RESUMO

All-solution-processed pure formamidinium-based perovskite light-emitting diodes (PeLEDs) with record performance are successfully realized. It is found that the FAPbBr3 device is hole dominant. To achieve charge carrier balance, on the anode side, PEDOT:PSS 8000 is employed as the hole injection layer, replacing PEDOT:PSS 4083 to suppress the hole current. On the cathode side, the solution-processed ZnO nanoparticle (NP) is used as the electron injection layer in regular PeLEDs to improve the electron current. With the smallest ZnO NPs (2.9 nm) as electron injection layer (EIL), the solution-processed PeLED exhibits a highest forward viewing power efficiency of 22.3 lm W-1 , a peak current efficiency of 21.3 cd A-1 , and an external quantum efficiency of 4.66%. The maximum brightness reaches a record 1.09 × 105 cd m-2 . A record lifetime T50 of 436 s is achieved at the initial brightness of 10 000 cd m-2 . Not only do PEDOT:PSS 8000 HIL and ZnO NPs EIL modulate the injected charge carriers to reach charge balance, but also they prevent the exciton quenching at the interface between the charge injection layer and the light emission layer. The subbandgap turn-on voltage is attributed to Auger-assisted energy up-conversion process.

Carbon dots (CDs) obtained from rapeseed pollen with a high production yield, good biocompatibility, good water solubility, low cost, and simple synthesis are systematically characterized. They can be directly added to Hoagland nutrient solution for planting hydroponically cultivated Lactuca sativa L. to explore their influence on the plants at different concentrations. By measuring lettuce indices of growth, morphology, nutrition quality, gas exchange, and content of photosynthetic pigment, amazing growth-promotion effects of CDs were discovered, and the mechanism was analyzed. Moreover, the in vivo transport route of CDs in lettuce was evaluated by macroscopic and microscopic observations under UV light excitation. The results demonstrate that pollen-derived CDs can be potentially used as a miraculous fertilizer for agricultural applications and as a great in vivo plant bioimaging probe.

A novel drug delivery system, chitosan-microcapsules/starch blend film for antofloxacin controlled release, was prepared, and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (X-RD), thermogravimetry and derivative thermogravimetry (TG/DTG), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Following incorporation of the chitosan-microcapsules in the film matrix, the synergistic interactions between these drug-carriers were significant. The thermostability and mechanical properties of the blend film were greatly improved by the incorporation of the microcapsules. The water resistance of the blend film was enhanced by increasing the content of microcapsules, indicating that the microcapsules acted as moisture barriers. After being incorporated, chitosan-microcapsules/starch blend film shows a sustained drug release. The extent of the film degradation and microcapsules swelling in the release system indicated that the drug released of the blend film was pH-sensitive. The blend film exhibited pharmacodynamic efficacy because of the efficient drug releasing.
