Resumo
For the first time, forty sporadic cases of non epidemic infectious hepatitis of fulminant fatal form have been studied, according to Lucké & Mallory"s criteria (1946). The concept of subacute form is limited to the 50 called precocious subacute hepatitis (Stokes & Miller, 1946), that is, at the early stage of the evolution and without cirrhotic alterations. It is presented also a study of the degeneration, necrosis and regeneration of the liver cells, the bile duct proliferation, the sinusoidal appearance, the intersticial infiltration, arteries and veins and reticular frame.São estudados, pela primeira vez, 40 casos esporádicos de hepatite infecciosa, forma fatal fulminante, de acordo com o critério de Luché & Mallory, 1946.
