The diagnosis was made based on the animal's anamnesis, epidemiological information, clinical history and skin scrapings, through the microscopic visualization of the adult forms of Psoroptes spp. The therapeutic course was performed through topical and environmental treatment, with proved effective. Psoroptic mange is caused by Psoroptes spp., a mite that can parasitize horses, cattle, sheep and goats.
