Two new species of Medetera Fischer von Waldheim (Diptera, Dolichopodidae) from Russia and Mongolia.

Two new species Medetera sakhalinensis Negrobov & Naglis sp. nov. from Russian Far East (Sakhalin) and M. emeljanovi Negrobov & Naglis sp. nov. from Mongolia are described and differential diagnosis are given.

Two new species of Chrysotus Meigen (Diptera, Dolichopodidae) from Siberia, with a key to the Siberian species.

Two new species from the southern tundra of the Taimyr Peninsula (Russia) are described. Chrysotus tricaudatus Negrobov, Barkalov & Selivanova sp. nov. is similar to C. albibarbus Loew, but can be distinguished by its brown palpus with black setae, yellow hind tibia and base of hind tarsus, and features of the male genitalia. Chrysotus komovi Negrobov, Barkalov & Selivanova sp. nov. is similar to C. obscuripes Zetterstedt, but can be distinguished by features of the male genitalia. A key to all Siberian species of the genus is also presented along with figures of diagnostic morphological characters. 

Catalogue of the Diptera (Insecta) of Morocco- an annotated checklist, with distributions and a bibliography.

The faunistic knowledge of the Diptera of Morocco recorded from 1787 to 2021 is summarized and updated in this first catalogue of Moroccan Diptera species. A total of 3057 species, classified into 948 genera and 93 families (21 Nematocera and 72 Brachycera), are listed. Taxa (superfamily, family, genus and species) have been updated according to current interpretations, based on reviews in the literature, the expertise of authors and contributors, and recently conducted fieldwork. Data to compile this catalogue were primarily gathered from the literature. In total, 1225 references were consulted and some information was also obtained from online databases. Each family was reviewed and the checklist updated by the respective taxon expert(s), including the number of species that can be expected for that family in Morocco. For each valid species, synonyms known to have been used for published records from Morocco are listed under the currently accepted name. Where available, distribution within Morocco is also included. One new combination is proposed: Assuaniamelanoleuca (Séguy, 1941), comb. nov. (Chloropidae).

Two new species of Thrypticus Gerstäcker from Turkey (Diptera, Dolichopodidae), with checklist and key to Palaearctic species.

Thrypticus caeruleus Naglis Negrobov sp. nov. and T. kechevi Naglis Negrobov sp. nov. are newly described from Turkey. Thrypticus viridis Parent is redescribed and the hypopygium is figured in detail. A revised checklist and key to males of Palaearctic species of the genus Thrypticus Gerstäcker including 26 valid species are provided. Thrypticus paludicola Negrobov is restored from synonymy with T. intercedens Negrobov based on hypopygial differences. Thrypticus tonsus Negrobov is regarded as new synonym of T. subtilis Negrobov.

Review of East Palaearctic species of Sympycnus Loew, 1857, with a key to species.

Four new species of Sympycnus Loew, 1857, S. ferganicus sp. nov., S. leleji sp. nov., S. stackelbergi sp. nov. and S. yakutensis sp. nov. from Russia (Yakutia), Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are described. Sympycnus convergens Negrobov, 1973 and S. urgaicus Negrobov, 1973 are placed in synonymy with S. changaicus Negrobov (syn. nov.). Lectotype and paralectotypes are designated for Sympycnus simplicipes Becker, 1908. A checklist of the East Palaearctic species of the genus is compiled and a key to males of the 14 species is provided. Five species groups are defined. New data on the distribution of known species are presented. The known distribution of East Palaearctic Sympycnus species is briefly discussed.
