Resumo

As atividades voltadas para a exploração da fauna silvestre sempre foram importantes para subsistência humana, ocorrendo em toda floresta tropical do mundo e com grande visibilidade na Amazônia, onde são utilizadas grande diversidade de espécies para fins religiosos, artesanato ou comércio. Com o avanço da urbanização nas cidades amazônicas, a demanda por proteína animal de origem silvestre apresenta uma tendência de aumento no consumo na área urbana, fazendo com que muitos caçadores passassem a comercializar de forma ilegal a carne de caça constituindo-se como fonte alternativa de renda. Entretanto, a literatura sobre o consumo de caça cinegética em áreas urbanas possui poucos estudos, inclusive na região do Vale do Juruá, dificultando a tomada de decisões pelo poder público e o direcionamento de ações efetivas para 12 mitigar os danos decorrentes desta atividade. O objetivo desse trabalho foi analisar os fatores 13 que contribuem para o consumo de proteína animal advinda da fauna silvestre no município de 14 Cruzeiro do Sul - Acre; pela aplicação de questionários anônimos semiestruturados, com 15 perguntas sensíveis e que foram aplicados através da rede mundial de computadores, utilizando 16 a plataforma GoogleForms. Por meio destes dados identificamos as relações socioeconômicas 17 e de predileções que levam ao consumo da carne de caça em áreas urbanas, quantificando e 18 identificando as espécies. Identificamos que os elementos que contribui para esse hábito estão 19 atrelados a costumes trazidos pela migração rural-urbana de pessoas. Fato este, recorrente na 20 Amazônia, não tendo ligação atual com subsistência, mas atrelado o consumo a famílias com 21 maior poder aquisitivo.

The aim of the project is to analyze 46 the factors that contribute to the consumption of animal protein from wild fauna in the city of 47 Cruzeiro do Sul - Acre; by the application of anonymous semi-structured questionnaires, with 48 sensitive questions and which were applied through the world wide web, using the 49 GoogleForms platform. Through these data, we identified the socioeconomic and predilection 50 relationships that lead to bush meat consumption in urban areas, quantifying and identifying 51 the species. We identified that the elements that contribute to this habit are linked to customs 52 brought about by the rural-urban migration of the recurrent human being in the Amazon, having 53 no current connection with subsistence, but linked consumption to families with greater 54 purchasing power.
