RESUMO

Ceramic membrane has an important application prospect in industrial acid solution treatment. Enhancement of the acid resistance is the key strategy to optimize the membrane treatment effect. This work reports a core-shell structured membrane fabricated on alumina ceramic substrates via a one-step in situ hydrothermal method. The acid resistance of the modified membrane was significantly improved due to the protection provided by a chemically stable carbon layer. After modification, the masses lost by the membrane in the hydrochloric acid solution and the acetic acid solution were sharply reduced by 90.91% and 76.92%, respectively. Kinetic models and isotherm models of adsorption were employed to describe acid adsorption occurring during the membrane process and indicated that the modified membrane exhibited pseudo-second-order kinetics and Langmuir model adsorption. Compared to the pristine membrane, the faster adsorption speed and the lower adsorption capacity were exhibited by the modified membrane, which further had a good performance with treating various kinds of acid solutions. Moreover, the modified membrane could be recycled without obvious flux decay. This modification method provides a facile and efficient strategy for the fabrication of acid-resistant membranes for use in extreme conditions.

RESUMO

A method for the selective synthesis of unsymmetrical α-haloketones has been developed. The key transformation is a triphenylphosphine oxide catalyzed reductive halogenation of an α,ß-unsaturated ketone in which trichlorosilane is the reducing reagent and an N-halosuccinimide is the electrophilic halogen source. This method allows for a halogen atom to be installed selectively at either of two very similarly substituted sites adjacent to a ketone group.

RESUMO

A new method for the direct synthesis of 3-phosphinoylbenzothio(seleno)phenes has been achieved through an Ag-mediated radical addition-cyclization of 2-alkynylthio(seleno)anisoles with secondary phosphine oxides in good yields under mild conditions. In this single reaction, benzenethiophene or benzeneselenophene skeleton, C(sp2)-P and C(sp2)-S bonds can be constructed with the cleavage of the C(sp3)-S bond, highlighting the efficiency and step-economics of this protocol.

RESUMO

A flexible ligand bis(7-methyl-1,8-naphthyridine-2-ylamino)methane (), having kappa(4)-chelating and kappa(2)-bridging modes, and its intriguing structural complexes of Zn(II) with mu-OH, kappa(1)-OAc, mu-kappa(1)-OAc and mu-kappa(2)-OAc ligands, [Zn(2)()(2)(OH)](ClO(4))(3) (), [Zn(4)()(2)(OAc)(6)(OH)(2)].CH(2)Cl(2) (.CH(2)Cl(2)) and [Zn(5)()(2)(OAc)(10)](n).4nH(2)O (.4H(2)O) were synthesized and their structures were determined by X-ray crystallography. These compounds exhibited intense blue fluorescent emissions with a lambda(max) in the range of 380-410 nm in CH(2)Cl(2), CH(3)CN and CH(3)OH solutions, and solid-state emissions centered at 416, 463, 490 and 451 nm were observed for the compounds , , and at room temperature, respectively. The investigated fluorescence properties of associated with various metal ions showed that the fluorescence enhancement of with Cd(II) was more sensitive than with other interfering cations.
