RESUMO

Pavement condition monitoring is an important task in road asset management and efficient abnormal pavement condition detection is critical for timely conservation management decisions. The present work introduces a mobile pavement condition monitoring approach utilizing low-cost sensor technology and machine-learning-based methodologies. Specifically, an on-board unit (OBU) embedded with an inertial measurement unit (IMU) and global positioning system (GPS) is applied to collect vehicle posture data in real time. Through a comprehensive analysis of both time domain and frequency domain data features for both normal and abnormal pavement conditions, feature engineering is conducted to identify how the most important features affect abnormal pavement condition recognition. Six machine learning models are then developed to identify different types of pavement conditions. The performance of different algorithms and the significance of different features are then analyzed. Moreover, the influence of vehicle speed on pavement condition assessment is further examined and classification models for different speed intervals are developed. The results indicate that the random forest (RF) model that considers vehicle speed achieves the best performance in pavement condition monitoring. The outcomes of the present work would contribute to cost-effective pavement condition monitoring and provide an important reference for pavement maintenance sectors.

RESUMO

Nobiletin (NOB), a polymethoxylated flavone isolated from citrus peels, is a promising dietary treatment for lung diseases, such as pulmonary fiborsis. In this work, the underlying mechanisms of NOB's preventative effect on pulmonary fibrosis were explored using bleomycin-exposed mice and IL-4-induced M2 polarization of the macrophages. Results showed that NOB treatment could significantly ameliorate lung fibrosis by suppressing pathological damages, collagen deposition, and fibroblat activation. Moreover, NOB obviously reduced the M2 macrophage-related proteins, including CD206, Arg1, and pro-fibrotic mediators such as TGF-ß and CTGF, which might contribute to the antifibrosis effect of NOB. Network analysis of the differentially expressed genes in NOB-treated M2 macrophages showed that autophagy, mTOR signaling pathway, and AMPK signaling pathway might be involved in the effects of NOB. Further exploration illustrated that autophagy was enhanced in NOB-treated lung and M2 macrophages. The addition of 3MA, an autophagy inhibitor, could significantly weaken the effect of NOB on lung fibrosis and macrophage M2 polarization. Additionally, NOB also markedly decreased the expression of p-AMPK, p-mTOR, and p-P70S6K in the M2 macrophages and lung tissues of BLM-exposed mice. Compound C, an AMPK agonist, significantly suppressed NOB-induced activation of AMPK and mTOR signals, as well as its inhibitory effect on autophagy, M2 macrophages and lung fibrosis both in vitro and in vivo, supporting the requirement of AMPK-mTOR-mediated autophagy for the NOB's antifibrosis activity. Taken together, this study suggests that NOB ameliorates pulmonary fibrosis likely involving the inhibition of M2 macrophage via activating AMPK-mTOR-mediated autophagy.

RESUMO

Klebsiella pneumoniae is an opportunistic pathogen and it can cause human mucosal lesions through the intestine, leading to bacteremia and abscess formation in liver and spleen. Previous studies have shown that K. pneumoniae can enter or cross cells through the intestinal epithelium, but the mechanism is unknown. In this study, we treated the intestinal epithelial cell line Caco-2 with KP1195, a clinically isolated strain with high adhesion and invasion of intestinal epithelial cells. The results showed that the treatment of K. pneumoniae could increase the expression of integrin gene and further disrupt the changes of cytoskeleton. Treating Caco-2 with cytoskeletal inhibitor cytorelaxin D can significantly increase the efficiency of K. pneumoniae invading Caco-2 cells. These data suggest that disruption of the cytoskeleton through integrins may be one of the mechanisms by which K. pneumoniae increases intracellular invasion. This study provides a theoretical basis for further understanding of the mechanism of K. pneumoniae entering intestinal epithelial cells.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the pharmacovigilance and clinical characteristics of psychiatric adverse events(AEs) related to Fluoroquinolones(FQs), and to determine the risk factors for timely management. METHODS: Data about AE reporting comes from the FDA Adverse Event Reporting System (FAERS) database, which was used for pharmacovigilance assessments. In addition, we also analyzed the cases of psychiatric AEs related to FQs retrospectively. RESULTS: Both of the FAERS database analysis and literature reports show that the proportion of FQs-related psychiatric AEs reported in females were higher (51.11% VS 33.44% and 53.23% VS 46.77%). Both of them show that the proportion of psychiatric AEs caused by FQs was higher in the age groups of 19-44 (28.08% and 40.32%) and 45-64 (28.17% and 25.81%). Most psychiatric AEs occurred within 10 days after FQs administration. Literature shows that 67.74% of the psychiatric AEs disappeared within 3 days after drug withdrawal (some cases were accompanied by other drug). CONCLUSION: Psychiatric AEs caused by FQs are serious, and there are many important safety signals that have not been mentioned in the label or previous studies. It is very important to identify and manage psychiatric AEs in time for the safe use of FQs.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) is an emerging viral hemorrhagic fever with high fatality rates. The blockade of pro-inflammatory cytokines presents a promising therapeutic strategy. METHODS: We conducted a randomized clinical trial at the 154th hospital, Xinyang, Henan Province. Eligible patients with severe SFTS disease were randomly assigned in a 1:2 ratio to receive either a single intravenous infusion of tocilizumab plus usual care; or usual care only. The primary outcome was the clinical status of death/survival at day 14, while secondary outcomes included improvement from baseline in liver and kidney damage and time required for hospital discharge. The efficacy of tocilizumab plus corticosteroid was compared to those receiving corticosteroid alone. The trial is registered with the Chinese Clinical Trial Registry website (ChiCTR2300076317). RESULTS: 63 eligible patients were assigned to the tocilizumab group and 126 to the control group. The addition of tocilizumab to usual care was associated with a reduced death rate (9.5%) compared to those received only usual care (23.0%), with an adjusted hazard ratio (aHR) of 0.37 (95% confidence interval [CI], 0.15 to 0.91, P = 0.029). Combination therapy of tocilizumab and corticosteroids was associated with a significantly reduced fatality (aHR, 0.21; 95% CI, 0.08 to 0.56; P = 0.002) compared to those receiving corticosteroids alone. CONCLUSIONS: A significant benefit of reducing fatality in severe SFTS patients was observed by using tocilizumab. A combined therapy of tocilizumab plus corticosteroids was recommended for the therapy of severe SFTS.

RESUMO

Cardiac tissue engineering has emerged as a promising approach for restoring the functionality of damaged cardiac tissues following myocardial infarction. To effectively replicate the native anisotropic structure of cardiac tissues in vitro, this study focused on the fabrication of micropatterned gelatin methacryloyl hydrogels with varying geometric parameters. These substrates were evaluated for their ability to guide induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (CMs). The findings demonstrate that the mechanical properties of this hydrogel closely resemble those of native cardiac tissues, and it exhibits high fidelity in micropattern fabrication. Micropatterned hydrogel substrates lead to enhanced organization, maturation, and contraction of CMs. A microgroove with 20-µm-width and 20-µm-spacing was identified as the optimal configuration for maximizing the contact guidance effect, supported by analyses of nuclear orientation and F-actin organization. Furthermore, this specific micropattern design was found to promote CMs' maturation, as evidenced by increased expression of connexin 43 and vinculin, along with extended sarcomere length. It also enhanced CMs' contraction, resulting in larger contractile amplitudes and greater contractile motion anisotropy. In conclusion, these results underscore the significant benefits of optimizing micropatterned gelatin methacryloyl for improving CMs' organization, maturation, and contraction. This valuable insight paves the way for the development of highly organized and functionally mature cardiac tissues in vitro.

RESUMO

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) nanofiber mats have played a significant role in wearable electronic devices that have been in great demand in recent decades. Although manifold PVDFbased freely stacked or well-aligned nanofiber mats created via the electrospinning process have been demonstrated to achieve multisensory capabilities with high sensitivity and long detection range, rarely have any of them proved their ability with a stable process and accurate processing parameters. In this work, we successfully developed freely stacked and well-aligned PVDF nanofiber mats with diameters ranging from micrometers to nanometers, providing stable performance for wearable electronic devices. Through in-depth investigations into material preparation, electrospinning, and fiber collection processes, we revealed the relationship between the nanofiber morphology, ß-phase fraction, and piezoelectric output with various process parameters. Characterized by analytical methods, we have established a mature, reliable nanofiber mat fabrication system capable of mass-producing PVDF nanofibers with the required diameter and consistent properties. At 18 kV voltage and 60% RH humidity, the uniformity of the fiber diameter and ß-phase content was maintained in a favorable range. When the drum speed increased to 2000 r/s, the fiber orientation and ß-phase content increased. We assembled aligned PVDF nanofiber mats with conductive fabric in a flexible piezoelectric sensor that successfully monitored different body movements and produced an output voltage of 0.1 V. This study provides the necessary process parameters for the large-scale production of high-quality PVDF nanofiber mats and provides clear guidance for beginners in the field of nanofiber mat manufacturing.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) were reported to protect from hypoxia-induced oxidative stress in coronary endothelial cells (CECs) after acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Nrf2 shows a protective effect in hypoxia-induced CECs after AMI. Plasmalemma vesicle-associated protein (PLVAP) plays a pivotal role in angiogenesis after AMI. AIM: To explore the protective effect of ACEIs and the involved mechanisms under hypoxia challenge. METHODS: Human coronary endothelial cells (HCAECs) were used to establish hypoxia-induced oxidative stress injury in vitro. Flow cytometry was used to evaluate the protective effect of ACEI on hypoxia conditions.ET-1, NO, ROS, and VEGF were detected by ELISA. HO-1, Nrf2, and Keap-1, the pivotal member in the Nrf2 signaling pathway, eNOS and PLVAP were detected in HEAECs treated with ACEI by immunofluorescence, qPCR, and western blotting. RESULTS: The hypoxia ACEI or Nrf2 agonist groups showed higher cell viability compared with the hypoxia control group at 24 (61.75±1.16 or 61.23±0.59 vs. 44.24±0.58, both P < 0.05) and 48 h (41.85±1.19 or 59.64±1.13 vs. 22.98±0.25, both P < 0.05). ACEI decreased the levels of ET-1 and ROS under hypoxia challenge at 24 and 48 h (all P < 0.05); ACEI increased the VEGF and NO levels (all P < 0.05). ACEI promoted the expression level of eNOS, HO-1, Nrf2 and PLVAP but inhibited Keap-1 expression at the mRNA and protein levels (all P < 0.05). Blockade of the Nrf2 signaling pathway significantly decreased the expression level of PLVAP. CONCLUSION: ACEI protects hypoxia-treated HEAECs by activating the Nrf2 signaling pathway and upregulating the expression of PLVAP.

RESUMO

Corneal stromal injury is a common surgical disease. With the development of tissue engineering materials, many artificial corneal scaffolds have been developed to replace allograft corneal transplantation and solve the problem of corneal donor shortage. However, few researchers have paid attention to corneal stromal wound healing. Herein, a nanocomposite of amino modified mesoporous bioactive glass (MBG-NH2) and microRNA-133b (miR-133b) was introduced into the patterned collagen films to achieve corneal stromal injury repair. MBG-NH2nanoparticles as a nano delivery carrier could efficiently load miR-133b and achieve the slow release of miR-133b. The physicochemical properties of collagen films were characterized and found the microgrooved collagen films loaded with miR-133b@MBG-NH2nanoparticles possessed similar swelling properties, optical clarity, and biodegradability to the natural cornea. In vitrocell experiments were also conducted and proved that the patterned collagen films with miR-133b@MBG-NH2possessed good biocompatibility, and miR-133b@MBG-NH2nanoparticles could be significantly uptake by rabbit corneal stromal cells (RCSCs) and have a significant impact on the orientation, proliferation, migration, and gene expression of RCSCs. More importantly, the patterned collagen films with miR-133b@MBG-NH2could effectively promote the migration of RCSCs and accelerate wound healing process, and down-regulate the expression levels ofα-SMA, COL-I, and CTGF genes associated with myofibroblast differentiation of corneal stromal cells, which has a potential application prospect in the repair of corneal stromal injury.

RESUMO

Background: Klebsiella pneumoniae (K. pneumoniae) is one of the most common pathogens leading to pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) co-infection, but the data of co-infections is scarce. This research aimed to study the clinical and microbiological characteristics of K. pneumoniae co-infections in pulmonary tuberculosis cases. Methods: Clinical manifestations and examination results of PTB cases co-infected by K. pneumoniae were retrospectively collected from the medical record database of a tertiary teaching hospital in China between November 2019 and October 2021. The K. pneumoniae strains isolated from the patients were sent for whole-genome sequencing. Statistical analyses were conducted using Stata v.14.0. Results: A total of 80 strains were collected from 76 PTB patients with K. pneumoniae co-infections (two strains were isolated from each of the four patients at different time points), including 37 primary and 39 retreated TB cases. Among these, 29 (36.3%) of the K. pneumoniae isolates were extended-spectrum ß-lactamase (ESBL)-producing strains, and seven (8.8%) were determined as carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE) strains. We found that patients in the multidrug resistance (MDR)-group received more respiratory support than the non-MDR group (40.6% vs 18.2%, P= 0.031) and possessed higher elevated C-reactive protein (62.6% vs 41.8%, P=0.008) and lower haemoglobin (87.5% vs 47.7%, P=0.001). We found that 80.3% (61/76) patients had lung lesions and 57.8% (44/76) patients were immunocompromised within one month. The most common K. pneumoniae strain sequence type was ST23 (15%), followed by ST15 (12.5%) and ST273 (7.5%). Among the strains, 26.25% were classically hypervirulent K1/K2 K. pneumoniae, and all carried salmochelin and rmpA. Conclusion: This study demonstrated the important clinical features, phenotypic and genomic characteristics of isolated strains of PTB patients with K. pneumoniae co-infection. These data suggested a special attention for multidrug resistant K. pneumoniae infections with more obvious inflammatory responses which calls for more respiratory support and timely clinical management.

RESUMO

Glioblastoma (GBM) is the most prevalent and fatal form of brain tumor, which is associated with a poor prognosis. ATP-binding cassette subfamily F member 1 (ABCF1) is an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme, which is implicated in regulating immune responses and tumorigenesis. Aberrant E3 ubiquitylation has been evidenced in GBM. However, the role of ABCF1 in GBM needs to be further explored. The expression of ABCF1, CXC chemokine ligand 12 (CXCL12), and CXC chemokine receptor 4 (CXCR4) in GBM tissues was examined by the GEPIA tool, real-time PCR and Western blotting. HMC3, U251MG, and LN-229 cells were cultured and transfected with shRNA targeting ABCF1 and ABCF1 plasmids. The proliferative, migrative, and invasive ability of cells was detected. Western blotting was used to detect the levels of phosphorylated phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PI3K) and phosphorylated protein kinase B (AKT). We observed that GBM tissues had higher ABCF1, CXCL12, and CXCR4 expression levels. The expression levels of CXCL12 and CXCR4 were enhanced by ABCF1 overexpression, which were significantly reversed by silence of ABCF1 in GBM cells. Silencing ABCF1 or CXCR4 inhibition weakened the capacity of GBM cell growth, migration, and invasion, while ectopic ABCF1 expression or CXCL12 treatment enhanced the cellular function of GBM cells. Furthermore, p-PI3K and p-AKT protein levels were downregulated by ABCF1 knockdown or CXCR4 blockade, which were prompted by ABCF1 overexpression or CXCL12 supplement. The ABCF1-CXCL12-CXCR4 axis was identified as a key player in GBM cell survival and metastasis by activating the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway in GBM cells.

RESUMO

Driving behavior recognition can provide an important reference for the intelligent vehicle industry and probe vehicle-based traffic estimation. The identification of driving behavior using mobile sensing techniques such as smartphone- and vehicle-mounted terminals has gained significant attention in recent years. The present work proposed the monitoring of longitudinal driving behavior using a machine learning approach with the support of an on-board unit (OBU). Specifically, based on velocity, three-axis acceleration and three-axis angular velocity data were collected by a mobile vehicle terminal OBU; through the process of data preprocessing and feature extraction, seven machine learning algorithms, including support vector machine (SVM), random forest (RF), k-nearest neighbor algorithm (KNN), logistic regression (LR), BP neural network (BPNN), decision tree (DT), and the Naive Bayes (NB), were applied to implement the classification and monitoring of the longitudinal driving behavior of probe vehicles. The results show that the three classifiers SVM, RF and DT achieved good performances in identifying different longitudinal driving behaviors. The outcome of the present work could contribute to the fields of traffic management and traffic safety, providing important support for the realization of intelligent transport systems and the improvement of driving safety.

RESUMO

Nitrous acid (HONO) plays an important role in the budget of hydroxyl radical (OH) in the atmosphere. However, current chemical transport models (CTMs) typically underestimate ambient concentrations of HONO due to a dearth of high resolution primary HONO emission inventories. To address this issue, we have established a highly resolved bottom-up HONO emission inventory for CTMs in Guangdong province, utilizing the best available domestic measured emission factors and newly obtained activity data. Our results indicate that emissions from various sources in 2020, including soil, on-road traffic, non-road traffic, biomass burning, and stationary combustion, were estimated at 21.5, 10.0, 8.2, 2.5, and 0.7 kt, respectively. Notably, the HONO emissions structure differed between the Pearl River Delta (PRD) and the non-PRD regions. Specifically, traffic sources were the dominant contributors (62 %) to HONO emissions in the PRD, whereas soil sources accounted for the majority (65 %) of those in the non-PRD. Among on-road traffic sources, diesel vehicles played a significant role, contributing 99.7 %. Comparisons with previous methods suggest that HONO emissions from diesel vehicles are underestimated by approximately 2.5 times. Higher HONO emissions, dominated by soil emissions, were observed in summer months, particularly in August. Furthermore, diesel vehicle emissions were pronounced at night, likely contributing to the nighttime accumulation of HONO and the morning peak of OH. The emission inventories developed in this study can be directly applied to widely used CTMs, such as CMAQ, CAMx, WRF-Chem, and NAQPMS, to support the simulation of OH formation and secondary air pollution.

RESUMO

Large-size mandible graft has huge needs in clinic caused by infection, tumor, congenital deformity, bone trauma and so on. However, the reconstruction of large-size mandible defect is challenged due to its complex anatomical structure and large-range bone injury. The design and fabrication of porous implants with large segments and specific shapes matching the native mandible remain a considerable challenge. Herein, the 6% Mg-doped calcium silicate (CSi-Mg6) and ß- and α-tricalcium phosphate (ß-TCP, α-TCP) bioceramics were fabricated by digital light processing as the porous scaffolds of over 50% in porosity, while the titanium mesh was fabricated by selective laser melting. The mechanical tests showed that the initial flexible/compressive resistance of CSi-Mg6 scaffolds was markedly higher than that of ß-TCP and α-TCP scaffolds. Cell experiments showed that these materials all had good biocompatibility, while CSi-Mg6 significantly promoted cell proliferation. In the rabbit critically sized mandible bone defects (∼13 mm in length) filled with porous bioceramic scaffolds, the titanium meshes and titanium nails were acted as fixation and load bearing. The results showed that the defects were kept during the observation period in the blank (control) group; in contrast, the osteogenic capability was significantly enhanced in the CSi-Mg6 and α-TCP groups in comparison with the ß-TCP group, and these two groups not only had significantly increased new bone formation but also had thicker trabecular and smaller trabecular spacing. Besides, the CSi-Mg6 and α-TCP groups showed appreciable material biodegradation in the later stage (from 8 to 12 weeks) in comparison with the ß-TCP scaffolds while the CSi-Mg6 group showed much outstanding mechanical capacity in vivo in the early stage compared to the ß-TCP and α-TCP groups. Totally, these findings suggest that the combination of customized strength-strong bioactive CSi-Mg6 scaffolds together with titanium meshes is a promising way for repairing the large-size load-bearing mandible defects.

RESUMO

To analyze the application effect of anti-tuberculosis therapy (ATT) combined with all-in-one nursing care on pulmonary tuberculosis (PT). Seventy-four PT patients who received ATT in our hospital between December 2015 and June 2016 were selected as the research participants and randomized into a research group (RG; n=37) and a control group (CG; n=37) that were given all-in-one nursing care and routine care, respectively. The cure rate and treatment compliance were compared between groups, and the awareness of disease prevention and treatment was investigated. Patients' psychological status and quality of life were evaluated using the Self-Rating Depression/Anxiety Scale (SAS/SDS) and the Quality of Life Questionnaire Core 30 (QLQ-C30), respectively. RG and CG were not statistically different in the clinical cure rate (P>0.05), but the X-ray cure rate was higher and the recurrence rate was lower in RG (P<0.05). In addition, RG showed higher medication compliance rate, regular reexamination rate and awareness of disease prevention and treatment than CG (P<0.05). Reductions in SAS/SDS scores were observed in both groups after care, with even lower levels in RG, while the QLQ-C30 score increased and was higher in RG as compared to CG (P<0.05). Therefore, All-in-one nursing care can effectively enhance the level of treatment compliance and awareness of disease prevention and treatment of PT patients. In the future, when treating PT patients in the clinic, the effectiveness of ATT can be improved by implementing all-in-one nursing care to provide more reliable prognosis for patients.

RESUMO

Based on disulfide-enriched multiblock copolymer vesicles, we present a straightforward sequential drug delivery system with dual-redox response that releases hydrophilic doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX·HCl) and hydrophobic paclitaxel (PTX) under oxidative and reductive conditions, respectively. When compared to concurrent therapeutic delivery, the spatiotemporal control of drug release allows for an improved combination antitumor effect. The simple and smart nanocarrier has promising applications in the field of cancer therapy.

RESUMO

Hydrogen isotope enrichment through liquid-phase catalytic exchange (LPCE) technology is achieved in a hydrophobic reaction environment to avoid liquid water poisoning, but the usage of hydrophobic support severely inhibits the internal diffusion of water molecules to decrease the catalytic efficiency. Herein, we encapsulate platinum active sites into a metal organic framework (Pt@NH2-UiO-66) as the efficient catalyst for LPCE via introducing hydrophilic amino groups. Experiments and density functional theory simulation reveal amino groups in the channel as the adsorption site of water molecules accelerates the internal diffusion and slows down the accumulation on the platinum sites. Meanwhile, the amino groups interact with the Pt site bridge electron transfer from active sites to support the host, thus decreasing the catalytic reaction and generated water desorption barrier. Due to these positive roles, the turnover frequency of Pt@NH2-UiO-66 reaches 2272 h-1 in a microchannel reactor. This work provides a novel design strategy of catalysts in LPCE.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: Suicidal ideation is an important public health challenge among people living with HIV (PLWH) across the world and in China. HIV stigma, depression, and self-esteem have been associated with suicidal ideation. However, the underlying mechanisms remain not fully understood. METHODS: Study data were derived from a sample of 465 PLWH in China. Suicidal ideation after HIV diagnosis was used as outcome variable. HIV stigma, depressive symptoms, and self-esteem were measured using reliable instruments and used as predictor, mediator, and moderator, respectively. Mediation and moderated mediation model were used for data analysis. RESULTS: 31.6% of PLWH in China had suicidal ideation after HIV diagnosis. The association between perceived HIV stigma and suicidal ideation was partially mediated by depression (indirect effect = 0.02, 95% CI = [0.02, 0.03]) with the path from perceived HIV stigma to depressive symptoms being moderated by self-esteem (interaction effect = - 0.02, 95% CI [- 0.03, - 0.01]). CONCLUSIONS: Study findings suggested a mediation mechanism of HIV stigma on suicidal ideation through depressive symptoms, and self-esteem might weaken the mediation mechanism by moderating the perceived HIV stigma-depressive symptoms pathway.

RESUMO

This study explored the association of exposure to air pollutants during gestational and the first year of life with physical growth in preschoolers. The linear and logistic regression models were used to estimate the associations between air pollution and childhood growth. After adjusting for confounders, z-scores of body mass index (zBMI, and 95% confidence intervals, 95%CI) increased by 1.164(1.054,1.285), 1.136(1.050,1.228) and 1.165(1.041,1.303), associated with per interquartile range (IQR) increase in NO2 (nitrogen dioxide), PM2.5 and PM10 (particulate matter with aerodynamic diameters ≤2.5 µm and 10 µm) during gestational, respectively. The odds ratios (and 95%CI) of childhood overweight/obesity associated with per IQR increase in NO2, PM2.5 and PM10 during gestational were 1.425(1.168,1.737), 1.255(1.087,1.450) and 1.332(1.104,1.605). Positive associations were found between air pollution during the first year of life and zBMI or overweight/obesity. Our findings suggest exposure to air pollution were associated with childhood growth, and improving air quality is beneficial for childhood growth.
