RESUMO

Hydroxychloroquine sulfate (HCQ) is extensively utilized due to its numerous therapeutic effects. Because of its properties of high solubility, persistence, bioaccumulation, and biotoxicity, HCQ can potentially affect water bodies and human health. In this study, the LaCo0.95Mo0.05O3-CeO2 material was successfully prepared by the sol-gel process, and it was applied to the experiment of degrading HCQ by activating peroxymonosulfate (PMS). The results of characterization analysis showed that LaCo0.95Mo0.05O3-CeO2 material had good stability, and the problem of particle agglomeration had been solved to some extent. Compared with LaCo0.95Mo0.05O3 material, it had a larger specific surface area and more oxygen vacancies, which was helpful to improve the catalytic activity for PMS. Under optimal conditions, the LaCo0.95Mo0.05O3-CeO2/PMS system degraded 95.5 % of HCQ in 10 min. The singlet oxygen, superoxide radicals, and sulfate radicals were the main radicals for HCQ degradation. The addition of Mo6+/Mo4+ and Ce4+/Ce3+ promoted the redox cycle of Co3+/Co2+ and enhanced the degradation rate of HCQ. Based on density functional theory and experimental analysis, three HCQ degradation pathways were proposed. The analysis of T.E.S.T software showed that the toxicity of HCQ was obviously reduced after degradation. The LaCo0.95Mo0.05O3-CeO2/PMS system displayed excellent reusability and the ability to remove pollutants in a wide range of real-world aqueous environments, with the ability to treat a wide range of pharmaceutical wastewater. In summary, this study provides some ideas for developing heterogeneous catalysts for advanced oxidation systems and provide an efficient, simple, and low-cost method for treating pharmaceutical wastewater that has good practical application potential.

RESUMO

The common carp (Cyprinus carpio) is one of the most important aquaculture species in China, known for its remarkable adaptability and nutritional profile. However, the specific molecular response mechanisms regulating the nutritional deposition of carp remain inadequately elucidated. This study conducted a comprehensive analysis of muscle nutritional content and transcriptome data from liver and muscle tissues of three distinct carp varieties. The aim was to elucidate the key genes and signaling pathways that regulate muscle nutritional composition in carp. The findings revealed that FFRC carp (FFRC) exhibited significantly higher levels of crude fat, total n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids, and total n-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids in muscle tissue compared to Ying carp (YC) and Huanghe carp (HC) (p < 0.05). Transcriptomic analyses correlated these elevated levels with a marked upregulation of genes involved in the activation and transportation of fatty acid (fabp7, acsl5, acsbg2) as well as biosynthesis and elongation of long-chain unsaturated fatty acids (elovl2, fads2) within the liver. Furthermore, the flavor amino acid, essential amino acids, and crude protein content in the muscle of HC were significantly higher than in FFRC and YC (p < 0.05). Transcriptomic analyses indicated that this was associated with significant changes in the expression of genes related to amino acid metabolism (asns, alt, ldha, glul, setd, prodh, l3hypdh, hoga1) within their muscle tissue. This research provides a theoretical foundation for the precise modulation of the muscle nutritional composition in carp.

RESUMO

With the continuous expansion of the lithium-ion battery market, addressing the critical issues of stable cycling and low-temperature operation of lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) has become an urgent necessity. The high anisotropy and poor kinetics of pristine graphite in LIBs contribute to the formation of precipitated lithium dendrites, especially during rapid charging or low-temperature operation. In this study, we design a graphite coated with amorphous carbon (GC) through the Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) method. The coated carbon layer at the graphite interface exhibits enhanced reaction kinetics and expanded lithium-ion diffusion pathways, thereby reduction in polarization effectively alleviates the risk of lithium precipitation during rapid charging and low-temperature operation. The pouch cell incorporating GC‖LiCoO2 exhibits exceptional durability, retaining 87% of its capacity even after 1200 cycles at a high charge/discharge rate of 5C/5C. Remarkably, at -20 °C, the GC-2 maintains a specific capacity of 163 mA h g-1 at 0.5C, higher than that of pristine graphite (65 mA h g-1). Even at -40 °C, the GC-2‖LiCoO2 pouch cell still shows excellent capacity retention. This design realizes the practical application of graphite anode in extreme environments, and have a promising prospect of application.

RESUMO

Metronidazole (MNZ), a commonly used antibiotic, poses risks to water bodies and human health due to its potential carcinogenic, mutagenic, and genotoxic effects. In this study, mesoporous cobalt-manganese layered double hydroxides (CoxMny-LDH) with abundant oxygen vacancies (Ov) were successfully synthesized using the co-precipitation method and used to activate calcium sulfite (CaSO3) with slight soluble in water for MNZ degradation. The characterization results revealed that Co2Mn-LDH had higher specific areas and exhibited good crystallinity. Co2Mn-LDH/CaSO3 exhibited the best catalytic performance under optimal conditions, achieving a remarkable MNZ degradation efficiency of up to 98.1 % in only 8 min. Quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) tests showed that SO4•- and 1O2 played pivotal roles in the MNZ degradation process by activated CaSO3, while the redox cycles of Co2+/Co3+ and Mn3+/Mn4+ on the catalyst surface accelerated electron transfer, promoting radical generation. Three MNZ degradation routes were put forward based on the density functional theory (DFT) and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometer (LC-MS) analysis. Meanwhile, the toxicity analysis result demonstrated that the toxicity of intermediates post-catalytic reaction was decreased. Furthermore, the Co2Mn-LDH/CaSO3 system displayed excellent stability, reusability, and anti-interference capability, and achieved a comparably high removal efficiency across various organic pollutant water bodies. This study provides valuable insights into the development and optimization of effective heterogeneous catalysts for treating antibiotic-contaminated wastewater.

RESUMO

Difenoconazole has a widespread agricultural use to control fungal diseases in crops, including rice. In edge-of-field surface waters the residues of this lipophilic fungicide may be toxic to both pelagic and benthic organisms. To allow an effect assessment we mined the regulatory and open literature for aquatic toxicity data. Since published sediment toxicity data were scarce we conducted 28 d sediment-spiked toxicity test with 8 species of benthic macroinvertebrates. Ecotoxicological threshold levels for effects were assessed by applying the species sensitivity distribution approach. Based on short-term L(E)C50's for aquatic organisms from water-only tests an acute Hazardous Concentration to 5% of the species (HC5) of 100 µg difenoconazole/L was obtained, while the HC5 based on chronic NOEC values was a factor of 104 lower (0.96 µg difenoconazole/L). For benthic macroinvertebrates the chronic HC5, based on 28d-L(E)C10 values, was 0.82 mg difenoconazole/kg dry weight sediment. To allow a risk assessment for water- and sediment-dwelling organisms, exposure concentrations were predicted for the water and sediment compartment of an edge-of-field pond bordering rice paddies treated with difenoconazole using the Chinese Top-Rice modelling approach, the Chinese Nanchang exposure scenario and the Equilibrium Partitioning theory. It appeared that in the vast majority of the 20 climate years simulated, potential risks to aquatic and sediment organisms cannot be excluded. Although the HC5 values based on laboratory toxicity data provide one line of evidence only, our evaluation suggests population- and community-level effects on these organisms due to chronic risks in particular.

RESUMO

Carbon nanotubes supported cobalt nickel sulphide nanoparticles (nano-NiCo2S4@CNTs) were successfully prepared by a hydrothermal method as heterogeneous catalyst which can be used as an activator of peroxymonosulphate (PMS) for the degradation of chloroquine phosphate (CQP). Based on characterisation techniques, the prepared catalyst has excellent surface properties and structural stability. When different concentrations of CQP were treated with 0.2 g/L nano-NiCo2S4@CNTs and 1.0 mM PMS, the highest degradation rate could reach 99.86% after 30 min. Under the interference of pH, common anions and humic acid in the water environment, the reaction system can still achieve high degradation efficiency, showing excellent anti-interference ability and practical applicability. Furthermore, in the nano-NiCo2S4@CNTs/PMS system, according to the identification results of reactive oxygen species, the free radical and non-free radical pathway are responsible for the degradation of CQP, and the PMS mechanism activation was comprehensively proposed. Twelve intermediate products were detected in the degradation process, and the possible degradation pathways of CQP were proposed. This toxicity analysis demonstrates that the intermediate products formed during CQP degradation pose lower environmental risks compared to the original pollutant. In addition, after using the catalyst four cycles, the removal efficiency of CQP remains above 80%, indicating the excellent reusability and low metal ion leaching characteristics. Therefore, the nano-NiCo2S4@CNTs synthesised in this research has broad application prospects in activating PMS for wastewater treatment.

RESUMO

Poor visibility has a significant impact on road safety and can even lead to traffic accidents. The traditional means of visibility monitoring no longer meet the current needs in terms of temporal and spatial accuracy. In this work, we propose a novel deep network architecture for estimating the visibility directly from highway surveillance images. Specifically, we employ several image feature extraction methods to extract detailed structural, spectral, and scene depth features from the images. Next, we design a multi-scale fusion network to adaptively extract and fuse vital features for the purpose of estimating visibility. Furthermore, we create a real-scene dataset for model learning and performance evaluation. Our experiments demonstrate the superiority of our proposed method to the existing methods.

RESUMO

In this study, cobalt copper-layered double hydroxides (CoCu-LDHs) were prepared by coprecipitation as catalysts to activate CaSO3 for metronidazole (MNZ) degradation. This is the first report on layered double hydroxides activating sulfite for the degradation of organic pollutants. Meanwhile, to address the issue of self-quenching reactions readily occurring in conventional sulfite advanced oxidation systems and resulting in low oxidant efficiency, CaSO3 with slightly soluble in water was used instead of commonly used Na2SO3, to improve the limitations of traditional systems. The results showed that in the CoCu-LDHs/CaSO3 system, the degradation rate of MNZ reached 98.7% within 5 min, representing a 23.0% increase compared to the CoCu-LDHs/Na2SO3 system. Owing to the excellent catalytic performance exhibited by CoCu-LDHs, characterizations including XRD, FTIR, SEM, TEM, BET and XPS were carried out to investigate this further. The results confirmed the successful synthesis of CoCu-LDH, and the activation mechanism study revealed that Co and Cu were considered to the main elements in activating CaSO3, demonstrating good synergistic effects. In addition, the oxygen vacancies on the catalyst surface also played a positive role in generating radicals and promoting electron transfer. Subsequently, the effects of Co/Cu ratio, catalyst dosage, oxidant concentration, pollutant concentration, pH and coexisting substances on MNZ degradation were investigated. Additionally, based on the LC-MS analysis of degradation products and toxicity tests, MNZ was transformed into different intermediates with low toxicity through four pathways, eventually mineralizing into inorganic small molecules. After six cycles, the MNZ degradation rate still reached 82.1%, exhibiting excellent stability and recyclability. In general, this study provides new ideas for activating sulfite, while providing theoretical support for subsequent research on sulfite advanced oxidation system.

RESUMO

Gadolinium is a soluble neutron poison for ensuring criticality safety of nuclear facility. A neutron induced gamma activation device was developed for the on-line measurement of gadolinium. The experimental device consisted of an 241Am-Be neutron source, six 3He detectors and a liquid scintillation detector. The size of sample container was optimized by using Monte Carlo simulations. Aqueous sample containing gadolinium nitrate were conducted with the device to obtain the calibration curve, and neutron self-shielding effect was also studied to correct the non-linear response. The results showed the minimum detectable concentration (MDC) of gadolinium was 0.426 mg/L. Two test samples were conducted to evaluate the performance of the device. The results demonstrated that the discrepancies were within 10%, which indicate the developed system can be successfully used for on-line monitoring of gadolinium.

RESUMO

Objectives: To describe hospital spending and length of stay for mental disorders in Hunan, China. Methods: We extracted hospital care data for Hunan province from the Chinese National Health Statistics Network Reporting System. Patients with mental disorders (ICD-10 codes: F00 to F99) as the principal diagnosis and hospitalized between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2019 were included. We retrieved information on age, sex, number of comorbidities, diagnosis, level of hospital, hospital costs, date of admission and discharge, length of stay (LOS), and method of payment of eligible participants. Spending at the provincial level, and spending and LOS at the individual level were described. Quantile regression and linear regression were conducted to investigate factors for hospital cost and LOS for major mental disorders. Results: The 2019 annual spending on mental disorders in Hunan province was 160 million US dollars, and 71.7% was paid by insurance. The annual spending on schizophrenia was 84 million dollars, contributing to a primary burden of mental disorders. The median spending for mental disorders was $1,085 per patient, and the median hospital stay was 22 days. The study identified several significant factors associated with hospital cost and LOS, including age, sex, comorbidity, and level of the hospital. In particular, a higher level of the hospital was associated with a higher hospital spending but a shorter LOS. Women with schizophrenia had a comparable hospital spending but a significantly shorter LOS than men with schizophrenia. Conclusion: Hospitalization spending for patients with mental disorders is substantial. Schizophrenia is the major burden of hospitalization for mental disorders. While patients treated at a higher level of hospital had higher spending, they stayed shorter in these hospitals.

RESUMO

Herein, mesoporous carbon-anchored cobalt ferrite nanocomposites (nano-CoFe2O4@MC) were fabricated using a hydrothermal method for application as heterogeneous catalysts to activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS), in order to solve the problems of low activation performance and secondary pollution caused by the inter-particle agglomeration, metal ion leaching, and difficult recovery of nano metal catalysts. Analysis techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, BET, FTIR, VSM, TGA, and Raman spectroscopy indicated that the prepared nanocomposites have excellent surface properties, structural stability, and magnetic properties. The performance of nano-CoFe2O4@MC for Congo red (CR) degradation was evaluated by comparison with other treatment systems and study of the influence of experimental parameters, including the anchoring ratios, catalyst dosage, PMS concentration, initial pH, CR concentration, coexisting anions, and humic acid. Both radical and nonradical pathways were observed in the activation process of PMS by nano-CoFe2O4@MC. The analysis results of the element composition and ionic state of the catalyst show that the redox cycle of two ion pairs, Co3+/Co2+ and Fe2+/Fe3+, could enhance the multipath electron transfer on the catalyst surface to promote the generation of reactive oxygen species. Identification of the intermediate products revealed CR was transformed into 12 intermediates through two branch pathways in the nano-CoFe2O4@MC/PMS system. After five cycles of use, the catalytic efficiency of the catalyst did not decrease significantly. Nanocomposites with high catalytic performance, stability, recyclability, and a low ion leaching rate have broad application prospects in the treatment of antibiotic wastewater.

RESUMO

Neonicotinoids (NEOs) are a class of insecticides that have high insecticidal activity and are extensively used worldwide. However, increasing evidence suggests their long-term residues in the environment and toxic effects on nontarget organisms. NEO residues are frequently detected in water and consequently have created increasing levels of pollution and pose significant risks to humans. Many studies have focused on NEO concentrations in water; however, few studies have focused on global systematic reviews or meta-analyses of NEO concentrations in water. The purpose of this review is to conduct a meta-analysis on the concentration of NEOs in global waters based on published detections from several countries to extend knowledge on the application of NEOs. In the present study, 43 published papers from 10 countries were indexed for a meta-analysis of the global NEO distribution in water. Most of these studies focus on the intensive agricultural area, such as eastern Asia and North America. The order of mean concentrations is identified as imidacloprid (119.542 ± 15.656 ng L-1) > nitenpyram (88.076 ± 27.144 ng L-1) > thiamethoxam (59.752 ± 9.068 ng L-1) > dinotefuran (31.086 ± 9.275 ng L-1) > imidaclothiz (24.542 ± 2.906 ng L-1) > acetamiprid (23.360 ± 4.015 ng L-1) > thiacloprid (11.493 ± 5.095 ng L-1). Moreover, the relationships between NEO concentrations and some environmental factors are analyzed. NEO concentrations increase with temperature, oxidation-reduction potential, and the percentage of cultivated crops but decrease with stream discharge, pH, dissolved oxygen, and precipitation. NEO concentrations show no significant relations to turbidity and conductivity.

RESUMO

It is unknown how hydrophobic organic contaminants (HOCs) are distributed and how they affect the environment in high-fat nuts and their planted soil. The profile of HOCs in walnut/soil system was investigated in this study. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and organochlorine pesticides (OCPs) were found in walnuts at concentrations of 0.67, 127, and 116 µg/kg, respectively. The target hazard quotients (THQ) of 17 PCBs, 16 PAHs, and 21 OCPs from walnut consumption by human were 0.06, 0.01, and 0.11, respectively. The highest concentrations of HOC in the soil were found in Nap and toxaphene, with concentrations of 2580 and 902 µg/kg, respectively. Bioaccumulation factors (BAF) and biota-sediment accumulation factors (BSAF) in walnuts were ranged from <0.01 to 7.04 and <0.01 to 3.83, respectively. Concentrations of most individual HOCs in soil samples were significantly correlated with soil organic matter (SOM) (p < 0.01) and minerals (p < 0.01), with maximum correlation coefficients of 0.70 (OM-PCB81) and -0.84 (P-BaP). According to this study, high-fat walnuts do not have a high bioaccumulation of HOCs from soil, and the risk of consumption is within the safe range.

RESUMO

Environmental bisphenol F (BPF) has a cyclic endocrine disruption effect, seriously threatening animal and human health. It is frequently detected in environmental samples worldwide. For BPF remediation, biological methods are more environmentally friendly than physicochemical methods. White-rot fungi have been increasingly studied due to their potential capability to degrade environmental pollutants. Phanerochaete sordida YK-624 has been shown to degrade BPF by ligninolytic enzymes under ligninolytic conditions. In the present study, degradation of BPF under non-ligninolytic conditions (no production of ligninolytic enzymes) was investigated. Our results showed that BPF could be completely removed after 7-d incubation. A metabolite of BPF, 4,4'-dihydroxybenzophenone (DHBP) was identified by mass spectrometry and nuclear magnetic resonance, and DHBP was further degraded by this fungus to form 4-hydroxyphenyl 4-hydroxybenzoate (HPHB). DHBP and HPHB were the intermediate metabolites of BPF and would be further degraded by P. sordida YK-624. We also found that cytochrome P450s played an important role in BPF degradation. Additionally, transcriptomic analysis further supported the involvement of these enzymes in the action of BPF degradation. Therefore, BPF is transformed to DHBP and then to HPHB likely oxidized by cytochrome P450s in P. sordida YK-624. Furthermore, the toxicological studies demonstrated that the order of endocrine-disrupting activity for BPF and its metabolites was HPHB > BPF > DHBP. KEY POINTS: • White-rot fungus Phanerochaete sordida YK-624 could degrade BPF. • Cytochrome P450s were involved in the BPF degradation. • The order of endocrine disrupting activity was: HPHB > BPF > DHBP.

RESUMO

Magnetic CuFe2O4 nanoparticles were successfully synthesized with a coprecipitation method at 500 °C calcination temperature, and were utilized to degrade levofloxacin (LEV) as a peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activator. The structure and composition of the nanocatalyst were characterized by a series of methods, including scanning electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometer and thermogravimetric analysis. The effects of the PMS concentration, the catalyst dosage, the LEV initial concentration, the pH value and the inorganic anions on the LEV degradation were also explored. The results revealed that the designed CuFe2O4/PMS system had high activity and excellent stability in the complex conditions. The degradation efficiency of LEV still reached above 80% after four recycles of CuFe2O4 catalyst. The reactive species quenching experiments and electron paramagnetic resonance analysis suggested the existence of superoxide radicals, single oxygen, hydroxy radicals and sulfate radicals, and the first two were dominant radical oxygen species. Based on the mechanism analyses, the efficient degradation of LEV was probably due to the continuous generation of reactive species under the condition of Fe(III)/Fe(II) and Cu(II)/Cu(I) redox cycles. The research provided a reasonable reference for the PMS activation mechanism-based spinel-type ferrite catalysis.

RESUMO

Tetracycline (TC) is a typical ecotoxic antibiotic, which easily causes bacterial resistance. Therefore, it is necessary to remove TC from the water environment. In recent years, advanced oxidation processes (AOPs) rely on the use of highly reactive oxidizing sulfate radical which is turning into an increasingly popular as a tool of the removal of TC. In this study, cobalt-doped pomelo peel carbon composite (Co-PPCC) was prepared by the impregnation coprecipitation method to activate peroxymonosulfate (PMS) to remove TC. SEM, BET, XRD, FTIR, XPS, TGA, and other analytical techniques indicated that a carbon composite catalyst with excellent performance has been successfully prepared. TC was removed by the synergistic effect of adsorption and catalytic degradation processes. The adsorption capacity was limited (only approximately 20% within 60 min) and tending to saturation, which indicated that the removal of TC in the Co-PPCC/PMS system was mainly due to oxidative degradation. The influence of the Co-PPCC and PMS dosage, initial TC concentration, initial pH values, and coexisting anions on the removal efficiency of TC was investigated. When the Co-PPCC catalyst dosage was 1 g/L, PMS concentration was 2 g/L, and pH value was 11, the removal efficiency of TC with a concentration of 50 mg/L reached 99% within 60 min. Free radical quenching experiment and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) analysis indicated that the free radical and non-radical degradation processes exist in the Co-PPCC/PMS/TC system. The main degradation products and the possible transformation pathways of TC were explored by LC-MS. In addition, after four cycles of Co-PPCC tests, the removal efficiency of TC can reach 64%. This study provides a new method to reuse abandoned pomelo peels and synthesize an economical and environmentally friendly catalyst for activating peroxymonosulfate to remove TC antibiotics in water.

RESUMO

In recent years, white rot fungi (WRFs) have received tremendous attention as a biotechnological tool for environmental pollution control. In order to systematically and comprehensively describe the progress, trends, and hotspots of WRF biotechnology in the field of environmental pollution control, the 3967 related publications from 2003 to 2020 were collected from Web of Science Core Collection database, and the bibliometric characteristics including publication output, country, institution, journal, author, citation frequency, h-index, and research focus were evaluated by using Excel 2007, CiteSpace V, and VOSviewer. The results indicated that the number of research publications increased rapidly before 2009, but after that, the number of publications fluctuated in a certain range. China and USA were the most productive countries and the most active country in international cooperation. In this field, most authors tend to cooperate within a small group. The journal and subject category with the largest number of publications are "International Biodeterioration & Biodegradation" and "Biotechnology Applied Microbiology", respectively. The analysis of high-frequency keywords revealed that "laccase", "biodegradation", "decolorization", and "Phanerochaete chrysosporium" were the most cited terms among all publications. The pretreatment of biomass waste, decolorization of dye wastewater, and bioremediation of polluted environment are the key research directions of WRF biotechnology. Finally, the frontier topics and active authors in this research field were identified using burst detection. We believe that this bibliometric study provides a comprehensive and systematic overview and promoted the future cooperative research and knowledge exchange in this field of WRF biotechnology for environmental applications.

RESUMO

This paper studies the Cartesian point-to-point optimal trajectory planning for space robots oriented to space maintenance operations. Aiming at the problems of poor stability, large base disturbance, and large joint variation in the motion planning of point-to-point maintenance in space, a planning method is proposed to minimize the base disturbance and the total joint angle variation under the jerk constraint on the premise of ensuring the accuracy of the end pose. First, the attitude of the space robot is described by the unit quaternion, and the velocity relationship between the joint angle, the end effector, and the base posture is introduced. Then, the joint trajectories were parameterized by a fifth degree polynomial, and a trajectory planning model with the minimum perturbation of the base and the minimum variation of the joint of the manipulator was established under the condition that the end effector satisfied the pose and the jerk constraint. Finally, a multi-objective optimization algorithm is proposed to deal with the trajectory optimization problem under nonlinear constraints. The simulation results show that the proposed trajectory planning method can optimize the base attitude and joint angle of the space manipulator under the premise of the optimal trajectory and stability of the terminal execution tool, which ensures the stability of the space robot's on-orbit service and reduces the energy consumption.

RESUMO

Bisphenol F (BPF) is widely used in the plastic manufacturing industry as a replacement for bisphenol A (BPA) because BPF and BPA have similar structures and comparable properties. However, BPF is ubiquitously present in the environment and has higher toxicity to humans. This study is the first to report BPF degradation using the white-rot fungus Phanerochaete sordida YK-624 under ligninolytic conditions (pH=4.5, 30 °C). P. sordida YK-624 almost completely degraded BPF within 4 days. Moreover, functional genes involved in BPF degradation were detected by RNA-Seq. Metabolic processes and peroxidases were enriched by GO analysis, and the metabolic pathway was enriched according to the KEGG pathway analysis. These results suggested that P. sordida YK-624 could secrete higher levels of ligninolytic enzymes lignin peroxidase (LiP) and manganese peroxidase (MnP) for BPF degradation. The results indicated that LiPs and MnPs are important for BPF degradation and cytochrome P450s play a small role. Furthermore, reliability of the RNA-Seq results was validated by qRT-PCR.
