RESUMO

Acute lung injury (ALI) is associated with the leukocyte infiltration and inflammation. Previous studies have shown that miR-146a is a valid regulator of the macrophage polarization in vitro inflammatory model. However, it is unclear whether miR-146a plays a protective role in ALI via modulating macrophage inflammation. To explore the potential therapeutic effect mechanism of miR-146a on ALI. We analyzed the expression of miR-146a in acute injured lung tissues and differentiated macrophage. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) were employed in provoking the macrophage to polarization. We used miR-146a mimics to improve the overexpression of miR-146a and investigated the effect of increased miR-146a on LPS-induced ALI mice via the target of macrophage polarization. We showed that the expression of miR-146a markedly decreased in injured lung tissue and type M1 macrophage, while increased miR-146a expression exhibited in type M2 macrophage. Moreover, overexpression of miR-146a in LPS-induced macrophage reversed inflammatory M1 phenotype to anti-inflammatory M2 phenotype and mitigated inflammatory level via inhibiting Notch 1 signaling pathway. Hence, inflammation, infiltration, integrity of capillary barrier, and histology in ALI model were corrected after miR-146a overexpression treatment. These results suggested that miR-146a promotes type M2 macrophage polarization via restraining Notch 1 signaling pathway. Overexpression of miR-146a prevents inflammation damage and ameliorates lung damage after LPS induction. Therefore, miR-146a may serve as a promising target for the therapy of ALI in the future.

A synchronous crystal- and microstructure-dependent strategy was implemented to synthesize the organic hybrid antimoniotungstate layered ionic crystal Na5.5H6.5[(SbW9O33)2{WO2(OH)}2{WO2}RuC7H3NO4]·36H2O, and the layered structure was constructed through the Na+ bridged sheet and the hydrogen-bonded layers. It displayed an effective proton conductivity of 2.97 × 10-2 S cm-1 at 348 K and 75% RH, owing to the complete interlayer confined hydrogen-bond network formed by the hydrogens of interlayer crystal waters, organic ligands ({RuC7H3NO4}2+, {C7H3NO4} is formed by the hydrolysis of pyridine 2,5-dicarboxylic acid (C7H5NO4)), and acidic protons (H+), along with the interlayer domain as a transport channel. Furthermore, the hydrogen-bond network originating from interlayer organic ligands and acidic protons was more stable at a higher temperature of 423 K, preserving a high conductivity of 1.99 × 10-2 S cm-1.

To explore the characteristics of semantic cognitive development of school children by observing the development changes over 10 years, a retrospective event-related potential (ERP) study was conducted on the semantic processing characteristics of Chinese characters in children aged 7-11 years with the same study design in 2009 and 2019. For the EEGs recorded in 2009, the N400 amplitude of semantic processing in children aged 7-11 years showed an approximately inverted U-shaped development trend with a slow rise at the age of 7-9, a peak at the age of 10, then a rapid decline at the age of 11. However, for the EEGs recorded in 2019, the N400 amplitude showed a gradually decreasing development trend with a slow decline for the 7-11 years class. Our data suggested that the semantic processing of Chinese characters in children aged 7-11 years in 2019 was one age stage earlier than that in 2009. The children's brain cognition is in the process of development and change with high plasticity. 10 years of favorable social and educational environmental factors have significantly improved children's semantic processing ability of Chinese characters.

A heteropolytungstate cluster [{Ru2O(bpy)2}2{Bi2W32O110}]10- (bpy = C10H8N2) was incorporated into a 2 : 1 type layered porous framework by interweaving the Na+ bridged cluster chains through the hydrogen bonding ability of the bpy ligands. It features multiple pore channels rich in hydrogen-bond network, contributing high conductivities > 10-2 S cm-1 at 298-358 K and 85% RH.
