Resumo
No presente estudo, utilizaram-se dez cadelas com diagnóstico de neoplasia mamária provenientes do atendimento de rotina do Hospital Veterinário da Universidade de Marília. Avaliou-se a efetividade da técnica infiltrativa por tumescência no procedimento de mastectomia em cadelas, bem como a pesquisa do linfonodo sentinela por aplicação intradérmica peritumoral do corante azul de metileno, verificando a interferência entre as técnicas, quando realizadas simultaneamente. Em todos os animais submetidos ao experimento não foram observadas alterações significativas tanto dos parâmetros transoperatórios bem como interferência entre as técnicas. A técnica infiltrativa por tumescência facilitou a ressecção cirúrgica da cadeira mamária, diminuindo o tempo e a hemorragia do procedimento. O corante azul de metileno difundiu-se pela cadeia linfática, sendo eficaz na identificação do linfonodo sentinela.(AU)This present study used 10 female dogs with the diagnosis of mammary neoplasia attended for in Veterinary Hospital of the University of Marília. The efficiency of the tumescent infiltrative technique in the mastectomy procedure in bitches, as well as the research of the sentinel lymph node by intradermal peritumoral application of blue of methilen dye, were evaluated, verifying if there was interference between the techniques when performed simultaneously. In all the animals submitted to the experiment, no significant alterations were observed in the trans-operatory parameters as well as interference between the techniques. The tumescent infiltrative technique eased the surgical resection of the mammary chain, shortening the duration of the procedure and diminishing hemorrhage. The blue of methilen dye diffused through the lymph circulation, being efficient in the identification of the sentinel lymph node.(AU)
