[Epithelioid angiomatosis and HIV infection. A neoplastic or infectious proliferative disease?]. / Angiomatosis epiteloide e infección por VIH. Enfermedad proliferativa neoplásica o infecciosa?

A case of "epithelioid angiomatosis" detected in a homosexual patient with positive seric HIV is presented. The skin lesions cytoplasm rich, closed y clumped together, with scanty stromal compound. Warthin-Starry staining [correction of tintions] did not show Bacillus causing "cat scratch disease". We review and analyse the features of this type of proliferation in patients infected with HIV.
