RESUMO

The homeostatic link between oxidative stress and autophagy plays an important role in cellular responses to a wide variety of physiological and pathological conditions. However, the regulatory pathway and outcomes remain incompletely understood. Here, we show that reactive oxygen species (ROS) function as signaling molecules that regulate autophagy through ataxia-telangiectasia mutated (ATM) and cell cycle checkpoint kinase 2 (CHK2), a DNA damage response (DDR) pathway activated during metabolic and hypoxic stress. We report that CHK2 binds to and phosphorylates Beclin 1 at Ser90/Ser93, thereby impairing Beclin 1-Bcl-2 autophagy-regulatory complex formation in a ROS-dependent fashion. We further demonstrate that CHK2-mediated autophagy has an unexpected role in reducing ROS levels via the removal of damaged mitochondria, which is required for cell survival under stress conditions. Finally, CHK2-/- mice display aggravated infarct phenotypes and reduced Beclin 1 p-Ser90/Ser93 in a cerebral stroke model, suggesting an in vivo role of CHK2-induced autophagy in cell survival. Taken together, these results indicate that the ROS-ATM-CHK2-Beclin 1-autophagy axis serves as a physiological adaptation pathway that protects cells exposed to pathological conditions from stress-induced tissue damage.

RESUMO

The pathogenesis of allergic rhinitis (AR)-related olfactory dysfunction (OD) remains unknown. Inhibiting microglial response in olfactory bulb (OB) can ameliorate AR-related OD, but no precise targets have been available. In this study, we established a mouse model of ovalbumin (OVA)-induced AR and combined with the application of P2X7 receptor (P2X7R)-specific antagonists and cell culture in conditioned medium to investigate the role and mechanism of OB microglial P2X7R in AR-related OD. Serum IgE and IL-5 levels determined via ELISA and federated the number of nose-scratching to affirm the success of OVA-induced AR mouse model. Buried food pellet test was used to evaluate the olfactory function of mice. The changes of IBA1, GFAP, P2X7R, IL-1ß, IL-1Ra, and CASPASE 1 were detected by quantitative polymerase chain reaction and western blotting. The levels of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) were determined by the commercialized kit. The morphological changes of microglia were assessed using immunofluorescence staining and Sholl analysis. Findings showed that AR-related OD was associated with OB microglia-mediated imbalance between IL-1ß and IL-1Ra. Treatment with BBG improved the olfactory function in AR mice with restoring the balance between IL-1ß and IL-1Ra. In vitro, the conditioned medium obtained after HNEpC treatment with Der p1 could activate HMC3 to arise inflammatory reaction basing on "ATP-P2X7R-Caspase 1" axis, while inhibition of its P2X7R suppressed the reaction. In brief, microglial P2X7R in OB is a direct effector molecule in AR-related OD and inhibition of it may be a new strategy for the treatment of AR-related OD.

RESUMO

In addition to typical nasal symptoms, patients with allergic rhinitis (AR) will further lead to symptoms related to brain function such as hyposmia, anxiety, depression, cognitive impairment, memory loss, etc., which seriously affect the quality of life of patients and bring a heavy burden to the patient's family and society. Some scholars have speculated that there may be potential "nose-brain communication" mechanism in AR that rely on neuro-immunity. This mechanism plays an important role in AR-associated brain response process. However, no study has directly demonstrated which neural circuits will change in the connection between the nose and brain during the onset of AR, and the mechanism which underlines this question is also lack. Focusing on the topic of "nose-brain communication", this paper systematically summarizes the latest research progress between AR and related brain responses and discusses the mechanism of AR-related neurological phenotypes. Hope new diagnostic and therapeutic targets to ameliorate the brain function-related symptoms and improve the quality of life of AR patients will be developed.

RESUMO

Allergic rhinitis (AR) is a chronic upper airway immune-inflammation response mediated by immunoglobulin E (IgE) to allergens and can seriously affect the quality of life and work efficiency. Previous studies have shown that interleukin-1ß (IL-1ß) acts as a key cytokine to participate in and promote the occurrence and development of allergic diseases. It has been proposed that IL-1ß may be a potential biomarker of AR. However, its definitive role and potential mechanism in AR have not been fully elucidated, and the clinical sample collection and detection methods were inconsistent among different studies, which have limited the use of IL-1ß as a clinical diagnosis and treatment marker for AR. This article systematically summarizes the research advances in the roles of IL-1ß in allergic diseases, focusing on the changes of IL-1ß in AR and the possible interventions. In addition, based on the findings by our team, we provided new insights into the use of IL-1ß in AR diagnosis and treatment, in an attempt to further promote the clinical application of IL-1ß in AR and other allergic diseases.

RESUMO

In multiple types of cancer, decreased tumour cell apoptosis during chemotherapy is indicative of decreased chemosensitivity. Forkhead box K2 (FOXK2), which is essential for cell fate, regulates cancer cell apoptosis through several post-translational modifications. However, FOXK2 acetylation has not been extensively studied. Here, we evaluated the effects of sirtiun 1 (SIRT1) on FOXK2 deacetylation. Our findings demonstrated that SIRT1 inhibition increased FOXK2-induced chemosensitivity to cisplatin and that K223 in FOXK2 was acetylated. Furthermore, FOXK2 K223 deacetylation reduced chemosensitivity to cisplatin in vitro and in vivo. Mechanistically, FOXK2 was acetylated by the acetyltransferase cAMP response element binding protein and deacetylated by SIRT1. Furthermore, cisplatin attenuated the interaction between FOXK2 and SIRT1. Cisplatin or SIRT1 inhibition enhanced FOXK2 acetylation, thereby reducing the nuclear distribution of FOXK2. Additionally, FOXK2 K223 acetylation significantly affected the expression of cell cycle-related and apoptosis-related genes in cisplatin-stimulated cancer cells, and FOXK2 K223 hyperacetylation promoted mitotic catastrophe, which enhanced chemosensitivity to cisplatin. Overall, our results provided insights into the mechanisms of SIRT1-mediated FOXK2 deacetylation, which was involved in chemosensitivity to cisplatin.

RESUMO

Excessive exposure to UVB induces skin diseases. Silibinin, a flavonolignan used for treating liver diseases, is found to be effective against UVB-caused skin epidermal and dermal cell damage. In this study we investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying. Human nonmalignant immortalized keratinocyte HaCaT cells and neonatal human foreskin fibroblasts HFFs were exposed to UVB irradiation. We showed that pre-treatment with silibinin dose-dependently decreased UVB-induced apoptosis of HaCaT cells. Furthermore, we showed that silibinin treatment inhibited nuclear translocation of YAP after UVB irradiation. Molecular docking analysis and DARTS assay confirmed the direct interaction of silibinin with YAP. Silencing YAP by siRNA had no influence on the survival of HaCaT cells, whereas inhibiting classical YAP-TEAD signaling pathway by siRNA targeting TEAD1 or its pharmaceutical inhibitor verteporfin further augmented UVB-induced apoptosis, suggesting that YAP-TEAD pathway was prosurvival, which did not participate in the protective effect of silibinin. We then explored the pro-apoptotic YAP-p73 pathway. p73 was upregulated in UVB-irradiated cells, but reduced by silibinin cotreatment. The mRNA and protein levels of p73 target genes (PML, p21 and Bax) were all increased by UVB but decreased by silibinin co-treatment. Inhibiting p73 by using siRNA reduced UVB-induced apoptosis, suggesting that downregulation of p73 was responsible for the cytoprotective effect of silibinin. In HFFs, the upregulated YAP-p73 pathway by UVB irradiation was also suppressed by silibinin. Collectively, YAP-p73 pathway is a major cause of the death of UVB-exposed epidermal HaCaT cells and dermal HFFs. Silibinin directly inhibits YAP-p73 pathway, exerting the protective action on UVB-irradiated skin cells.

RESUMO

The retina is an extension of the brain. Like the brain, neurodegeneration of the retina occurs with age and is the cause of several retinal diseases including optic neuritis, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. Liver X receptors (LXRs) are expressed in the brain where they play a key role in maintenance of cerebrospinal fluid and the health of dopaminergic neurons. Herein, we report that LXRs are expressed in the retina and optic nerve and that loss of LXRß, but not LXRα, leads to loss of ganglion cells in the retina. In the retina of LXRß-/- mice, there is an increase in amyloid A4 and deposition of beta-amyloid (Aß) aggregates but no change in the level of apoptosis or autophagy in the ganglion cells and no activation of microglia or astrocytes. However, in the optic nerve there is a loss of aquaporin 4 (AQP4) in astrocytes and an increase in activation of microglia. Since loss of AQP4 and microglial activation in the optic nerve precedes the loss of ganglion cells, and accumulation of Aß in the retina, the cause of the neuronal loss appears to be optic nerve degeneration. In patients with optic neuritis there are frequently AQP4 autoantibodies which block the function of AQP4. LXRß-/- mouse is another model of optic neuritis in which AQP4 antibodies are not detectable, but AQP4 function is lost because of reduction in its expression.

RESUMO

Five terpenoids (1-5), including three new ent-kaurane diterpenoids (1-3), one new ent-rosane type diterpenoid (4) and one known triterpenoid (5), were isolated from stigma maydis (Zea mays L.). The structures of the compounds were elucidated by comprehensive spectroscopic analyses. The relative configurations of stigmanes A-D (1-4) were determined by NOESY experiments. In addition, the relative configuration of stigmane D (4) was further established by NMR calculations. The absolute configurations of these compounds were identified by a comparison of experimental and calculated specific rotations. The neuroprotective effects of these compounds against H2O2-induced injury in human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells were evaluated, and the results showed that among the compounds, 2 exhibited the most significant neuroprotection. Further study demonstrated that 2 could activate nuclear factor E2-related factor (Nrf2), downregulate apoptosis and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, and increase antioxidant enzyme activities in SH-SY5Y cells. However, the neuroprotective effect was reversed when Nrf2 was silenced. In conclusion, this study suggested that terpenoids from stigma maydis exerted neuroprotective effects through Nrf2 activation.

RESUMO

OBJECTIVE: To identify the risk factors of ESKAPE pathogens infection and related death in cancer patients, and to supply evidence for clinical precaution and diagnosis. METHODS: A retrospective study of clinical and experimental data of cancer patients with bloodstream infection were carried out in Sichuan Cancer Hospital from 2013 to 2018. The clinical feature, predisposing factors and risk factors of death in ESKAPE group and non-ESKAPE group were analyzed by univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression. RESULTS: A total of 753 patients were enrolled in the study. Totally 795 pathogenic bacteria strains were isolated from blood culture and there were 278 ESKAPE strains, which took up 34.97% of isolated strains. Univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that gender of male, multiple pathogens, history of exposure to enzyme inhibitors and agranulocytosis were independent risk factors of ESKAPE pathogens bloodstream infection. Peritoneal infection and combined fungal infection were independent risk factors of ESKAPE bloodstream infection related death. CONCLUSION: The bloodstream infection of ESKAPE pathogens is a problem worthy of clinical attention for cancer patients with neutrophil deficiency, previous antibiotic exposure, and fungal infection and peritoneal infection.

RESUMO

Quassinoids are a class of highly oxygenated degraded triterpenoids exclusively discovered from plants of the Simaroubaceae family. In this study, eight new (1-8) and 15 known quassinoids (9-23) were isolated from an extract of the stems of Picrasma quassioides. The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analysis and electronic circular dichroism spectra combined with quantum chemical calculations. Compounds 4 and 5 represent the first examples of 18-nor-quassinoids from P. quassioides. All isolates were screened for their neuroprotective activities toward H2O2-induced cell damage in SH-SY5Y cells. Further study revealed that the potential protective activities of these compounds appeared to occur via the suppression of cell apoptosis and downregulation of caspase-3 activation.

RESUMO

A pair of new cycloneolignan enantiomers (1a and 1b) were isolated from the leaves of Isatis indigotica Fortune. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic data analysis, including 1D and 2D NMR, HRESIMS, MS/MS analysis, together with theoretical electronic circular dichroism (ECD) calculations. Compounds 1a and 1b were then evaluated for their neuroprotective effects against MPP+-induced SH-SY5Y cell injury. As a result, compounds 1a (77.64%) and 1b (78.62%) exhibited moderate neuroprotective activity at the concentration of 12.5 µM compared with that of MPP+ treated group (62.00% at 1 mM) by MTT assay. Furthermore, Annexin V-FITC/PI analysis showed that apoptosis ratios of 1a and 1b were reduced to 10.99% and 9.31%, respectively.

RESUMO

One new 1,3-diphenylpropane (1) together with six known analogues (2-7) were firstly isolated from the stem and root bark of Daphne giraldii. Their structures were determined by comprehensive NMR and HRESIMS spectroscopic data analyses. All the isolates were evaluated for their cytotoxicity against two hepatocellular carcinoma cell lines (HepG2 and Hep3B). Among them, compound 5 showed the most significant cytotoxicity against Hep3B cells, with an IC50 value of 17.21 µM. A further study demonstrated that 5 obviously induced apoptotic cell death as well as the inactivation of nuclear factor kappa B p65 (NF-κB p65) in Hep3B cells. In addition, BAY 11-7082 (BAY), a NF-кB inhibitor, was used to determine the role of NF-кB signaling in 5-treated Hep3B cells. The results suggested that BAY could enhance 5-induced apoptosis of Hep3B cells. In conclusion, the data provided that 5 might be a potential candidate for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma through NF-κB inhibition.

RESUMO

Two 8-O-4'-type neolignan epimers erythro-guaiacylglycerol-ß-coniferyl aldehyde ether (1) and threo-guaiacylglycerol-ß-coniferyl aldehyde ether (2) were isolated from the stems of Picrasma quassioides. Further chiral separation gave two pairs of enantiomers 1a/1b and 2a/2b. The cytotoxicity assay against hepatocellular carcinoma Hep3B and HepG2 cells was evaluated by MTT assay. The results showed that 1b (IC50 = 45.56 µM) and 2b (IC50 = 39.02 µM) had more cytotoxic effect than its enantiomers 1a (IC50 = 82.66 µM) and 2a (IC50 = 67.97 µM) in Hep3B cells, respectively. Moreover, 1b and 2b could induce more apoptotic cells as well as higher reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation than 1a and 2a at 50 µM. In addition, a further study on the phosphoinositide 3-kinase (PI3K)/AKT and mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase (MEK)/extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathways was investigated. The results revealed that all compounds had no significant effect on PI3K/AKT pathway, however, 1b and 2b attenuated the relative levels of p-MEK and p-ERK when compared with 1a and 2a. Taken together, the absolute configurations of guaiacylglycerol-ß-coniferyl aldehyde ether had an impact on the inhibitory effect on Hep3B cells. The inactivation of MEK/ERK signaling pathway might contribute to apoptosis induction and ROS generation in 1b- and 2b-treated cells.

RESUMO

Pseudolaric acid B (PAB), a diterpene acid isolated from the root bark of Pseudolarix kaempferi Gordon, exerts anti-tumor effects in several cancer cell lines. Our previous study showed that PAB mainly induced senescence via p53-p21 activation rather than apoptosis in suppression of the growth of human lung cancer A549 cells (p53 wild-type). In p53-null human lung cancer H1299 cells, however, PAB caused apoptosis without senescence. In this study we investigated what mechanism was responsible for the switch from senescence to apoptosis in PAB-treated human lung cancer cell lines. Senescent cells were examined by SA-ß-gal staining. Glucose uptake and the apoptosis ratio were assessed using a FACScan flow cytometer. Commercial assay kits were used to measure the levels of ATP and lactate. Transfection of siRNA was used to knockdown the expression of p53 or p21. Western blot analysis was applied to measure the protein expression levels. In p53 wild-type A549 cells, PAB (20 µmol/L) caused senescence, and time-dependently increased glucose utilization; knockdown of p53 or p21 significantly decreased the uptake and metabolism of glucose but elevated PAB-induced apoptosis. Inhibition of glucose utilization using a glycolytic inhibitor 2-DG (1 mmol/L) significantly enhanced apoptosis induction. Similar results were observed in another p53 wild-type H460 cells treated with PAB. Opposite results were found in p53-null H1299 cells, where PAB time-dependently decreased glucose utilization, and induced only apoptosis. Our results demonstrate that PAB-induced senescence is associated with enhanced glucose utilization, and lower glucose utilization might contribute to apoptosis induction. Thus, blocking glucose utilization contributes to the switch from senescence to apoptosis, and p53 plays an important role in this process.

RESUMO

The present study focused on the wheat harvest grain protein content (GPC) estimation based on wheat leaf and canopy chlorophyll parameters, SPAD and SFR, which were acquired by two hand-held instruments, SPAD and Multiplex 3. The wheat GPC estimate experiment was applied on a wheat field of the Scientific Observation and Experiment Field Station for Precision Agriculture at suburb of Beijing in 2012. The wheat leaf SPAD and canopy SFR value were measured in field for all 110 wheat sample points at five different wheat growth stages from April to June. The wheat plant sample for each point was then collected after the SPAD and SFR measurement and sent to lab for leaf nitrogen content (LNC) and canopy nitrogen density (CND) analysis. Analysis results showed that the correlation coefficients of wheat GPC with wheat CND were much higher than that from wheat tillering stage to early milking stage. They were similar at the wheat middle milking stage. While the wheat leaf SPAD value was highly correlated with wheat LNC at wheat tillering, heading and early milking stage. Wheat canopy chlorophyll parameters SFR were highly correlated with wheat CND at wheat tillering, jointing, heading and milking stage. It can be seen from the study that SFR is more sensitive to the wheat CND compared with wheat LNC. The analysis also indicated that leaf SPAD value at wheat tillering, heading and milking stage was highly correlated with wheat GPC and yield of grain protein (YGP). The wheat canopy parameters, SFR_G and SFR_R were significantly correlated with wheat GPC and YGP at wheat milking stage. Then the optimal GPC and YGP estimation model was established. The R2 of GPC estimation models established by SPAD and SFR_R are 0.426 and 0.497, and the standard errors of the estimate are 0.060% and 0.055%, respectively. The R2 of YGP estimation models established by SPAD and SFR_R are 0.366 and 0.386 and the standard errors of the estimate are 125.367 and 123.454 kg x ha(-1), respectively. The study reveals that SPAD value is a good indicator of single plant activity while SFR_G and SFR_R are better indicators for the wheat group activity. Wheat leaf SPAD value and canopy chlorophyll fluorescence information SFR are all feasible and valuable for GPC estimation before wheat harvesting.

RESUMO

Leaf area index (LAI) is one of the most important parameters for evaluating winter wheat growth status and forecasting its yield. Hyperspectral remote sensing is a new technical approach that can be used to acquire the instant information of vegetation LAI at large scale. This study aims to explore the capability of least squares support vector machines (LS-SVM) method to winter wheat LAI estimation with hyperspectral data. After the compression of PHI airborne data with principal component analysis (PCA), the sample set based on the measured LAI data and hyperspectral reflectance data was established. Then the method of LS-SVM was developed respectively to estimate winter wheat LAI under four different conditions, to be specific, different plant type cultivars, different periods, different nitrogenous fertilizer and water conditions. Compared with traditional NDVI model estimation results, each experiment of LS-SVM model yielded higher determination coefficient as well as lower RMSE value, which meant that the LS-SVM method performed better than the NDVI method. In addition, NDVI model was unstable for winter wheat under the condition of different plant type cultivars, different nitrogenous fertilizer and different water, while the LS-SVM model showed good stability. RESUMO

Aimed to deal with the limitation of canopy geometry to crop LAI inversion accuracy a new LAI inversion method for different geometrical winter wheat was proposed based on hotspot indices with field-measured experimental data. The present paper analyzed bidirectional reflectance characteristics of erective and loose varieties at red (680 nm) and NIR wavelengths (800 nm and 860 nm) and developed modified normalized difference between hotspot and dark-spot (MNDHD) and hotspot and dark-spot ratio index (HDRI) using hotspot and dark-spot index (HDS) and normalized difference between hotspot and dark-spot (NDHD) for reference. Combined indices were proposed in the form of the product between HDS, NDHD, MNDHD, HDRI and three ordinary vegetation indices NDVI, SR and EVI to inverse LAI for erective and loose wheat. The analysis results showed that LAI inversion accuracy of erective wheat Jing411 were 0.9431 and 0.9092 retrieved from the combined indices between NDVI and MNDHD and HDRI at 860 nm which were better than that of HDS and NDHD, the LAI inversion accuracy of loose wheat Zhongyou9507 were 0.9648 and 0.8956 retrieved from the combined indices between SR and HDRI and MNDHD at 800 nm which were also higher than that of HDS and NDHD. It was finally concluded that the combined indices between hotspot-signature indices and ordinary vegetation indices were feasible enough to inverse LAI for different crop geometrical wheat and multiangle remote sensing data was much more advantageous than perpendicular observation data to extract crop structural parameters.

RESUMO

PURPOSE: This is an extremely rare case of complicated fetal esophageal atresia (EA) with tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) and interrupted inferior vena cava (IVC) diagnosed by prenatal ultrsonography and successfully treated with surgical repair. METHODS: A 35-year-old pregnant woman was referred to our center for prenatal ultrasound, and the fetus was found to have a series of abnormalities, such as an interrupted IVC associated with a dilated azygos vein, an upper neck pouch sign of the thorax, and polyhydramnios. With suspicion of EA with TEF and interrupted IVC, the infant was born at 39 weeks of gestation, and successfully underwent the surgical operation. RESULTS: The baby was doing well after 21 months of follow-up. CONCLUSION: It is beneficial for the prenatal ultrasonic diagnosis of EA with TEF in optimizing labor care, postpartum treatment, and prompting neonatal management.

RESUMO

BACKGROUND: Immune-inflammatory response is a key element in the occurrence and development of olfactory dysfunction (OD) in patients with allergic rhinitis (AR). As one of the core factors in immune-inflammatory responses, interleukin (IL)-6 is closely related to the pathogenesis of allergic diseases. It may also play an important role in OD induced by diseases, such as Sjögren's syndrome and coronavirus disease 2019. However, there is no study has reported its role in OD in AR. Thus, this study aimed to investigate the role of IL-6 in AR-related OD, in an attempt to discover a new target for the prevention and treatment of OD in patients with AR. METHODS: Differential expression analysis was performed using the public datasets GSE52804 and GSE140454 for AR, and differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were obtained by obtaining the intersection points between these two datasets. IL-6, a common differential factor, was obtained by intersecting the DEGs with the General Olfactory Sensitivity Database (GOSdb) again. A model of AR mice with OD was developed by sensitizing with ovalbumin (OVA) to verify the reliability of IL-6 as a key factor of OD in AR and explore the potential mechanisms. Furthermore, a supernatant and microglia co-culture model of nasal mucosa epithelial cells stimulated by the allergen house dust mite extract Derp1 was established to identify the cellular and molecular mechanisms of IL-6-mediated OD in AR. RESULTS: The level of IL-6 in the nasal mucosa and olfactory bulb of AR mice with OD significantly increased and showed a positive correlation with the expression of olfactory bulb microglia marker Iba-1 and the severity of OD. In-vitro experiments showed that the level of IL-6 significantly increased in the supernatant after the nasal mucosa epithelial cells were stimulated by Derp1, along with significantly decreased barrier function of the nasal mucosa. The expression levels of neuroinflammatory markers IL-1ß and INOS increased after a conditioned culture of microglia with the supernatant including IL-6. Then knockdown (KD) of IL-6R by small interfering RNA (siRNA), the expression of IL-1ß and INOS significantly diminished. CONCLUSION: IL-6 plays a key role in the occurrence and development of OD in AR, which may be related to its effect on olfactory bulb microglia-mediated neuroinflammation.

RESUMO

The major limitation of using existing vegetation indices for crop biomass estimation is that it approaches a saturation level asymptotically for a certain range of biomass. In order to resolve this problem, band depth analysis and partial least square regression (PLSR) were combined to establish winter wheat biomass estimation model in the present study. The models based on the combination of band depth analysis and PLSR were compared with the models based on common vegetation indexes from the point of view of estimation accuracy, subsequently. Band depth analysis was conducted in the visible spectral domain (550-750 nm). Band depth, band depth ratio (BDR), normalized band depth index, and band depth normalized to area were utilized to represent band depth information. Among the calibrated estimation models, the models based on the combination of band depth analysis and PLSR reached higher accuracy than those based on the vegetation indices. Among them, the combination of BDR and PLSR got the highest accuracy (R2 = 0.792, RMSE = 0.164 kg x m(-2)). The results indicated that the combination of band depth analysis and PLSR could well overcome the saturation problem and improve the biomass estimation accuracy when winter wheat biomass is large.
