RESUMO

The reverse logistics of municipal hazardous waste (RLMHW) have received close attention from researchers and practitioners alike, given the essential impact of safe transportation and effective management of hazardous waste on public health and environmental sustainability. There are a great number of studies in the extant literature on RLMHW, with many and diverse research topics; however, a concise and complete overview of the research works already conducted in this particular area is conspicuous by its absence. This paper strives to fill the gap through the conduct of rigorous systematic literature review of RLMHW in the past three decades, and then establish a framework of studies on RLMHW. The main contributions of this study are as follows: (1) to identify the trend of journals publishing research papers on RLMHW; (2) to extract the main topics in studies on RLMHW; (3) to locate the most popular research areas of RLMHW; (4) to summarize the methods adopted in studies on RLMHW; (5) to identify research deficiencies in certain categories of RLMHW; and (6) to establish the future research directions of RLMHW. The main implications of the study are to offer a better understanding of RLMHW by systematic crystallization of archival data in a systematic chronological order across central issues. This study contributes to scholarly debate in this field by serving as a snapshot paper to document the development of the field and gives input to policymakers in process design and policy making in the domain of RLMHW.

RESUMO

Using service-dominant logic as a theoretical lens, this study investigated the co-production of healthcare service and service value co-creation between nurses and patients. The main objective of this study was to: (1) examine the effect of patient participation on patient satisfaction and nurses' attitudes and behaviors; (2) examine boundary conditions of the effect of patient participation on patients and nurses. We proposed that patient participation positively impacted patient satisfaction and nurse job satisfaction, work engagement, and helping behaviors. We further proposed that first inpatient stay and length of stay moderated the effect of patient participation on patient satisfaction, and nurses' sociodemographic characteristics moderated the effect of patient participation on nurse job satisfaction, work engagement, and helping behaviors. Using survey data from 282 nurses and 522 inpatients from a public hospital in China, we found that the effect of patient participation on patient satisfaction was contingent upon first inpatient stay and length of stay. We also found that patient participation improved nurse job satisfaction, work engagement, and helping behaviors. Furthermore, nurses' sociodemographic characteristics, namely age and organizational tenure, moderated the effect of patient participation on nurse job satisfaction, but not on work engagement and helping behaviors. Theoretical and practical implications of our findings were discussed.

RESUMO

In recent years, the monolithic material has been developed increasingly in the high performance liquid phase field, and it could also be applied in the field of catalyst, as a monolithic catalyst carrier, since it has a large specific surface area, and could be customized based on the mould. The monolithic catalyst is characterized with many advantages such as low bed pressure, high physical efficiency and small amplification effect. The most impotant part refers to the preparation of copper-based catalyst. The impregnation method is used to produce CuO-ZnO monolithic catalyst and CuO-ZnO-ZrO2 monolithic catalyst with the prepared monolithic silica-alumina carrier. The fixed bed microreactor is used to investigate the effect of copper-based catalyst on the process in which carbon dioxide is used to produce methanol through hydrogenation. The metal salt is added into the sol-gel process, which could form the M-O-Si bond, thus make the metal-containing catalytic material obtain good mechanical strength, and make it possible to be introduced into the acidic center generally. The metal-containing catalytic material carrier also has macropores and mesopores. The presence of large pores could make the molecular mass transfer more effective, while the presence of mesopores could increase the specific surface area of the material. In this paper, the experimental study has been conducted on the production of methanol through hydrogenation of CO2 under different catalysts, to mainly investigate the effect of catalysts with different catalytic performance on the reaction.

RESUMO

Coordination is essential for improving supply chain performance, and one of the most critical factors in achieving the coordination of a supply chain is the integrated research of production and distribution. In this paper, a novel two-stage hybrid solution methodology is proposed. In the first stage, products are processed on the serial machines of multiple manufacturers located in two industrial parks. A fuzzy multi-objective scheduling optimization is performed using a modified non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm II (NSGA-II). The result obtained in the first stage is used in the second stage to optimize the distribution scheduling problem using a modified genetic annealing algorithm (GAA). Finally, simulation results verify both the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed solution methodology.

RESUMO

In a collaborative product design project, reasonable resource allocation can shorten the development cycle and reduce cost. Team capacity evaluation and a task-team scheduling model are presented. A collaborative team capacity model is constructed, and a 2-tuple linguistic method is used to evaluate the capacity of collaborative teams. Next, the matching degree between design task and collaborative team is defined. A collaborative product design scheduling model considering task-team matching is developed. Combined with the simulated annealing operator, based on the single-coding strategy, self-adaptive multi-point cross and mutation, an improved genetic algorithm is proposed to solve the model. Finally, a case study is presented to validate the method.

RESUMO

Low-carbon product design is an important way to reduce greenhouse gas emission. Customer collaborative product innovation (CCPI) has become a new worldwide product design trend. Based on this popularity, we introduced CCPI into the low-carbon product design process. An essential step for implementing low carbon CCPI is to clarify key low carbon requirements of customers. This study tested a novel method for perceiving key requirements of customer collaboration low-carbon product design based on fuzzy grey relational analysis and genetic algorithm. Firstly, the study considered consumer heterogeneity, allowing different types of customers to evaluate low carbon requirements in appropriate formats that reflected their degrees of uncertainty. Then, a nonlinear optimization model was proposed to establish the information aggregation factor of customers based on the genetic algorithm. The weight of customers was obtained simultaneously. Next, the key low carbon requirements of customer were identified. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method was illustrated with a case related to a low carbon liquid crystal display.

RESUMO

Happiness is a major factor that influences people’s perceptions and behavior. Two-stage least squares regression was applied to investigate the effect of happiness on the psychological integration of migrant workers in China. The data for a total of 1625 individuals were obtained from the 2014 China Labor-force Dynamics Survey (CLDS). This study describes happiness from three main aspects: happiness, life satisfaction, and economic satisfaction. The psychological integration includes two dimensions of settlement willingness, and trust level; these have gone through dimension-reduced processing by using the weighted average method. The empirical evidence shows, first, that happiness has a significantly positive effect on the psychological integration of migrant workers and second, that the sense of life satisfaction in particular plays a more significant role. The acceleration of the social and political integration in migrant workers will enhance their psychological integration. Additionally, social, cultural and economic integration is found to influence migrant workers’ psychological integration by promoting happiness. Happiness between different generations of migrant workers was found to have a noticeably positive impact on their psychological integration; however, the happiness of the younger migrant workers was more perceivable than that of the other generations. Preferential policies should therefore be provided to improve the happiness of migrant workers.
