Resumo
In the state of Mato Grosso do Sul, which is composed by four macroregions, Cerrado, Chaco, Atlantic Forest and Pantanal, there are 39 species and 24 genera of Tachinidae based on the literature. The subfamily Tachininae, with 15 species occurring in the State, has the highest representativeness, while the other subfamilies, Exoristinae, Phasiinae, and Dexiinae, with respectively 14, 7 and 3 species.(AU)
