This care includes screening for undernutrition and its risk factors, assessment of intake and feeding difficulties, enrichment of oral nutrition, enteral and parenteral nutrition. Given the complexity and importance of these tasks, a multi-professional approach involving a transverse nutrition unit is beneficial.
