ABSTRACT

OBJECTIVE:

To prepare and purify polyclonal antibody against chymopapain, and to make a foundation for establishing an immunossay for chymopapain.

METHODS:

New Zealand rabbit was immunized with chymopapain. Antiserum was purified by Protein A and analyzed by ELISA.

RESULTS:

The titer of the antiserum obtained in this experiment by ELISA was up to 1380000 and the purity was proved to be high by SDS-PAGE.
