In bovine dairy farming, many diseases can affect calf rearing, such as diarrhea, pneumonia and the bovine parasite sadness (TPB). The TPB causes high morbidity and mortality in the calves, and is caused by the protozoan Babesia bovis, Babesia bigmina e pela Rickettsia Anaplasma. The disease affects the animals between the ages of 2 and 9 months old and cause apathy, debility, fever, anemia, weight loss, among other symptoms. However, it has been seen in calf treated with diminazene aceturate associated with tetracycline, election treatment for the TBP, are not getting better. As the tripanosomiasis has risen in the region of Triângulo Mineiro and promotes clinical signs similar to the ones in TPB and since we know that Trypanosoma vivax is resistant to the referred medicine, merges the suspicion of the impairment of the animals by T. vivax. Therefore, this present study aims to perform a pathological and serological survey upon the calves between the ages of 2 and 9 months old with and without clinical signs of TPB, in the Uberaba-MG region expecting to find out the prevalence of B. bovis, b. bigemina, A, marginale e T. vivax. For that, 186 calves were divided into two groups: G1 (n=93) composed by animals without any clinical signs and G2 (n=93) with the clinical signs. In the parasitological (ears scraping and leukocyte papa) the calves (G1 and G2) did not presente merozoites of B. bovis, B. bigemina morula of A. marginale, or trypomastigotes of T. vivax. In the serological analysis (RIFI and ELISA) was noticed that the prevalence of antibodies anti IgG to the etiologic agents of TPB in the G1 and G2 were 72,27% and 73,12%, and T. vivax in the G1 and G2 were 21,50% and 33,33% respectively. The prevalence of atibodies in the coinfections were higher in the relations of deseases isolated in the G2 (p<0,005). In the Tripanosomiasis there was a significant difference (p<0,005), between the male and female of the G1 and G2. In the coinfections, there was a significant difference (p<0,005), in the age range and in the breed, being higher in the age range between 2 and 3 months old and in the doutch breed. In this contexto, it can be concluded that doutch calves have aitibodies anti-Babesia bovis, anti-Babesia bigmina, anti-Anaplasma marginale and anti-Trypanosoma vivax and that a differential diagnostic of TBP and tripanosomiasis, is important for the correct treatment advocacy, once the calves between 2 and 9 months old are affected by both etiological agents.
