The production of citric seedlings involve the sexual propagation of the rootstocks and asexual (grafting) of the scion varieties. The seeds of citrus are, in majority, poliembryonics, what results in emergency of more than one embryo, being necessary the realization of "rouguing", leaving only the more vigorous seedling and consequently, eliminating the other seedlings. However, is notable in orchards the variability existent among the plants, be as the precocity of production, quality of fruits, or tolerance to diseases. Due to this, had the objective to evaluate the efficiency of visual selection realized in nurseries of citric seedlings, verifying by the use of molecular marker (fAFLP), the genetic identificy of the materiais each other and when compared with a main plant, besides to realize a study regarding to asexual propagation of the rootstocks, by cutting, evaluating the influence of the epoch of collect of the cuttings, growth regulator dose (indolbutiric acid), concentration of Carbon and Nitrogen, in percentages of survival and rooting of the cuttings, number medium of the roots by cutting and length medium of the roots. Were utilized four species of rootstocks: Rangpur lime (Citrus limonia), Sunki mandarin (Citrus sunkl), Cleopatra mandarin (Citrus reshm), and Citrumelo Swingle (Citrus paradise x Poncirus trifoliata)
