income had a higher risk of heat exposure. Among the respondents, 85 % of residents chose to use ACs to alleviate high temperatures in summer, and 81.8 % among them were willing to access park cooling area (PCA) to cool off instead of using ACs. About one third parks could serve as potential alternatives (with temperatures <28 °C) to air conditioning, reducing carbon emissions by 175.93 tons per day during the hot summer and offsetting 2.5 % of urban fossil fuel carbon emissions. The design of parks should give more consideration to elder people and provide a good cooling platform for various social income groups. Future planning should also focus on accessibility to enable residents to fully utilize the parks. Building parks within 34.10 ha would provide a more efficient use of land. This research guides sustainable, high-quality growth in industrial cities and might contribute to promotion of low-carbon cities and social equity.

Breast cancer stem cells (BCSCs) are key players in carcinogenesis and development. Small nucleolar RNAs (snoRNAs) seem to have a crucial influence on regulating stem cell-like properties in various cancers, but the underlying mechanism in breast cancer has not been determined. In this study, we first found that the expression of SNORA51 might be strongly and positively related to BCSCs-like properties. SNORA51 expression was assessed in breast cancer tissues (n = 158 patients) by in situ hybridization. Colony formation, cell counting kit-8, and sphere formation assays were used to detect cell proliferation and self-renewal, respectively. Wound healing and transwell assays were used to detect cell migration. Coimmunoprecipitation and molecular docking were used to determine the underlying mechanism through which SNORA51 regulates BCSCs-like properties. High SNORA51 expression was associated with a worse prognosis, overall survival, and disease-free survival, in 158 breast cancer patients and was also closely related to lymph node status, ER status, the Ki-67 index, histological grade, and TNM stage. Further analysis proved that SNORA51 could enhance and maintain stem cell-like properties, including cell proliferation, self-renewal, and migration, in breast cancer. Moreover, high SNORA51 expression could reduce nucleolar RPL3 expression, induce changes in the expression of NPM1 in the nucleolus and nucleoplasm, and ultimately increase c-MYC expression. Taken together, our findings demonstrated that SNORA51 could enhance BCSCs-like properties via the RPL3/NPM1/c-MYC pathway both in vitro and in vivo. Therefore, SNORA51 might be a significant biomarker and potential therapeutic target and might even provide a new viewpoint on the regulatory mechanism of snoRNAs in breast cancer or other malignant tumors.

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis is a progressive interstitial lung disease for which there is no curative therapy available. Repetitive alveolar epithelial injury repair, myofibroblast accumulation, and excessive collagen deposition are key pathologic features of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, eventually leading to cellular hypoxia and respiratory failure. The precise mechanism driving this complex maladaptive process remains inadequately understood. WD repeat and suppressor of cytokine signaling box containing 1 (WSB1) is an E3 ubiquitin ligase, the expression of which is associated strongly with hypoxia, and forms a positive feedback loop with hypoxia-inducible factor 1α (HIF-1α) under anoxic condition. This study explored the expression, cellular distribution, and function of WSB1 in bleomycin (BLM)-induced mouse lung injury and fibrosis. WSB1 expression was highly induced by BLM injury and correlated with the progression of lung fibrosis. Significantly, conditional deletion of Wsb1 in adult mice ameliorated BLM-induced pulmonary fibrosis. Phenotypically, Wsb1-deficient mice showed reduced lipofibroblast to myofibroblast transition, but enhanced alveolar type 2 proliferation and differentiation into alveolar type 1 after BLM injury. Proteomic analysis of mouse lung tissues identified caveolin 2 as a potential downstream target of WSB1, contributing to BLM-induced epithelial injury repair and fibrosis. These findings unravel a vital role for WSB1 induction in lung injury repair, thus highlighting it as a potential therapeutic target for pulmonary fibrosis.

This study underscores the paramount importance of facial expressions in pigs, serving as a sophisticated mode of communication to gauge their emotions, physical well-being, and intentions. Given the inherent challenges in deciphering such expressions due to pigs' rudimentary facial muscle structure, we introduced an avant-garde pig facial expression recognition model named CReToNeXt-YOLOv5. The proposed model encompasses several refinements tailored for heightened accuracy and adeptness in detection. Primarily, the transition from the CIOU to the EIOU loss function optimized the training dynamics, leading to precision-driven regression outcomes. Furthermore, the incorporation of the Coordinate Attention mechanism accentuated the model's sensitivity to intricate expression features. A significant innovation was the integration of the CReToNeXt module, fortifying the model's prowess in discerning nuanced expressions. Efficacy trials revealed that CReToNeXt-YOLOv5 clinched a mean average precision (mAP) of 89.4%, marking a substantial enhancement by 6.7% relative to the foundational YOLOv5. Crucially, this advancement holds profound implications for animal welfare monitoring and research, as our findings underscore the model's capacity to revolutionize the accuracy of pig facial expression recognition, paving the way for more humane and informed livestock management practices.

The reliable and accurate detection of unauthorized additives in food is significant to prevent health risks. In recent years, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) with fast, simple, and sensitive capabilities has been widely used for food safety analysis. In order to detect illegally added dye molecule rhodamine 6G and small molecule melamine in food, we have proposed a fast, convenient, and label-free SERS detection technology using flower-like Ag/ZnO as the SERS substrate. The structure and morphology of the flower-like Ag/ZnO were characterized by scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive spectrometery, transmission electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction analysis. We investigated the SERS effect and sensitivity of flower-like Ag/ZnO toward rhodamine 6G and melamine. The synergistic effect of flower-like Ag/ZnO provides high SERS activity for the detection of rhodamine 6G and melamine at the lowest detection concentrations of 0.5 ng mL-1 and 1.0 ng mL-1, respectively. Therefore, flower-like Ag/ZnO with good sensitivity and uniformity has potential for improving the detection of illegal food additives.

We developed a multiplex single-molecule quantitative assay of intracellular telomerase that used target-triggered signal amplification to enhance sensitivity, substrate reaction to increase signal stability, and quantum dots to enhance signal-to-noise ratio, obtaining an LOD of 5 × 10-14 IU for intracellular telomerase and LOD of 3 cells for multiple cancer cells.

DNA nanomachines could initiate the cascade reaction in an autonomous mode under the drive of triggers, which achieve the signal amplification for the bioimaging of intracellular biomarkers. Compared with the "always-on" nanomachine that possibly produces false-positive signals, a controllable nanomachine with the on-site activation could be better for accurate tumor imaging and precise tumor therapy. Till now, the endogenous and exogenous triggers have been developed to design the controllable nanosensors. However, their combinations to develop feasible DNA nanomachines have been rarely studied. Herein, we constructed a near-infrared (NIR)-light-controlled DNA nanomachine that was first activated by the NIR light and then induced a target-triggered amplification process under the drive of an endogenous stimulus. Owing to adenosine-5'-triphosphate (ATP) having much higher concentration in cancer cells than that in healthy cells and the extracellular fluid, the obtained DNA nanomachine was selectively activated in cancer cells with inhibited interference signals from the surrounding healthy tissues. With obvious advantages including the exogenous NIR light initiation, the selective activation by the target microRNA, and the sensitive acceleration by the ATP-induced strand recycling reaction, the constructed nanomachine could be used to image the intracellular microRNA with increased sensitivity. Besides, after modifying the DNA sequence with the photosensitizer molecules, the obtained nanomachine could perform the selective photodynamic therapy on the tumor sections with the outstandingly decreased side effects. Thus, we hope the designed nanomachine could provide some important hints to design feasible nanomachines for accurate tumor diagnosis and precise tumor therapy.

Objective: To conduct a bibliometric analysis of the global snakebite literature to provide a reference for the future development of snakebite research. Methods: The Web of Science citation analysis tools, VOSviewer and CiteSpace V were used to carry out the bibliometric analysis of the literature and generate visualization maps. Results: The number of publications has increased at a considerably accelerated rate in the past 8 years. Nine distinct cooperation clusters were formed between institutions and countries. Keyword clustering yielded nine well-structured clusters covering two major topics, i.e., snakebite envenoming and antivenom. Burstiness detection revealed eight keywords with strong emergence, including neglected tropical diseases, Elapidae, Viperidae, and Russell's viper, which have sustained popularity up to the present. Conclusion: Current research on snakebites has gradually garnered attention from the academic community. Cooperation papers between nations severely affected by snakebite and those with higher economic status received more attention. The continued exploration of therapeutic mechanisms, the development of antivenoms or alternative medicines, and primary prevention of snakebites to ensure the safety of populations in impoverished regions should be prioritized by international scholars. The epidemiological evidence and the timely translation of research findings should be valued by policymakers.

The structure characteristics, functional properties, antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities of pectins extracted from feijoa peel with water (FP-W), acid (FP-A) and alkali (FP-B) were investigated. Results showed that the feijoa peel pectins (FPs) were mainly composed of galacturonic acid, arabinose, galactose and rhamnose. FP-W and FP-A had higher proportion of homogalacturonan domain, degree of esterification and molecular weight (for main component) than FP-B; FP-B owned the highest yield, protein and polyphenol contents. FP-W had a compact and smooth surface morphology unlike FP-A and FP-B. FP-W and FP-A had better thermal stability than FP-B. The rheological analysis suggested that the FPs exhibited pseudoplastic fluid behavior, and the elastic characteristics were dominant. Results showed that FP-W and FP-B had superior antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities than FP-A. According to correlation analysis, monosaccharide composition, sugar ratios and degree of acetylation were chief factors affecting the functional properties, antioxidant and hypoglycemic activities of the FPs.

Bacterial wilt caused by Ralstonia solanacearum ranks the second top important bacterial plant disease worldwide. It is also the most important bacterial disease threatening the healthy development of Casuarina equisetifolia protection forest. 3-hydroxypalmitic acid methyl ester (3-OH PAME) functions as an important quorum sensing (QS) signal regulating the expression of virulence genes in R. solanacearum, and has been regarded as an ideal target for disease prevention and control. To screen native microorganisms capable of degrading 3-OH PAME, samples of C. equisetifolia branches and forest soil were collected and cultured in the medium containing 3-OH PAME as the sole carbon source. Bacteria with over 85% degradation rates of 3-OH PAME after 7-day incubation were further separated and purified. As a result, strain Q1-7 isolated from forest soil and strain Q4-3 isolated from C. equisetifolia branches were obtained and identified as Pseudomonas novel species Pseudomonas forestsoilum sp. nov. and P. tohonis, respectively, according to whole genome sequencing results. The degradation efficiencies of 3-OH PAME of strains Q1-7 and Q4-3 were 95.80% and 100.00% at 48 h, respectively. Both strains showed high esterase activities and inhibited R. solanacearum exopolysaccharide (EPS) and cellulase production. Application of strains Q1-7 and Q4-3 effectively protects C. equisetifolia, peanut and tomato plants from infection by R. solanacearum. Findings in this study provide potential resources for the prevention and control of bacterial wilt caused by R. solanacearum, as well as valuable materials for the identification of downstream quenching genes and the research and development of quenching enzymes for disease control.

A method for the determination of nine biogenic amines (BAs) in wine was established using ion chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (IC-MS/MS) without derivatization. BAs were separated by a cation exchange column (IonPac CG17, 50 mm × 4 mm, 7 µm) with a gradient aqueous formic acid elution. Good linearity was obtained for nine BAs with coefficients of determination (R2) > 0.9972 within the range of 0.01-50 mg/L. The limits of detection and quantification were within the ranges of 0.6-40 µg/L and 2.0-135 µg/L, respectively, with the exception of spermine (SPM). The recoveries were demonstrated within the range of 82.6-103.0%, with relative standard deviations (RSDs) of less than 4.2%. This simple method featuring excellent sensitivity and selectivity was suitable for the quantification of BAs in wines. The occurrence of BAs in 236 wine samples that are commercially available in China was determined. The BA levels in wines of different geographical origins varied significantly. The acute dietary exposure assessment of BAs was carried out by calculating the estimated short-term intake (ESTI) and comparing the acute reference dose (ARfD) specified by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Results showed that the exposure to histamine (HIS) and tyramine (TYR) via the consumption of wines was much lower than the recommended ARfD level for healthy individuals. However, exposure could lead to symptoms in susceptible individuals. These results provided basic data regarding the occurrence and risk of BAs in wines for wine production, health guidance and consumer safety.

Transition metal phosphides (TMPs) are one of the most promising alternatives to noble metal electrocatalysts, but so far their activity and stability still fall short of expectations. Here, we prepare nitrogen-doped nickel-cobalt phosphide (N-NiCoP) and molybdenum phosphide (MoP) heterostructures engineered on nickel foam (NF) with nanosheet structure by high-temperature annealing and low-temperature phosphorylation. Notably, heteroatomic N doping and heterostructures construction are achieved together through a simple co-pyrolysis method. The distinctive composition can synergistically promote the electron transfer, lower the reaction barriers, thus improving the catalytic performance. Therefore, the modified MoP@N-NiCoP requires low overpotentials of 43 mV and 232 mV to reach 10 mA cm-2 current density for hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) accompanied by satisfactory stability in 1 M KOH. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations reveal the electron coupling and synergistic interfacial effects at the heterogeneous interface. This study provides a new strategy for heterogeneous electrocatalysts with elemental doping to promote hydrogen applications.
