Resumo
Um felino, fêmea, de seis anos de idade, chegou a clínica veterinária com o histórico de dificuldade em defecar há alguns dias, que estava sem comer e que tinha vomitado. Ao exame clínico observouse que o animal estava apático e com uma grande distensão abdominal. Ao exame radiográfico foi confirmada a compactação em região de cólon e reto. O animal foi submetido à cirurgia de laparotomia exploratória, onde foi realizada uma colotomia para a remoção das fezes impactadas. Todo o intestino foi examinado, onde não foi encontrado outras alterações. Após dez dias o animal voltou à clínica para a retirada dos pontos, apresentando uma boa recuperação. To the examination physician observed itself that the animal was indifferent and with a great abdominal increase. To the radiographic examination he was confirmed the impactação in region of colon and rectum. The animal was submitted the surgery of explorer laparotomy, where a colotomy for to remove of impactadas excrements was carried through. All the intestine was examined, where it was not found others alterations. After ten days the animal came back the clinic toward the withdrawal of the suture, where a good recovery was observed.(AU)
