Resumo
An experimental culture with approximately 17,446 spats of Crassostrea gigas (Thunberg, 1795), imported from Sendai, Japan, was carried out in the estuarine lagoon of Cananéia (25°05'S; 48°0l'W) in two Stations. After 4 months the following results were obtained: Station I - Average shell length - 3,4 cm - Average shell height - 6,4 cm - Average shell weight - 15,33 g - Average meat weight - 4,6 g - Survival rateCerca de 17446 sementes de Crassostrea gigas (Thunberg, 1795) foram importadas de Sendai, Japão, transportadas para a região estuarina lagunar de Cananéia (25°05'S; 48°01'W) e distribuídas em duas estações.
