Blood serum globulins of female donkeys (Equus asinus L.) were separated electrophoreticalty by cellulose acetate (CAF), and their values determined before and during several pregnancy periods and post-partum. The relative values of the alpha-globulin decreased linearly along pregnancy, increasing again post-partum; the absolute values did not differ statistically. The relative values of the beta-globulin osculated around a mean value lower than recorded before pregnancy; the absolute values were not statistically different. The relative values of the gama-globulin decreased linearly along pregnancy and just after parturition; the absolute values at the studied periods were also statistically different, although did not vary linearity.
As globulinas séricas de quinze jumentas (Equus asinus L.) foram separadas por eletroforese sobre acetato de celulose (CAF) e seus valores determinados antes e durante vários períodos da gestação e no pós-parto. Os valores relativos da alfa globulina diminuíram linearmente ao longo da gestação, elevando-se novamente no pós-parto; os valores absolutos no diferiram estatisticamente. Os valores relativos da betaglobulina oscilaram ao redor de um valor médio mais baixo do que o registrado antes da prenhez; os valores absolutos foram idênticos estatisticamente. Os valores relativos da gamaglolina diminuíram linearmente ao longo da gestação e logo após o parto; seus valores absolutos também foram estatisticamente diferentes, embora não tenham variado linearmente.
