Resumo
The hip dysplasia is a disease that affects more dogs of large breeds and rapid growth. It is caused by nutritional factors, genetic factors and signs such as lameness, reluctance to jump and run, which should be investigated by the Veterinarian and, if necessary, carry out radiography of the hip region to diagnosis. The treatment may be conservational or surgical. Chondroitin sulfate and glucosamine had good results in the case in question combined with short duration exercises and weight monitoring.
