A avicultura se destaca pelo alto grau de tecnificação, com isso o frango de corte se caracteriza pelo excelente desempenho zootécnico, assim, o grau de moagem da matéria-prima tem influenciado alguns aspectos de importância técnica e econômica na produção de aves, tais como: custo de produção da ração, digestibilidade e nutrientes. O objetivo do trabalho foi avaliar o fornecimento de areia suja e de pedrisco sobre o desempenho zootécnico e rendimento de carcaça de aves de linhagem caipira Label Rouge. O experimento teve a duração de 71 dias e foi realizado no setor de avicultura da Universidade Federal do Acre no período de maio a julho de 2017. Foram utilizados 300 pintos de um dia, o modelo experimental consistiu no delineamento inteiramente casualizado DIC, divididos em 3 tratamentos (tratamento controle, oferecimento de areia suja e oferecimento de pedrisco) e 10 repetições. As avaliações foram realizadas em intervalos de 14 dias, o rendimento de carcaça, órgãos. gordura abdominal e cortes nobres aos 71 dias. Não houve diferença significativa entre nenhum dos tratamentos testados no experimento. O oferecimento de areia suja ou do pedrisco não apresentou nenhuma melhora no desempenho produtivo das aves de linhagem caipira Label Rouge.PIRES, João Paulo Moraes. The experiment lasted 71 days and was carried out in the poultry sector of the Federal University of Acre in the period from May to July 2017. 300 chicks were used one day, the experimental model consisted entirely of randomized DIC, divided into 3 treatments (control treatment, dirty sand offering and Pedrisco offering) and 10 repetitions. Evaluations were performed at 14-day intervals, carcass yield, organs. Abdominal fat and noble cuts at 71 days. There was no significant difference between any of the treatments tested in the experiment. The offering of dirty sand or the Pedrisco has not shown any improvement in the production performance of the peasant lineage Label Rouge birds.
