RESUMO

Purpose: The sport-event theme songs is a crucial means to evoke consumer enthusiasm and boost the influence of sport event. This research aims to examine the effects of direct and indirect listening channels for sport-event theme songs on consumers' willingness to share. Methods: In this research, three between-subjects experiments were conducted to measure the effect of listening channels for sport-event theme songs on the willingness to share, along with the moderating effects of fans' fanaticism and sport-event type. All participants in the experiments were social populations from China. Results: Study 1 reveals that direct listening is more likely to cause consumers to share cognitive information about sport-event theme songs; indirect listening, meanwhile, makes them more willing to share the emotional value of the songs. Study 2 indicates that fans' fanaticism moderates the relationship between listening type and shared content. In the case of low fanaticism, indirect listening can increase consumers' willingness to share sport-event theme songs compared with direct listening. Study 3 reveals that sport-event type moderates the relationship between listening type and shared content. For public welfare sport events, indirect listening is more likely than direct listening to cause consumers to share the emotional value of sport-event theme songs. For commercial events, compared with indirect listening, direct listening is more likely to cause consumers to share cognitive information about sport-event theme songs. Conclusion: The results of this research unveiled the effect of listening channels for sport-event theme songs on the willingness to share, as well as the theoretical mechanisms behind them. In addition, this research enriches the research on listening channels in the field of psychology and provides an important basis for improving the effectiveness of sport-event theme songs.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: With advancements in the development of endoscopic technologies, the endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) has been one of the gold-standard therapies for early gastric cancer. AIM: To investigate the efficacy and safety ESD in the treatment of early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions in the elderly patients. METHODS: Seventy-eight elderly patients with early gastric cancer and precancerous lesions admitted to the Third Affiliated Hospital of Qiqihar Medical University were selected and classified into two groups according to the different surgical therapies they received between January 2021 and June 2022. Among them, 39 patients treated with ESD were included in an experimental group, and 39 patients treated with endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) were included in a control group. We compared the basic intraoperative conditions, postoperative short-term recovery, long-term recovery effects and functional status of gastric mucosa between the two groups; the basic intraoperative conditions included lesion resection, intraoperative bleeding and operation time; the postoperative short-term recovery assessment indexes were length of hospital stay and incidence of surgical complications; and the long-term recovery assessment indexes were the recurrence rate at 1 year postoperatively and the survival situation at 1 year and 3 years postoperatively; and we compared the preoperative and predischarge serum pepsinogen I (PG I) and PG II levels and PG I/PG II ratio in the two groups before surgery and discharge. RESULTS: The curative resection rate and the rate of en bloc resection were higher in the experimental group than in the control group. The intraoperative bleeding volume was higher in the experimental group than in the control group. The operation time was longer in the experimental group than that in the control group, and the rate for base residual focus was lower in the experimental group than that of the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant (all P < 0.05). The length of hospital stay was longer in the experimental group than in the control group, and the incidence of surgical complications, 1-year postoperative recurrence rate and 3-year postoperative survival rate were lower in the experimental group than in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). However, the difference in the 1-year postoperative survival rate was not statistically significant between the two groups (P > 0.05). Before discharge, PG I and PG I/PG II ratio were elevated in both groups compared with the preoperative period, and the above indexes were higher in the experimental group than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (both P < 0.05). Moreover, before discharge, PG II level was lower in both groups compared with the preoperative period, and the level was lower in the experimental group than in the control group, and the differences were all statistically significant (all P < 0.05). CONCLUSION: Compared with EMR, ESD surgery is more thorough. It reduces the rate of base residual focus, recurrence rate, surgical complications, and promotes the recovery of gastric cells and glandular function. It is safe and suitable for clinical application.

RESUMO

The design and development of wound dressings with excellent procoagulant and antibacterial activity to achieve high wound healing effectiveness are highly desirable in clinical applications. In this work, we develop a calcium-copper zeolite gauze (CaCu-ZG) by a two-step process involving calcium and copper ion exchange in a zeolite gauze. The CaCu-ZG exhibits remarkable procoagulant and antibacterial abilities, as well as good biocompatibility. Compared with the medical gauze, the blood clotting time of CaCu-ZG significantly decreases and the antibacterial activity increases in both in vivo and in vitro experiments. The remarkable ability of wound healing has been verified using a mouse dorsal skin-infected wound model, demonstrating its great potential for wound treatment in clinical applications.

RESUMO

In this study, the phase field method has been used to study the effect of second phase particles with different shapes and different orientations on the grain growth of AZ31 magnesium alloy, after annealing at 350 °C for 100 min. The results show that the shape of the second phase particles would have an effect on the grain growth; the refinement effect of elliptical particles and rod-shaped particles was similar, and better than the spherical particles; the spatial arrangement direction of the second phase particles had no significant effect on the grain growth. On the other hand, when the microstructure of AZ31 magnesium alloy contained second phase particles with different shapes, the effect of mixing different shapes of second phase particles on the grain refinement was enhanced gradually with the decrease im the volume fraction of spherical particles.

RESUMO

In the past decade, bamboo scrimber has developed rapidly in the field of building materials due to its excellent mechanical properties, such as high toughness and high tensile strength. However, when the applied stress exceeds the ultimate strength limit of bamboo scrimber, cracks occur, which affects the performance of bamboo scrimber in structural applications. Due to the propensity of cracks to propagate, it reduces the load-bearing capacity of the bamboo scrimber material. Therefore, research on the fracture toughness of bamboo scrimber contributes to determining the material's load-bearing capacity and failure mechanisms, enabling its widespread application in engineering failure analysis. The fracture toughness of bamboo scrimber was studied via the single-edge notched beam (SENB) experiment and compact compression (CC) method. Nine groups of longitudinal and transverse samples were selected for experimental investigation. The fracture toughness of longitudinal bamboo scrimber under tensile and compressive loadings was 3.59 MPa·m1/2 and 2.39 MPa·m1/2, respectively. In addition, the fracture toughness of transverse bamboo scrimber under tensile and compressive conditions was 0.38 MPa·m1/2 and 1.79 MPa·m1/2, respectively. The results show that, for this material, there was a significant distinction between longitudinal and transverse. Subsequently, three-point bending tests and simulations were studied. The results show that the failure mode and the force-displacement curve of the numerical simulation were highly consistent compared with the experimental results. It could verify the correctness of the test parameters. Finally, the flexural strength of bamboo scrimber was calculated to be as high as 143.16 MPa. This paper provides data accumulation for the numerical simulation of bamboo scrimber, which can further promote the development of bamboo scrimber parameters in all aspects of the application.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and microRNAs (miRNAs) have been reported to play regulatory roles in ulcerative colitis (UC). In this study, we aimed to determine the specific roles and action mechanism of the nuclear paraspeckle assembly transcript 1 (NEAT1) in UC. METHODS: Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to determine the lncRNA NEAT1 and miR-493-5p expression levels in patients with UC and healthy volunteers. We determine the forecast linkage points of NEAT1 and miR-493-5p using Starbase and those of miR-493-5p and Rab27A using TargetScan, and further verified them using a double luciferase gene reporter kit. RT-qPCR and Western blot analysis were used to determine the lncRNA NEAT1, miR-493-5p, and Rab27A expression levels in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced Caco-2 cells. Flow cytometry and cell counting kit-8 were used to assess Caco-2 cell viability. Tumor necrosis factor-α, interleukin (IL)-6, IL-8, and IL-1ß levels were determined via an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS: Expression levels of NEAT1 were upregulated and those of miR-493-5p were downregualted in 10 ng/mL LPS-treated Caco-2 cells and patients with UC. Dual-luciferase gene reporter assay revealed that miR-493-5p is linked to NEAT1, and Rab27A is a downstream target of miR-493-5p. Overexpression of miR-493-5p inhibited the apoptosis and inflammation in LPS-treated Caco-2 cells. Moreover, downregulation of lncRNA NEAT1 expression also inhibited the apoptosis and inflammation in LPS-treated Caco-2 cells, which was reversed by Rab27A plasmid cotransfection. CONCLUSION: Our results revealed that NEAT1 participates in UC progression by inhibiting miR-493-5p expression.

RESUMO

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanomaterials have been widely used in photocatalytic energy conversion and environmental remediation due to their advantages of low cost, chemical stability, and relatively high photo-activity. However, applications of TiO2 have been restricted in the ultraviolet range because of the wide band gap. Broadening the light absorption of TiO2 nanomaterials is an efficient way to improve the photocatalytic activity. Thus, black TiO2 with extended light response range in the visible light and even near infrared light has been extensively exploited as efficient photocatalysts in the last decade. This review represents an attempt to conclude the recent developments in black TiO2 nanomaterials synthesized by modified treatment, which presented different structure, morphological features, reduced band gap, and enhanced solar energy harvesting efficiency. Special emphasis has been given to the newly developed synthetic methods, porous black TiO2, and the approaches for further improving the photocatalytic activity of black TiO2. Various black TiO2, doped black TiO2, metal-loaded black TiO2 and black TiO2 heterojunction photocatalysts, and their photocatalytic applications and mechanisms in the field of energy and environment are summarized in this review, to provide useful insights and new ideas in the related field.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Mortality rate is a general indicator which can be used to measure care and management of schizophrenia. This cohort study evaluated the standardized mortality ratios (SMRs) of all-cause mortality and life-years lost (LYLs) in patients with schizophrenia under a community care program in China. METHODS: Data were obtained from the National Community Care Program System for Severe Mental Disorders. A total of 99,214 patients diagnosed with schizophrenia were enrolled before December 2014 and followed between 2015 and 2019. A total of 9,483 patients died. Crude mortality rates (CMRs) and SMRs were then stratified by natural vs. unnatural causes, and major groups of death were standardized according to the 2010 National Population SMRs. The corresponding LYLs at birth were also calculated by gender and age. RESULTS: The SMRs of patients with schizophrenia were significantly elevated during the study period, with an overall SMR of 4.98 (95%CI 2.67-7.32). Neoplasms, cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular diseases, external injuries, and poisonings were the most significant causes of death among patients with schizophrenia compared to the general population. The mean LYLs of patients with schizophrenia were 15.28 (95%CI 13.26-17.30). Males with schizophrenia lost 15.82 life-years (95%CI 13.48-18.16), and females lost 14.59 life-years (95%CI 13.12-16.06). CONCLUSIONS: Patients with schizophrenia under community care had a high mortality rate in our study, even though mental health services have been integrated into the general healthcare system in China to narrow treatment gaps in mental health for > 10 years. In terms of mortality outcome indicators, effective and quality mental health services still have a long way to go. The current study demonstrates the potential for improved prevention and treatment of individuals with schizophrenia under community care.

RESUMO

A phase-field model was revised to study the abnormal growth of Goss grains during the annealing process in Fe-3%Si steels, in which the interaction between the second-phase particles and Goss grain boundaries (GBs) was considered. The results indicate that the abnormal growth of Goss grains occurs due to the different dissolvability of the particles at Goss GBs compared with the other GBs. Moreover, the degree of abnormal growth increases first and then decreases with an increasing particle content. Meanwhile, the size advantage of Goss grain can further promote the degree of abnormal growth. Two types of island grains were found according to the simulated results, which is consistent with the experimental observations. A proper GB dissolvability of particles is the key factor for the formation of isolated island grains, and a higher local particle density at GBs is the main reason for the appearance of serial island grains. These findings can provide guidance for the desired texture control in silicon steels.

RESUMO

In the Tibetan agro-pastoral ecotone, which has an altitude of 4000 m above sea level, small-scale cropland tillage has been exploited on the grassland surrounding the houses of farmers and herdsmen. However, knowledge of the effects of land change from grassland to cropland on soil nutrients and microbial communities is poor. Here, we investigated the structure and assembly mechanism of bacterial communities in cropland (tillage) and grassland (non-tillage) from an agro-pastoral ecotone of Tibet. Results indicated that soil nutrients and composition of bacterial communities changed dramatically in the process of land-use change from grassland to cropland. The pH value and the content of total nitrogen, organic material, total potassium, and total phosphorus in cropland soil were well above those in grassland soil, whereas the soil bulk density and ammonia nitrogen content in grassland soil were higher than those in cropland soil. Proteobacteria (30.5%) and Acidobacteria (21.7%) were the key components in cropland soil, whereas Proteobacteria (31.5%) and Actinobacteria (27.7%) were the main components in grassland soils. Tillage promotes uniformity of bacterial communities in cropland soils. In particular, the higher migration rate may increase the coexistence patterns of the bacterial community in cropland soils. These results also suggest that the tillage promotes the migration and coexistence of bacterial communities in the grassland soil of an agro-pastoral ecotone. In addition, the stochastic process was the dominant assembly pattern of the bacterial community in cropland, whereas, in grassland soil, the community assembly was more deterministic. These findings provide new insights into the changes in soil nutrients and microbial communities during the conversion of grassland to cropland in the agro-pastoral ecotone.

RESUMO

Although evolutionary fates and expression patterns of duplicated genes have been extensively investigated, how duplicated genes co-regulate a biological process in polyploids remains largely unknown. Here, we identified two gsdf (gonadal somatic cell-derived factor) homeologous genes (gsdf-A and gsdf-B) in hexaploid gibel carp (Carassius gibelio), wherein each homeolog contained three highly conserved alleles. Interestingly, gsdf-A and gsdf-B transcription were mainly activated by dmrt1-A (dsx- and mab-3-related transcription factor 1) and dmrt1-B, respectively. Loss of either gsdf-A or gsdf-B alone resulted in partial male-to-female sex reversal and loss of both caused complete sex reversal, which could be rescued by a nonsteroidal aromatase inhibitor. Compensatory expression of gsdf-A and gsdf-B was observed in gsdf-B and gsdf-A mutants, respectively. Subsequently, we determined that in tissue culture cells, Gsdf-A and Gsdf-B both interacted with Ncoa5 (nuclear receptor coactivator 5) and blocked Ncoa5 interaction with Rora (retinoic acid-related orphan receptor-alpha) to repress Rora/Ncoa5-induced activation of cyp19a1a (cytochrome P450, family 19, subfamily A, polypeptide 1a). These findings illustrate that Gsdf-A and Gsdf-B can regulate male differentiation by inhibiting cyp19a1a transcription in hexaploid gibel carp and also reveal that Gsdf-A and Gsdf-B can interact with Ncoa5 to suppress cyp19a1a transcription in vitro. This study provides a typical case of cooperative mechanism of duplicated genes in polyploids and also sheds light on the conserved evolution of sex differentiation.

RESUMO

The effect of microstructure on the onset strain and rate of deformation-induced martensitic transformation (DIMT) in Q&P steel is studied by a mean-field micromechanics model, in which the residual austenite (RA) and primary martensite (M) phases are treated as elastoplastic particles embedded into the ferrite (F) matrix. The results show that when the volume fraction of the RA increases with a constant fraction of the M, the onset strain of DIMT increases and transformation rate decreases, in contrast to the case of the RA fraction effect with a fixed F fraction. Increasing the volume fraction of the M postpones the DIMT, regardless of the corresponding change from the RA or F fraction, which is similar to the effect of the RA fraction with the constant M but to a higher degree. Conversely, when increasing the fraction of the matrix F, the onset strain of DIMT increases and the rate decreases, and the effect is greater when the corresponding fraction change comes from the M rather than from the RA. Moreover, when the aspect ratio of the RA increases, the onset strain of DIMT decreases with a gradual increase in transformation rate, in agreement with the experimental observation that the equiaxial austenite is more stable in Q&P steels. However, the aspect ratio effect of the M is opposite to that of the RA, indicating that the lath-shaped primary martensite could protect the austenite from DIMT.

RESUMO

Unisexual taxa are commonly considered short-lived as the absence of meiotic recombination is supposed to accumulate deleterious mutations and hinder the creation of genetic diversity. However, the gynogenetic gibel carp (Carassius gibelio) with high genetic diversity and wide ecological distribution has outlived its predicted extinction time of a strict unisexual reproduction population. Unlike other unisexual vertebrates, males associated with supernumerary microchromosomes have been observed in gibel carp, which provides a unique system to explore the rationales underlying male occurrence in unisexual lineage and evolution of unisexual reproduction. Here, we identified a massively expanded satellite DNA cluster on microchromosomes of hexaploid gibel carp via comparing with the ancestral tetraploid crucian carp (Carassius auratus). Based on the satellite cluster, we developed a method for single chromosomal fluorescence microdissection and isolated three male-specific microchromosomes in a male metaphase cell. Genomic anatomy revealed that these male-specific microchromosomes contained homologous sequences of autosomes and abundant repetitive elements. Significantly, several potential male-specific genes with transcriptional activity were identified, among which four and five genes displayed male-specific and male-biased expression in gonads, respectively, during the developmental period of sex determination. Therefore, the male-specific microchromosomes resembling common features of sex chromosomes may be the main driving force for male occurrence in gynogenetic gibel carp, which sheds new light on the evolution of unisexual reproduction.

RESUMO

Ceramic-particle-reinforced iron matrix composites (CPR-IMCs) have been used in many fields due to their excellent performance. In this study, using the fast resistance-sintering technology developed by our team, iron matrix composites (IMCs) reinforced by both SiC and TiCx particles were fabricated via the addition of SiC and Ti3AlC2 particles, and the resulting relative densities of the sintering products were up to 98%. The XRD and EDS analyses confirmed the in situ formation of the TiCx from the decomposition of Ti3AlC2 during sintering. A significant hybrid reinforcing effect was discovered in the (SiC + TiCx)p/Fe composites, where the experimental strength and hardness of the (SiC + TiCx)p/Fe composites were higher than the composites of monolithic SiCp/Fe and (TiCx)p/Fe. While, under the condition of constant particle content, the elongation of the samples reinforced using TiCx was the best, those reinforced by SiC was the lowest, and those reinforced by (SiC + TiCx) fell in between, which means the plastic response of (SiC + TiCx)p/Fe composites obeyed the rule of mixture. The successful preparation of IMCs based on the hybrid reinforcement mechanism provides an idea for the optimization of IMCs.

RESUMO

Unisexual lineages are commonly considered to be short-lived in the evolutionary process as accumulation of deleterious mutations stated by Muller's ratchet. However, the gynogenetic hexaploid gibel carp (Carassius gibelio) with existence over 0.5 million years has wider ecological distribution and higher genetic diversity than its sexual progenitors, which provides an ideal model to investigate the underlying mechanisms on countering Muller's ratchet in unisexual taxa. Unlike other unisexual lineages, the wild populations of gibel carp contain rare and variable proportions of males (1-26%), which are determined via two strategies including genotypic sex determination and temperature-dependent sex determination. Here, we used a maternal gibel carp from strain F to be mated with a genotypic male from strain A+, a temperature-dependent male from strain A+, and a male from another species common carp (Cyprinus carpio), respectively. When the maternal individual was mated with the genotypic male, a variant of gynogenesis was initiated, along with male occurrence, accumulation of microchromosomes, and creation of genetic diversity in the offspring. When the maternal individual was mated with the temperature-dependent male and common carp, typical gynogenesis was initiated that all the offspring showed the same genetic information as the maternal individual. Subsequently, we found out that the genotypic male nucleus swelled and contacted with the female nucleus after fertilization although it was extruded from the female nucleus eventually, which might be associated with the genetic variation in the offspring. These results reveal that genotypic males play an important role in the creation of genetic diversity in gynogenetic gibel carp, which provides insights into the evolution of unisexual reproduction.

RESUMO

In the present study, we aimed to investigate immune-related signatures and immune infiltration in melanoma. The transcriptome profiling and clinical data of melanoma were downloaded from The Cancer Genome Atlas database, and their matched normal samples were obtained from the Genotype-Tissue Expression database. After merging the genome expression data using Perl, the limma package was used for data normalization. We screened the differentially expressed genes (DEGs) and obtained immune signatures associated with melanoma by an immune-related signature list from the InnateDB database. Univariate Cox regression analysis was used to identify potential prognostic immune genes, and LASSO analysis was used to identify the hub genes. Next, based on the results of multivariate Cox regression analysis, we constructed a risk model for melanoma. We investigated the correlation between risk score and clinical characteristics and overall survival (OS) of patients. Based on the TIMER database, the association between selected immune signatures and immune cell distribution was evaluated. Next, the Wilcoxon rank-sum test was performed using CIBERSORT, which confirmed the differential distribution of immune-infiltrating cells between different risk groups. We obtained a list of 91 differentially expressed immune-related signatures. Functional enrichment analysis indicated that these immune-related DEGs participated in several areas of immune-related crosstalk, including cytokine-cytokine receptor interactions, JAK-STAT signaling pathway, chemokine signaling pathway, and Th17 cell differentiation pathway. A risk model was established based on multivariate Cox analysis results, and Kaplan-Meier analysis was performed. The Kruskal-Wallis test suggested that a high risk score indicated a poorer OS and correlated with higher American Joint Committee on Cancer-TNM (AJCC-TNM) stages and advanced pathological stages (P < 0.01). Furthermore, the association between hub immune signatures and immune cell distribution was evaluated in specific tumor samples. The Wilcoxon rank-sum test was used to estimate immune infiltration density in the two groups, and results showed that the high-risk group exhibited a lower infiltration density, and the dominant immune cells included M0 macrophages (P = 0.023) and activated mast cells (P = 0.005).

RESUMO

Based on the principle of grain refinement caused by the second-phase particles, a phase field model was built to describe the recrystallization process in the ZK60 alloy system with Y added under applied stress between temperatures 573 and 673 K for 140 min duration. The simulation of grain growth with second phase particles and applied stress during annealing process on industrial scale on the condition of real time-space was achieved. Quantitative analysis was carried out and some useful laws were revealed in ZK60 alloy system. The second phase particles had a promoting effect on the grain refinement, however the effect weakened significantly when the content exceeded 1.5%. Our simulation results reveal the existence of a critical range of second phase particle size of 0.3⁻0.4 µm, within which a microstructure of fine grains can be obtained. Applied stress increased the grain coarsening rate significantly when the stress was more than 135 MPa. The critical size of the second phase particles was 0.4⁻0.75 µm when the applied stress was 135 MPa. Finally, a microstructure with a grain size of 11.8⁻13.8 µm on average could be obtained when the second phase particles had a content of 1.5% and a size of 0.4⁻0.75 µm with an applied stress less than 135 Mpa after 30 min annealing at 573 K.

RESUMO

Most vertebrates reproduce sexually, and plastic sex determination mechanisms including genotypic sex determination (GSD) and environmental sex determination (ESD) have been extensively revealed. However, why sex determination mechanisms evolve diversely and how they correlate with diverse reproduction strategies remain largely unclear. Here, we utilize the superiority of a hexaploid gibel carp (Carassius gibelio) that is able to reproduce by unisexual gynogenesis and contains a rare but diverse proportion of males to investigate these puzzles. A total of 2248 hexaploid specimens were collected from 34 geographic wild populations throughout mainland China, in which 24 populations were revealed to contain 186 males with various incidences ranging from 1.2 to 26.5%. Subsequently, the proportion of temperature-dependent sex determination (TSD) was revealed to be positively correlated to average annual temperature in wild populations, and male incidence in lab gynogenetic progenies was demonstrated to increase with the increasing of larval rearing temperature. Meanwhile, extra microchromosomes were confirmed to play genotypic male determination role as previously reported. Thereby, GSD and TSD were found to coexist in gibel carp, and the proportions of GSD were observed to be much higher than that of TSD in sympatric wild populations. Our findings uncover a potential new mechanism in the evolution of sex determination system in polyploid vertebrates with unisexual gynogenesis ability, and also reveal a possible association of sex determination mechanism transition between TSD and GSD and reproduction mode transition between unisexual gynogenesis and bisexual reproduction.

RESUMO

Piper laetispicum is dioecious climbers woody with 10 m tall, which is an endemic species in China. It grows on trees or rocks in forests (100-600 m) in Guangdong and Hainan Province of China. Here, we report and characterize the complete plastid genome sequence of P. laetispicum in an effort to provide genomic resources useful for promoting its conservation. The complete plastome is 161,721 bp in length and contains the typical structure and gene content of angiosperm plastome, including two inverted repeat (IR) regions of 27,125 bp, a large single copy (LSC) region of 89,224 bp and a small single copy (SSC) region of 18,247 bp. The plastome contains 114 genes, consisting of 80 unique protein-coding genes, 30 unique tRNA gene, and four unique rRNA genes. The overall A/T content in the plastome of P. laetispicum is 61.70%. The complete plastome sequence of P. laetispicum will provide a useful resource for the conservation genetics of this species as well as for the phylogenetic studies for Piper.
