ABSTRACT
The pathologies that affect the reproductive systems are occurring more frequently in veterinarymedicine, because diseases are multifactorial, so may be regional variations in the incidence of certainreproductive abnormalities. This work was conducted a survey of breeding occurrences in domestic cats, theyparticipated in the Department of Animal husbandry (SRA) of the Veterinary Hospital, located at UniversidadeFederal Rural da Amazônia (UFRA). In the period of 1 March 2013 to 2015, 18 December was 472 catsparticipated in the metropolitan area of Bethlehem, they being 432 females and 40 males, which was related tothe factors of race, gender, and age. Most of the animals were stray animals and adult age group, mostlyfemales affected in different reproductive organs, with disease in the uterus and ovaries and occurrence as rarecases of cystic Dysplasia, puerperal metritis, stump pyometra, ovarian cancer and endometrial polyps. Inaddition, there was interest in animals to seek prenatal diagnosis of pregnancy of animals.(AU)
