RESUMO

Anther dehiscence is a crucial event in plant reproduction, tightly regulated and dependent on the lignification of the anther endothecium. In this study, we investigated the rapid lignification process that ensures timely anther dehiscence in Arabidopsis. Our findings reveal that endothecium lignification can be divided into two distinct phases. During Phase I, lignin precursors are synthesized without polymerization, while Phase II involves simultaneous synthesis of lignin precursors and polymerization. The transcription factors MYB26, NST1/2, and ARF17 specifically regulate the pathway responsible for the synthesis and polymerization of lignin monomers in Phase II. MYB26-NST1/2 is the key regulatory pathway responsible for endothecium lignification, while ARF17 facilitates this process by interacting with MYB26. Interestingly, our results demonstrate that the lignification of the endothecium, which occurs within approximately 26 h, is much faster than that of the vascular tissue. These findings provide valuable insights into the regulation mechanism of rapid lignification in the endothecium, which enables timely anther dehiscence and successful pollen release during plant reproduction.

RESUMO

Introduction: It is necessary to explore the evidence-based practice of perioperative management of elderly patients undergoing ambulatory surgery, to optimize the clinical workflow and improve the quality of nursing care. Methods: Based on the best evidence obtained from the previous study, the perioperative management model and examination index of elderly patients undergoing day surgery were established, and the evidence of best practice was obtained by using the evidence-based methodology. Then, we integrated evidence into clinical practice and improved the process. We made a comparative analysis of the effect before and after the implementation of the evidence. Results: This study summarized 26 pieces of evidence of perioperative management of elderly patients undergoing day surgery and transformed the evidence into 7 items and 11 items of examination index. After the application of the best evidence, knowledge, belief, and practice of perioperative management of nurses for elderly patients in the day operation ward reached 100%, and the rate of reaching the standard of most indicators increased after the application of evidence. The length of waiting for admission and waiting for operation and returning to the ward to discharge of elderly patients decreased significantly, and the difference was statistically significant (All p < 0.05). Conclusion: Evidence-based perioperative management of elderly patients undergoing day surgery improves the nursing practice of clinical nurses and shortens the waiting time and hospitalization time of elderly patients undergoing day surgery, which should be promoted in clinical nursing care.

RESUMO

A novel far-red emitting phosphor Sr2 MgWO6 : Mn4+ was fabricated using high-temperature solid-state reaction. X-ray diffraction patterns, scanning electron microscopy images, and photoluminescence excitation and photoluminescence spectra for this phosphor were analyzed in detail. The analysis revealed that its emission ranged from 600 to 800 nm and peaked at 699 nm, which was attributed to the 2 Eg →4 A2g transition of Mn4+ under 314 nm excitation. Moreover, we introduced rare-earth Yb3+ ions into the Sr2 MgWO6 :Mn4+ to improve its far-red emitting intensity. The photoluminescence (PL) intensity of the Yb3+ co-doped phosphor was three times higher than that of the single-doped phosphor. Therefore charge compensation is an efficient approach to improving PL intensity. The phosphor emitted a far-red light that resembled the pigments essential for plant growth in terms of the absorption spectrum. Therefore, the obtained phosphor, Sr2 MgWO6 :0.006Mn4+ ,0.2Yb3+ , had the potential to be a new type of far-red luminescent powder for indoor plant growth LEDs.

RESUMO

Perovskite decomposition arising from water permeation and heat induced crystal expansion is a major obstacle restricting the long-term durability of perovskite solar cells (PSCs). Herein, a polymerizable methyl acrylate (MCE) was employed as dopants in the deposition of perovskite thin films. Owing to the in situ formed polymer network, the environment moisture can be retained on the perovskite surface as the formation of a thin layer of perovskite monohydrate to prevent their deep penetration and transverse spread, and the heat tolerance of the perovskite was also improved because of the anchor structure between Pb2+ and -C═O groups and the agglomeration effect of the polymerized MCE. Moreover, MCE can coordinate with Pb2+ ions and some of them were volatilized during crystallization, resulting in preferred crystal orientations and suppressed nonradiative recombination. As a result, an excellent efficiency up to 21% with improved stability of MAPbI3 PSC was achieved.
