Resumo
Dez grupos (uma fêmea e dois machos) foram mantidos em caixas plásticas com substratos: natural, aguapé (A) e artificial, kakaban (K), obtendo-se 109 (A) e 70 (K) posturas (P < 0,05), fecundidade 4 a 97 (A) e 8 a 716 (K) (P < 0,05), 1 a 46 (A) e 1 a 86 (K) dias entre as posturas (P < 0,05). Quantificaram-se distintas fases de desenvolvimento dos ovócitos entre os substratos: cromatina-nucléolo, perinucleolar, alvéolo cortical, vitelogênese, maduro e folículos pós-ovulatórios, exceto atresia. A fecundidade foi superior nos peixes mantidos em kakabans, indicando-o como substrato ideal para desovas.(AU)Ten groups (one female and two males) were kept in plastic boxs with substrates: natural, aquatic vegetation (A) and artificial kakaban (K), obtaining 109 (A) and 70 (K) postures (P < 0.05 ), fecundity 4-97 (A) and 8-716 (K) (P < 0.05), 1 to 46 (A) and 1 to 86 (K) days between the postures (P < 0.05). It was quantified the different development stages of oocytes of the substrates in chromatin-nucleolus, perinucleolar, cortical alveoli, vitellogenesis, mature and post-ovulatory follicles, except atresia. Fertility was higher in fish kept in kakabans, indicating it as an ideal substrate for spawning.(AU)
