Resumo
Eclipta dendensis Nascimento & Santos Silva, 2017 (nomen nudum) is validated. The Neotropical Eclipta Bates, 1873, together with five other genera, composes a generic complex in Rhinotragini, which were previously allocated in Ommata White, 1855. In Brazil, many species of Eclipta are distributed in the Amazon and Atlantic forest regions. In this work, Eclipta dendensis sp. nov. from the Brazilian Atlantic Forest is described and illustrated.(AU)
