RESUMO

Porcine sapelovirus (PSV) is a ubiquitous virus in farmed pigs that is associated with SMEDI syndrome, polioencephalomyelitis, and diarrhea. However, there are few reports on the prevalence and molecular characterization of PSV in Fujian Province, Southern China. In this study, the prevalence of PSV and a poetical combinative strain PSV2020 were characterized using real-time PCR, sequencing, and bioinformatics analysis. As a result, an overall sample prevalence of 30.8% was detected in 260 fecal samples, and a farm prevalence of 76.7% was observed in 30 Fujian pig farms, from 2020 to 2022. Noteably, a high rate of PSV was found in sucking pigs. Bioinformatics analysis showed that the full-length genome of PSV2020 was 7550 bp, and the genetic evolution of its ORF region was closest to the G1 subgroup, which was isolated from Asia and America; the similarity of nucleotides and amino acids to other PSVs was 59.5~88.7% and 51.7~97.0%, respectively. However, VP1 genetic evolution analysis showed a distinct phylogenetic topology from the ORF region; PSV2020 VP1 was closer to the DIAPD5469-10 strain isolated from Italy than strains isolated from Asia and America, which comprise the G1 subgroup based on the ORF region. Amino acid discrepancy analysis illustrated that the PSV2020 VP1 gene inserted twelve additional nucleotides, corresponding to four additional amino acids (STAE) at positions 898-902 AAs. Moreover, a potential recombination signal was observed in the 2A coding region, near the 3' end of VP1, owing to recombination analysis. Additionally, 3D genetic evolutionary analysis showed that all reference strains demonstrated, to some degree, regional conservation. These results suggested that PSV was highly prevalent in Fujian pig farms, and PSV2020, a PSV-1 genotype strain, showed gene diversity and recombination in evolutionary progress. This study also laid a scientific foundation for the investigation of PSV epidemiology, molecular genetic characteristics, and vaccine development.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Some traditional pesticide formulations are inefficient, leading to excessive use and abuse of pesticides, which in turn effects environment. Intelligent release pesticide formulations are ideal for improving pesticide utilization and persistence while reducing environmental pollution. RESULTS: We designed a benzil-modified chitosan oligosaccharide (CO-BZ) to encapsulate avermectin (Ave). Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules are prepared based on a simple interfacial method via cross-linking of CO-BZ with diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI). The Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules have an average particle size of 100 nm and exhibited a responsive release performance for ROS. The cumulative release rate of nanocapsules at 24 h with ROS increased by about 11.4% compared to that without ROS. The Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules displayed good photostability. Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules can penetrate root-knot nematodes more easily and exhibited better nematicidal activity against root-knot nematodes. The pot experiment showed that the control effect of Ave CS at low concentration was 53.31% at the initial stage of application (15 d), while Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules was 63.54%. Under the same conditions, the control effect of Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules on root-knot nematodes was 60.00% after 45 days of application, while Ave EC was only 13.33%. The acute toxicity experiments of earthworms showed that the toxicity of nanocapsules was significantly lower than that of EC. CONCLUSION: The ROS-responsive nanocapsules can improve the utilization of pesticides and non-target biosafety. This modified chitosan oligosaccharide has great potential as a bio stimuli-responsive material, and this simple and convenient method for preparing Ave@CO-BZ nanocapsules provides a direction for the effective utilization of pesticides. © 2023 Society of Chemical Industry.

RESUMO

To compare the pancreatic proteomics and autophagy between Rehmanniae Radix-and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata-treated mice with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). The T2DM mouse model was established by high-fat diet coupled with streptozotocin(STZ, intraperitoneal injection, 100 mg·kg~(-1), once a day for three consecutive days). The mice were then randomly assigned into a control group, low-(5 g·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(15 g·kg~(-1)) Rehmanniae Radix groups, low-(150 mg·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(300 mg·kg~(-1)) catalpol groups, low-(5 g·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(15 g·kg~(-1)) Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata groups, low-(150 mg·kg~(-1)) and high-dose(300 mg·kg~(-1)) 5-hydroxymethyl furfuraldehyde(5-HMF) groups, and a metformin(250 mg·kg~(-1)) group. In addition, a normal group was also set and each group included 8 mice. The pancreas was collected after four weeks of administration and proteomics tools were employed to study the effects of Rehmanniae Radix and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata on protein expression in the pancreas of T2DM mice. The expression levels of proteins involved in autophagy, inflammation, and oxidative stress response in the pancreatic tissues of T2DM mice were determined by western blotting, immunohistochemical assay, and transmission electron microscopy. The results showed that the differential proteins between the model group and Rehmanniae Radix/Rehmanniae Radix Prae-parata group were enriched in 7 KEGG pathways, such as autophagy-animal, which indicated that the 7 pathways may be associated with T2DM. Compared with the control group, drug administration significantly up-regulated the expression levels of beclin1 and phosphorylated mammalian target of rapamycin(p-mTOR)/mTOR and down-regulated those of the inflammation indicators, Toll-like receptor-4(TLR4) and Nod-like receptor protein 3(NLRP3), in the pancreas of T2DM mice, and Rehmanniae Radix showed better performance. In addition, the expression levels of inducible nitric oxide synthase(iNOS), nuclear factor erythroid 2-related factor 2(Nrf2), and heine oxygenase-1(HO-1) in the pancreas of T2DM mice were down-regulated after drug administration, and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata demonstrated better performance. The results indicate that both Rehmanniae Radix and Rehmanniae Radix Praeparata can alleviate the inflammatory symptoms, reduce oxidative stress response, and increase the autophagy level in the pancreas of T2DM mice, while they exert the effect on different autophagy pathways.

RESUMO

Developing an efficient drug delivery system to mitigate the harm caused by root-knot nematodes is crucial. In this study, enzyme-responsive release abamectin nanocapsules (AVB1a NCs) were prepared using 4, 4-diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) and sodium carboxymethyl cellulose as response release factors. The results showed that the average size (D50) of the AVB1a NCs was 352 nm, and the encapsulation efficiency was 92 %. The median lethal concentration (LC50) of AVB1a NCs for Meloidogyne incognita activity was 0.82 mg L-1. Moreover, AVB1a NCs improved the permeability of AVB1a to root-knot nematodes and plant roots and the horizontal and vertical soil mobility. Furthermore, AVB1a NCs greatly reduced the adsorption of AVB1a by the soil compared to AVB1a emulsifiable concentrate (EC), and the effect of the AVB1a NCs on controlling root-knot nematode disease was increased by 36 %. Compared to the AVB1a EC, the pesticide delivery system significantly reduced the acute toxicity to the soil biological earthworms by approximately 16 times that of the AVB1a and had a lower overall impact on the soil microbial communities. This enzyme-responsive pesticide delivery system had a simple preparation method, excellent performance, and high level of safety, and thus has great application potential for plant diseases and insect pests control.

RESUMO

Droplet rebound from hydrophobic leaves is a major factor influencing pesticide utilization. The use of a surfactant is a major strategy to reduce droplet rebound, promoting pesticide deposition on hydrophobic agricultural plant leaves. However, most surfactants known to regulate droplet rebound are either anionic or cationic. In this study, ethoxylated propoxylated 2-ethyl-1-haxanol (EH 6) was identified as a nonionic surfactant that inhibits droplet rebound while promoting the complete spreading of the droplet on hydrophobic leaves. Compared with the widely reported nonionic surfactant Tween 20, EH 6 performs better at concentrations above 0.3%. This phenomenon can be attributed to the rapid migration of EH 6 from the bulk to the newly generated interface, significantly reducing the surface tension. We introduce a simple and effective strategy that can be used to enhance droplet deposition on hydrophobic plant surfaces, which may offer future economic and environmental benefits.

RESUMO

An emerging pseudorabies virus (PRV) variant has been reported on Bartha-K61-vaccinated farms since 2011, causing great economic losses to China's swine-feeding industry. In this study, two vaccines, FJ-2012ΔgE/gI-GEL02 and FJ-2012ΔgE/gI-206VG, were administered to piglets for immune efficacy investigation. Humoral immunity response, clinical signs, survival rate, tissue viral load, and pathology were assessed in piglets. The results showed that both vaccines were effective against the PRV FJ-2012 challenge, the piglets all survived while developing a high level of gB-specific antibody and neutralizing antibody, the virus load in tissue was alleviated, and no clinical PR signs or pathological lesions were displayed. In the unimmunized challenged group, typical clinical signs of pseudorabies were observed, and the piglets all died at 7 days post-challenge. Compared with commercial vaccines, the Bartha-K61 vaccine group could not provide full protection, which might be due to a lower vaccine dose; the inactivated vaccine vPRV* group piglets survived, displaying mild clinical signs. The asterisk denotes inactivation. These results indicate that FJ-2012ΔgE/gI-GEL02 and FJ-2012ΔgE/gI-206VG were effective and could be promising vaccines to control or eradicate the new PRV epidemic in China.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are widely used to improve the efficiency of pesticide applications. Low-volume spraying operations require more efficient deposition of droplets on the target surface. Therefore, pesticide deposition and retention on plant surfaces is a serious challenge for modern precision agriculture. Tank-mix adjuvants have been used to improve spray dilutions performance; however, their effects on the physicochemical properties of spray dilutions, dosage delivery, and pesticide dosage are unclear. RESULTS: Tank-mix adjuvant 8860 significantly improved the physicochemical properties of spray dilutions, inhibited spray droplets rebound, improved the wetting and spreading performance of spray dilutions on wheat leaves, and increased the effective deposition of tebuconazole on wheat leaves. Even when its dosage was reduced by one-third, the spray solution still showed excellent disease control and effective deposition of the active ingredient on wheat leaves. CONCLUSION: The use of appropriate tank-mix adjuvants in UAV-based plant protection for wheat can significantly improve the performance of spray dilutions, increase the efficiency of pesticide dosage delivery, and improve disease control. These adjuvants can also help reduce the pesticide use while ensuring their effectiveness. © 2022 Society of Chemical Industry.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been developed to improve the efficiency of pesticide applications, and they are now widely utilized in Asia. The deposition and retention periods of pesticides on plant surfaces present serious challenges for modern precision agriculture, as these factors directly affect pesticide bioavailability, efficacy, and loss. Tank-mix adjuvants have been utilized to improve pesticide performance, but their effects on physicochemical properties and dosage delivery at low dilutions are not well understood. RESULTS: We found that different tank-mix adjuvants affected droplet impact behavior, the wetting and spreading of spray dilutions, and pesticide deposition on rice leaves by changing the physicochemical properties of spray dilutions. The adjuvant methyl oxirane polymer with oxirane, mono (3,5,5-trimethylhexyl) ether (adjuvant c) significantly reduced the dynamic surface tension of the spray dilution and inhibited the rebound of large droplets (D0  = 2 ± 0.2 mm) and spray droplets (0.2 MPa with a LU-01 nozzle) on rice leaves, and improved the wetting and spreading performance of the spray dilution on rice leaves. Field tests showed that adjuvant c could significantly increase the deposition of chlorantraniliprole on rice leaves. CONCLUSION: Overall, the use of appropriate tank-mix adjuvants at low dilution ratios for UAV application in paddy fields can improve the performance of spray dilutions, increase the effective deposition and wetting spread of pesticides on rice leaves, further reduce the dosage of pesticide products and improve pesticide utilization. © 2022 Society of Chemical Industry.

RESUMO

Background: Our previous studies have reported that polycomb chromobox 4 (CBX4) has a potential promoting hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) angiogenesis and tumor progression. However, it is unclear whether genetic single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in this gene are associated with HCC prognosis. Methods: We conducted a hospital-based two-phase study, including 598 patients with pathologically diagnosed HCC for the SNPs screening phase and 328 HCC patients for clinic significance validating phase, to elucidate the association between SNPs of CBX4 and the survival of HCC. The genotypes of CBX4 were tested using the SNaPshot method and the effects of CBX4 SNPs on HCC prognosis were analyzed using Kaplan-Meier survival model and Cox regression model. Results: A total of 33 SNPs were selected and genotyped in this study. We found the rs77447679 SNP was significantly related to survival in individuals with HCC. Specifically, survival was noticeably decreased in HCC patients who have mutant homozygote AA of this SNP (rs77447679-AA) compared with these with wild type (rs77447679-CC). An additive effect of rs77447679 polymorphism and aflatoxin B1 exposure level was also observed in the survival analyses of HCC cases. Furthermore, this SNP was positively correlated not only with tumor size, grade, stage, and microvessel density (correlation coefficient r = 0.17, 0.23, 0.23, and 0.42, respectively), but also with increasing CBX4 expression (r = 0.57). Interestingly, the mutant genotypes of rs77447679 can significantly improve the therapeutic response of HCC cases on post-operative adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization (pa-TACE), but wild type not. Conclusions: These data suggest that genetic polymorphisms in the CBX4 may be a prognostic biomarker for HCC, and the rs77447679 SNP is such a potential candidate.

RESUMO

Previous studies have shown that single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of a disintegrin and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif 4 (ADAMTS4) may involve in the pathogenesis of some diseases. However, it is not clear whether they are associated with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). A hospital-based case-control study, including 862 cases with HCC and 1120 controls, was conducted to assess the effects of 258 SNPs in the coding regions of ADAMTS4 on HCC risk and prognosis. We found that six SNPs in ADAMTS4 were differential distribution between cases and controls via the primary screening analyses; however, only rs538321148 and rs1014509103 polymorphisms were further identified to modify the risk of HCC (odds ratio: 2.73 and 2.95; 95% confidence interval, 2.28-3.29 and 2.43-3.58; P-value, 5.73 × 10-27 and 1.36 × 10-27 , respectively). Significant interaction between these two SNPs and two known causes of hepatitis B virus and aflatoxin B1 were also observed. Furthermore, rs538321148 and rs1014509103 polymorphisms were associated not only with clinicopathological features of tumor such as tumor stage and grade, microvessel density, and vessel metastasis, but with poor overall survival. Additionally, these SNPs significantly downregulated ADATMS4 expression in tumor tissues. These data suggest that SNPs in the coding region of ADAMTS4, such as rs538321148 and rs1014509103, may be potential biomarkers for predicting HCC risk and prognosis.

RESUMO

We isolated an influenza strain named A/Swine/Fujian/F1/2010 (H1N2) from a pig suspected to be infected with swine flu. The results of electron microscopy, hemagglutination (HA) assay, hemagglutination inhibition (HI) assay, and whole genome sequencing analysis suggest that it was a reassortant virus of swine (H1N1 subtype), human (H3N2 subtype), and avian influenza viruses. To further study the genetic evolution of A/Swine/Fujian/F1/2010 (H1N2), we cloned its whole genome fragments using RT-PCR and performed phylogenetic analysis on the eight genes. As a result, the nucleotide sequences of HA, NA, PB1, PA, PB2, NP, M, and NS gene are similar to those of A/Swine/Shanghai/1/2007(H1N2) with identity of 98.9%, 98.9%, 99.0%, 98.6%, 99.0%, 98.9%, 99.3%, and 99.3%, respectively. Similar to A/Swine/Shanghai/1/2007(H1N2), we inferred that the HA, NP, M, and NS gene fragments of A/Swine/Fujian/F1/2010 (H1N2) strain were derived from classical swine influenza H3N2 subtype, NA and PB1 were derived from human swine influenza H3N2 subtype, and PB2 and PA genes were derived from avian influenza virus. This further validates the role of swine as a "mixer" for influenza viruses.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: The serum microRNAs have been reported as potential biomarkers for hepatitis virus-related hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC); however, their role in aflatoxin B1 (AFB1)-related HCC to has not yet been evaluated. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We conducted a case-control study, including 366 HCC cases and 662 controls without any evidence of tumors, to identify and assess diagnostic and prognostic potential of serum microRNAs for AFB1-related HCC. The sensitivity, specificity, and area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUC) were used to elucidate diagnostic performance, and to compare the microRNAs with α-fetoprotein (AFP) at a cutoff of 20 ng/mL (AFP20) and 400 ng/mL (AFP400). RESULTS: We found 8 differentially expressed microRNAs via the microRNA array analysis; however, only microRNA-4651 was further identified to detect AFB1-positive HCC but not AFB1-negative HCC. For AFB1-positive HCC, microRNA-4651 showed higher accuracy and sensitivity than AFP400 (AUC, 0.85 vs. 0.72; Sensitivity, 78.1% vs. 43.0%). Compared to AFP20, microRNA-4651 exhibited higher potential in identifying small-size (0.68 vs. 0.84 for AUC and 36.7% vs. 75.5% for sensitivity, respectively) and early-stage HCC (0.69 vs. 0.84 for AUC and 38.7% vs. 75.7% for sensitivity, respectively). Additionally, miR-4651 was also associated with HCC prognosis (hazard risk value, 2.67 for overall survival and 3.62 for tumor recurrence analysis). CONCLUSIONS: These data suggest that serum microRNA-4651 may be a useful marker for HCC diagnosis and prognosis, especially AFB1-positive cases.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Our previous investigations have shown that the variants of X-ray repair complementing 4 (XRCC4) may be involved in hepatocellular carcinoma (hepatocarcinoma) tumorigenesis. This study aimed to investigate the possible prognostic significance of XRCC4 expression for hepatocarcinoma patients and possible value for the selection of transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) treatment. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We conducted a hospital-based retrospective analysis (including 421 hepatocarcinoma cases) to analyze the effects of XRCC4 on hepatocarcinoma prognosis and TACE. The levels of XRCC4 expression were tested using immunohistochemistry. The sensitivity of cancer cells to anti-cancer drug doxorubicin was evaluated using the half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50). RESULTS: XRCC4 expression was significantly correlated with pathological features including tumor stage, liver cirrhosis, and micro-vessel density. XRCC4 expression was an independent prognostic factor of hepatocarcinoma, and TACE treatments had no effects on prognosis of hepatocarcinoma patients with high XRCC4 expression. More intriguingly, TACE improved the prognosis of hepatocarcinoma patients with low XRCC4 expression. Functionally, XRCC4 overexpression increased while XRCC4 knockdown reduced the IC50 of cancer cells to doxorubicin. CONCLUSIONS: These results suggest that XRCC4 may be an independent prognostic factor for hepatocarcinoma patients, and that decreasing XRCC4 expression may be beneficial for post-operative adjuvant TACE treatment in hepatocarcinoma.

RESUMO

The outbreaks of pseudorabies have been frequently reported in Bartha-K61-vaccinated farms in China since 2011. To study the pathogenicity and evolution of the circulating pseudorabies viruses in Fujian Province, mainland China, we isolated and sequenced the whole genome of a wild-type pseudorabies virus strain named "FJ-2012." We then conducted a few downstream bioinformatics analyses including phylogenetic analysis and pathogenic analysis and used the virus to infect 6 pseudorabies virus-free piglets. FJ-2012-infected piglets developed symptoms like high body temperature and central nervous system disorders and had high mortality rate. In addition, we identified typical micropathological changes such as multiple gross lesions in infected piglets through pathological analysis and conclude that the FJ-2012 genome is significantly different from known pseudorabies viruses, in which insertions, deletions, and substitutions are observed in multiple immune and virulence genes. In summary, this study shed lights on the molecular basis of the prevalence and pathology of the pseudorabies virus strain FJ-2012. The genome of FJ-2012 could be used as a reference to study the evolution of pseudorabies viruses, which is critical to the vaccine development of new emerging pseudorabies viruses.

RESUMO

Our recent investigation has shown that the variables of microRNA-1268a may involve in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tumorigenesis. Here, we attempted to identify the prognostic significance of microRNA-1268a expression in tumor tissues by a retrospective analysis in 411 patients with HCC, and analyze its effects on post-operative adjuvant transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) improving HCC prognosis. All cases received tumor resection or tumor resection plus post-operative adjuvant TACE as an initial treatment. Logistical regression analysis exhibited that microRNA-1268a expression was significantly correlated with tumor stage, tumor grade, tumor size, and microvessel density. Cox regression analysis showed that microRNA-1268a expression was an independent prognostic factor for HCC, and TACE treatment had no effects on prognosis of HCC patients with high microRNA-1268a expression. More intriguingly, TACE improved the prognosis of HCC patients with low microRNA-1268a expression. Functionally, overexpression of microRNA-1268a inhibited while its inhibitor enhanced doxorubicin-induced the death of cancer cells. These results suggest that microRNA-1268a may be an independent prognostic factor for HCC patients, and that decreasing microRNA-1268a expression may be beneficial for post-operative adjuvant TACE treatment in HCC.

RESUMO

In view of that there is no report of west Nile virus infection cases in our country, evaluation the self-prepared anti-WNV-IgG diagnostic ELISA kit should be employed with the establishment of the serum sample panel collected from the entry personnel. All individuals of entry personnel were traveled from epidemic area of infectious west Nile disease. In our study, the serum samples were both detected by self-prepared anti-WNV-IgG diagnostic ELISA kit and the FDA certified kits ,which are FOCUS West Nile Virus IgG Dxselect and Panbio Dengue IgG Capture ELISA kits. The self-prepared kit and FDA certified kits were compared and assessed simultaneously. Furthermore, the specificity, repeatability and stability of the kits were also evaluated. The results indicated that no significant difference of detective rates (35. 6% for self-prepared kit vs. 32.5% for FOCUS kit, χ2 = 3. 05, P > 0.05) and good consistency (Kappa = 0.8372) between the self-prepared kit and FDA certified kits. Also, the positive coincidence rate, the negative coincidence rate and the total coincidence rate were calculated as 91.18%, 95.34% and 92.66%, respectively. The laboratory self-developed kit presented similar quality as the counterpart kits with FDA certificate. The development of our self-prepared anti-WNV-IgG diagnostic ELISA kit will provide technical support for the prevention and control of west Nile virus entry.

RESUMO

The stability of pesticide SC suspension was studied by Turbiscan Lab Analyzer. The Turbiscan Lab can be used to analyze the concentrated colloids, dispersant samples, and the instable mechanism of the suspension system in the initial stage. The Turbiscan Lab can also determine the thickness changes of sedimentation with the time, the settling rate of particles with time, and the particle size changes with time. In the present work, the different dispersant GY-D10, NNO, Morwet D-425, TERSPERSE 2425 were used to prepare the imidacloprid 350 g x L(-1) suspension concentrate in the same preparation condition. By measuring the light intensity of backscattering light of the suspension of imidacloprid 350 g x L(-1) SC with time, the dynamic sedimentation processes and the particle size changes which reflect the stability of SC suspension were studied. The results showed that when the contents of GY-D10 dispersant were 4 wt% in the SC, the stability of SC suspension system was relatively good.

RESUMO

The authors studied the electronic condition of comb-shaped copolymer of polycarboxylic acid type hyperdispersant adsorbed on the surface of atrazine particles with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The thickness of the adsorption was calculated. The results suggested that after adsorbing the dispersant, the peak intensity of N(1s) and Cl(2p) of the interface of atrazine particle decreased sharply, while the absorption of Cl(2s) almost diminished. Meanwhile the peak intensity of C(1s), O (1s) and Na(1s) increased obviously owing to the second emission of C, O, and Na from the dispersant molecule. After adsorption, the dispersant formed a favorable protecting membrane on the surface of atrazine particles whose thickness was about 24 nm. The authors also studied the surface state of the sample with scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results of which showed that after adsorption, the atrazine particles became smaller and their dispersion was in good order. These changes allowed the atrazine particle to have a stable suspension property. This study provided significant information for the application of environment friendly atrazine suspension concentrate.

RESUMO

The main methods in performing the study of the adsorption properties of hyperdispersant on atrazine surface were fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and FT-Raman spectrometer (FT-Raman), and the results suggested that the hydrogen bond force was the main force combining the surface of atrazine particles and the dispersant. And it also promoted the adsorption of dispersant on atrazine particles. However, the information of what accurate quantity of the dispersant adsorbed on the surface of atrazine should a successful suspension ability of the suspension concentrate acquire is still not available. And researches on this question still need to be done with the help of quantized spectroscopy method. The result of this study provided a theoretical foundation for the development of stable atrazine suspension concentrate and the spectroscopy quantitative analysis of it. This result provided significant information for the application of atrazine suspension concentrate at the same time.

RESUMO

A series of novel 12-(aryloxyacyloxyimino)-1,15-pentadecanlactone derivatives (3) were synthesized, and their structures including configuration of C=N bond were confirmed by (1)H NMR, elemental analysis and X-ray diffraction analysis. The bioassay showed that some of them exhibited excellent herbicidal activity against Amaranthus tricolor L. The activity of compounds 3 except compounds 3A1-2 was much higher than the commercial herbicide 2,4-D and the activity of about half of compounds 3 was comparable to the commercial herbicide tribenuron-methyl. The further bioassay showed that the representative of compounds 3, 3A1-12, exhibited excellent herbicidal activity not only against dicotyledon, such as Amaranthus tricolor L., Cucumis sativus L., Glycine max L., and Phaseolus radiatus L., but also against monocotyledon, such as Zea mays L. and Oryza sativa L.
