Resumo

Ao tumores da vesícula urinária são na sua grande maioria, os cacinomas de células transicionais (1,2,3,5,8 que têm maior prevalência em pacientes geriatras 1,2,3,7,9 e surgem de um tipo transicional de epitélio estratificado 12. Existem ainda os rabdomiossarcomas que, por sua vez, também têm altíssima malignidade e são neoplasias da musculatura estriada 3,7. Ocorrem ainda carcinomas de células escamosas, adenocarcinomas, fibrossarcomas, leimiossarcomas, neurofibrossarcomas e hemangiosassarcomas, igualmente malignos 13,8. Acredita-se que nos tumores vesicais do cão, seu aparecimento deva-se a diferença no metabolismo do triptofano 1,3 e de seus metabólicos intermediários carciogênicos, e ao contato prolongado d mucosa vesical com essas substâncias 3. Fibromas, leimiomas, hemangiomas, rabdomiomas, mixomas e neurofibomas são tumores vesicais benignos, sendo o leiomioma um tumor da musculatura lisa e, dentro os benignos, é o mais comum em cães 1,9,10. Eles não são invasivos e não se metastarizam 4,6 mas podem ocorrer recidivas, pósexcisão 4. Também são comuns a extensão do tumor para os ureteres e/ou a uretra, e por compreensão poderá haver comprometimento de suas funções; elas podem causar, infecção do trato urinário, incontinência urinária ou anúria 1. Este relato tem como objetivo enfatizar como é importante que o médico veterinário, esteja ciente dessas afirmações, assim podendo traçar um raciocínio lógico de conduta. O conhecimento das técnicas cirúrgicas lhe permitirá estar preparado para usá-las quando lhe forem necessárias, como, por exemplo, neste caso, em que um leiomioma, comprometia a função da drenagem ureteral(AU)

The tumors of the urinary bladder are in their great majority, carcinomas of transitional cells, which have larger prevalende in geriatric patients, and apper from a transitional type of the stratified epithelium. There also are the rabdomiosarcomas that, in turn, have also hight malice and are neoplasias of the smooth muscle. Carconimas of squamous cells, adenocarcinomas, fibrosarcomas, leimyosarcomas, neurofibrosarcomas and hemangiosasarcomas, equally malign may also happen. It is believed that in the vesicles tumors of a dog, the appearance is due to the difference between the metabolism of the triptofano and the metabolic intermediate carcinogenic, and to the prolonged contact of the mucous vesicle membrane with these substances. Fibromas, leiomiomas, rabdomiomas, mixomas and neurofibromas are benign vesicle tumors, being the leiomioma a flat musculature tumor, and, among the benign ones, it is the most common type in dogs. They are nor invasive and dont metastasize, but there can be post recision recurrences. Also it is common the extension of the tumor the urethers and/or the uretha, and by compression it may compromise their functions. It can cause, infection of the urinary tract, urinary incontinence or anuria. This report aims to emphasize how important it is that the veterinary doctor, being aware of these conditions, could plan a logical line of action. The knowledge of the surgical techniques will allow the veterinary to be prepared to use them when they are necessary, as, for instance, in the case of a leiomyoma, compromising the function of the urethral drainage(AU)
