Revision of Indian species of Caenohomalopoda Tachikawa (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae).

The Indian species of the genus Caenohomalopoda Tachikawa (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) are revised. The seven species known from India are redescribed, and a new species, C. sudhiri sp. nov., is described. An identification key to the eight Indian species is given.

First description of the male of Anagyrus almoriensis Shafee, Alam amp; Agarwal (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) with details of new host Pseudococcus calceolariae (Maskell) (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) on Rubus ellipticusnbsp;(Rosaceae) from Himalayas.

The male of Anagyrus almoriensis Shafee, Alam Agarwal (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) is described and illustrated from India along with notes on its associated hosts and types.

Two new species of Anaphes Haliday (Hymenoptera: Mymaridae) from India and Indonesia.

Two species of Anaphes Haliday with distinctive females are described from India (A. triapitsyni Anwar Zeya, sp. nov.) or from India and Indonesia (A. kailashchandrai Anwar Zeya, sp. nov.). The only other Anaphes species known to occur in India is A. quinquearticulatus Huber Triapitsyn because previous records of A. pallipes (Ashmead) and A. pullicrurus (Girault) are based on misidentifications. These latter two names are therefore removed from the faunal list of India. An illustrated key to females of the three described species of Anaphes known from India is given. The described species of Anaphes known from Australia are also briefly reviewed, with type material of four previously unillustrated species being newly imaged and compared to the Indian species.

The genus Sakencyrtus Hayat (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea: Encyrtidae) from India with description of a new species.

Indian species of the genus Sakencyrtus Hayat are reviewed and illustrated. A new species, Sakencyrtus bialbifuniculus sp. nov., is described. The two species known from India, S. mirus Hayat and S. albiclavus Hayat, are redescribed. The macropterous forms and males of S. mirus are described for the first time. An identification key to species is provided.

On some brachypterous Encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) from India, with description of four new species.

Four new species of brachypterous Encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea) are described. These are: Cheiloneurus mandyanus Hayat, sp. nov., Encyrtus coorgensis Hayat & Zeya, sp. nov., Microterys atturensis Hayat, sp. nov. and Pseudectroma indicum Hayat & Zeya, sp. nov. The following species that exist either in brachypterous forms only or in both brachypterous and macropterous forms are recorded: Anomalicornia tenuicornis Mercet, Cheiloneurus bangalorensis (Subba Rao), C. quadricolor (Girault), Diversinervus cervantesi (Girault), Globulencyrtus politus (Hoffer), Indaphycus planus Hayat, Neodusmetia sangwani (Subba Rao), Prochiloneurus bolivari Mercet, Rhopus atys Noyes & Hayat and Sakencyrtus mirus Hayat. Globulencyrtus politus and P bolivari are newly recorded from India. A diagnosis of Globulencyrtus, and redescriptions of G politus, P bolivari based on the Indian specimens and of the brachypterous forms of R. atys are given. The occurrence of brachyptery in the Encyrtidae is briefly noted together with a list of brachypterous species recorded from India.
