Resumo

Urban environment is propitious atmosphere for many species of bats, especially the insectivores food habits, due to favorable conditions, such as food offer and shelter, factors which increase the possibility of reproduction and the consequent increase in the population of certain species (Bredt et al. 1998). The insectivore bat Molossus molossus is one of these species (Silva et al. 1996; Bredt and Uieda 1996). It occurs in South Florida (USA), Caribbean, and Latin America, with most austral records in the north of Argentina (Dolan 1989).
