Resumo
The AA. observed the origin of the arteriae metacarpeae palmares profundae medialis and lateralis in 34 thoracic limbs, concerning to 17 adult asinines (males and females). They recognized the following arrangements: a) the a. metacarpea palmaris profunda medialis arises from the a. mediana, after the origin of the a. metacarpea palmaris profunda lateralis 21 cases (61.7% ± 8.3); b) the aa. metacarpeae palmares profundae medialis and lateralis arise, from the a. mediana by a common stem 9 cases (26.5%± 7.5); c) the a. metacarpea palmaris profimda medialis arises from the a. mediana, before the origin of the a. metacarpea palmaris profunda lateralis 4 cases (11.8% ± 5.5).O artigo apresenta resumo em inglês.
