Herein, a fiber-supported iron-based ionic liquid as a type of fibrous catalyst has been developed for the synthesis of bioactive 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-(1H)-ones (DHPMs) via three-component Biginelli reactions in a cleaner manner. The described fibrous catalyst was obtained from the commercially available polyetheretherketone (PEEK) fiber by postfunctionalization processes and was characterized and analyzed in detail by means of diversified technologies. Furthermore, the fiber-supported iron-based ionic liquids could mediate the classical three-component Biginelli reactions to proceed smoothly to gain a variety of substituted DHPMs with yields of up to 99%. The superior catalytic activities of the fibrous catalyst were ascribed to the quasi-homogeneous medium by ionic liquids generated in the surface layer of the PEEK fiber, which could afford an appropriate reaction zone and could further be available for the aggregation of substrates to facilitate the three-component reaction. Notably, the fibrous catalyst is available for recycling over 10 runs just by a pair of tweezers, and the operational procedure was capable of enlarging the catalytic system to the gram-scale without any performance degradation, which provided a cleaner manner to take advantage of the iron-based catalyst in organic synthesis with potential industrialization prospects.

Understanding the dose‒response relationship between patient engagement in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and health outcomes is critical for developing and implementing effective CBT programs. In studies of CBT interventions, patient engagement is measured only at a single time point, and outcomes are typically assessed before and after the intervention. Examination of the dose‒response relationship between patient engagement in CBT and outcomes is limited. It is unclear whether a dose‒response relationship exists between patient engagement in on-site CBT intervention and anxiety and depression in people living with HIV (PLWH). If present, does this dose‒response relationship occur early or later in the intervention? This study aimed to address this gap by examining the dose‒response relationships between patient engagement and anxiety and depression in CBT interventions among PLWH. Utilizing data from a pilot randomized trial (10 participants) and a clinical controlled trial (70 participants), our secondary analysis spans baseline, 3-month, and 6-month assessments. Both trials implemented the nurse-led CBT intervention. Cluster analysis identified two groups based on on-site attendance and WeChat activity. Patients with good adherence (6-10 times) of on-site attendance exhibited significantly lower anxiety and depression scores at 3 months (ß = 1.220, P = 0.047; ß = 1.270, P = 0.019), with no significant differences observed at 6 months. WeChat activity did not significantly influence anxiety or depression scores. The findings highlight a significant short-term dose‒response relationship, endorsing nurse-led CBT interventions for mental health in PLWH. Organizational strategies should focus on incentivizing and facilitating patient engagement, particularly through enhancing WeChat features.

Considering that neutralizing antibody levels induced by two doses of the inactivated vaccine decreased over time and had fallen to low levels by 6 months, and homologous and heterologous booster immunization programs have been implemented in adults in China. The booster immunization of recombinant COVID-19 vaccine (ZF2001) after priming with inactivated vaccine in healthy children and adolescents has not been reported. We performed an open-labeled, single-arm clinical trial to evaluate the safety and immunogenicity of heterologous booster immunization with ZF2001 after priming with inactivated vaccine among 240 population aged 3-17 years in China. The primary outcome was immunogenicity, including geometric mean titers (GMTs), geometric mean ratios (GMRs) and seroconversion rates of SARS-CoV-2 neutralizing antibodies against prototype SARS-CoV-2 and Omicron BA.2 variant at 14 days after vaccination booster. On day 14 post-booster, a third dose booster of the ZF2001 provided a substantial increase in antibody responses in minors, and the overall occurrence rate of adverse reactions after heterologous vaccination was low and all adverse reactions were mild or moderate. The results showed that the ZF2001 heterologous booster had high immunogenicity and good safety profile in children and adolescents, and can elicit a certain level of neutralizing antibodies against Omicron.Trial registration NCT05895110 (Retrospectively registered, First posted in ClinicalTrials.gov date: 08/06/2023).

Ferroptosis is a novel style of cell death, and studies have shown that ferroptosis is strongly associated with spinal cord injury (SCI). A large number of ferroptosis inhibitors have been reported, but so far no ferroptosis inhibitor has been used clinically. Therefore there is an urgent need to discover a better inhibitor of ferroptosis. In this study, 24 novel sulfonamide phenothiazine ferroptosis inhibitors were designed and synthesized, followed by structure-activity relationship studies on these compounds. Among them, compound 23b exhibited the best activity in Erastin-induced PC12 cells (EC50 = 0.001 µM) and demonstrated a low hERG inhibition activity (IC50 > 30 µM). Additionally, compound 23b was identified as a ROS scavenger and showed promising therapeutic effects in an SD rat model of SCI. Importantly, 23b did not display significant toxicity in both in vivo and in vitro experiments and show good pharmacokinetic properties. These findings suggest that compound 23b, a novel ferroptosis inhibitor, holds potential as a therapeutic agent for spinal cord injury and warrants further investigation.

Inducing pyroptosis in cancer cells holds great potential in cancer immunotherapy. Lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-sensing noncanonical pathways are an important mechanism of pyroptosis to eliminate damaged cells, which has not yet been explored for cancer immunotherapy. Here, we utilize bacterial outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) as a natural LPS carrier to trigger a noncanonical pyroptosis pathway for immunotherapy. To address the concern of systemic toxicity, molecule engineered OMVs were designed by equipping DNA aptamers on the OMVs (Apt-OMVs). In addition to improving capacity to target tumors, Apt-OMVs also took advantage of the spherical nucleic acid structure to shield OMVs against nonspecific immune recognition and evade immunogenicity. The selective pyroptosis enhanced tumor immunogenicity, not only promoting the infiltration of effector T cells but also reducing the amount of immunosuppressive regulatory T cells, which remarkably suppressed tumor growth. This work reports the first pyroptosis inducer by the noncanonical pathway, offering inspiration for safe and efficient pyroptosis-mediated immunotherapy.

Two types of isostructural iron-cobalt/nickel-antimony-oxo tartrate cluster-based compounds, namely (H3O)(Me2NH2)[M(H2O)6]2[FeII2SbIII12(µ4-O)3(µ3-O)8(tta)6]·6H2O (M = Co (1); Ni (3)), H5/3[Co2.5FeII4/3FeIII3(H2O)13SbV1/3FeIII2/3(µ4-O)2(µ3-O)4SbIII6(µ3-O)2(tta)6]·2H2O (2) and H2[Ni2.25FeII1.5FeIII3(H2O)14SbV0.25FeIII0.75(µ4-O)2(µ3-O)4SbIII6(µ3-O)2(tta)6]·2H2O (4) (H4tta = tartaric acid) were synthesized via simple solvothermal reactions. All the clusters in the structures adopt sandwich configurations, that is, bilayer sandwich configuration in 1 and 3 and monolayer sandwich configuration in 2 and 4. Interestingly, the monolayer sandwiched compounds 2 and 4 represent rare examples of cluster-based compounds containing mixed-valence Sb(III, V), whose center of the intermediate layer is the co-occupied [FexSbV1-x]. This is different from that of previously reported sandwich-type antimony-oxo clusters in which the center position is either occupied by a transition metal ion or a Sb(V) alone. Thus, the discovery of title compounds 2 and 4 makes the evolution of center metal ion more complete, that is, from M, MxSbV1-x to SbV. All the title compounds were fully characterized, and the photocatalysis, proton conduction and magnetism of compounds 2 and 4 were studied.

Synthesis of bicyclic scaffolds has gained significant attention in drug discovery due to their potential to mimic benzene bioisosteres. Here, we present a mild and scalable Sc(OTf)3-catalyzed [3+2] cycloaddition of bicyclo[1.1.0]butanes (BCBs) with ynamides, yielding a diverse array of polysubstituted 2-amino-bicyclo[2.1.1]hexenes in good to excellent yields. These products offer valuable starting materials for the construction of novel functionalized bicyclo[1.1.0]butanes. Preliminary mechanistic studies indicate that the reaction involves a nucleophilic addition of ynamides to bicyclo[1.1.0]butanes, followed by an intramolecular cyclization of in situ generated enolate and keteniminium ion. We expect that these findings will encourage utilization of complex bioisosteres and foster further investigation into BCB-based cycloaddition chemistry.

BACKGROUND: The gibberellic acid-stimulated Arabidopsis (GASA) gene encodes a class of cysteine-rich functional proteins and is ubiquitous in plants. Most GASA proteins are influence the signal transmission of plant hormones and regulate plant growth and development, however, their function in Jatropha curcas is still unknown. RESULTS: In this study, we cloned JcGASA6, a member of the GASA family, from J. curcas. The JcGASA6 protein has a GASA-conserved domain and is located in the tonoplast. The three-dimensional structure of the JcGASA6 protein is highly consistent with the antibacterial protein Snakin-1. Additionally, the results of the yeast one-hybrid (Y1H) assay showed that JcGASA6 was activated by JcERF1, JcPYL9, and JcFLX. The results of the Y2H assay showed that both JcCNR8 and JcSIZ1 could interact with JcGASA6 in the nucleus. The expression of JcGASA6 increased continuously during male flower development, and the overexpression of JcGASA6 was associated with filament elongation of the stamens in tobacco. CONCLUSION: JcGASA6, a member of the GASA family in J. curcas, play an important role in growth regulation and floral development (especially in male flower). It is also involved in the signal transduction of hormones, such as ABA, ET, GA, BR, and SA. Also, JcGASA6 is a potential antimicrobial protein determined by its three-dimensional structure.

Constructing heterogeneous nanostructures is an efficient strategy to improve the electrical and ionic conductivity of metal chalcogenide-based anodes. Herein, ZnS/SnO2 quantum dots (QDs) as p-n heterojunctions that are uniformly anchored to reduced graphene oxides (ZnS-SnO2 @rGO) are designed and engineered. Combining the merits of fast electron transport via the internal electric field and a greatly shortened Li/Na ion diffusion pathway in the ZnS/SnO2 QDs (3-5 nm), along with the excellent electrical conductivity and good structural stability provided by the rGO matrix, the ZnS-SnO2 @rGO anode exhibits enhanced electronic and ionic conductivity, which can be proved by both experiments and theoretical calculations. Consequently, the ZnS-SnO2 @rGO anode shows a significantly improved rate performance that simple counterpart composite anodes cannot achieve. Specifically, high reversible specific capacities are achieved for both lithium-ion battery (551 mA h g-1 at 5.0 A g-1 , 670 mA h g-1 at 3.0 A g-1 after 1400 cycles) and sodium-ion battery (334 mA h g-1 at 5.0 A g-1 , 313 mA h g-1 at 1.0 A g-1 after 400 cycles). Thus, this strategy to build semiconductor metal sulfides/metal oxide heterostructures at the atomic scale may inspire the rational design of metal compounds for high-performance battery applications.

Metastasis poses a major challenge in cancer management, including EML4-ALK-rearranged non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). As cell migration is a critical step during metastasis, we assessed the anti-migratory activities of several clinical ALK inhibitors in NSCLC cells and observed differential anti-migratory capabilities despite similar ALK inhibition, with brigatinib displaying superior anti-migratory effects over other ALK inhibitors. Applying an unbiased in situ mass spectrometry-based chemoproteomics approach, we determined the proteome-wide target profile of brigatinib in EML4-ALK+ NSCLC cells. Dose-dependent and cross-competitive chemoproteomics suggested MARK2 and MARK3 as relevant brigatinib kinase targets. Functional validation showed that combined pharmacological inhibition or genetic modulation of MARK2/3 inhibited cell migration. Consistently, brigatinib treatment induced inhibitory YAP1 phosphorylation downstream of MARK2/3. Collectively, our data suggest that brigatinib exhibits unusual cross-phenotype polypharmacology as, despite similar efficacy for inhibiting EML4-ALK-dependent cell proliferation as other ALK inhibitors, it more effectively prevented migration of NSCLC cells due to co-targeting of MARK2/3.

BACKGROUND: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the diagnostic value of the GeneXpert® MTB/RIF (Xpert®), Auramine O staining method, and Lowenstein-Jensen medium for bacteriologically confirmed pulmonary tuberculosis and explore the effects of the sputum bacillary load (SBL) and qRT‒PCR threshold cycle (Ct) value on the detection methods. METHODS: We retrospectively analysed the results in the Department of Infectious Disease for 49 months. The χ2 test was used to compare the performances of each method, receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was used to determine the optimal cut-off values, and the factors associated with a false-negative result from Xpert® were analysed by logistic regression. RESULTS: Simultaneous analysis of 980 sputum specimens showed that the positive detection rate of Xpert® did not increase with increasing SBL, and there were differences between the three when SBL ≤ 1 + (all P < 0.05). There was a good negative correlation between the Ct value and the SBL (P < 0.0001). Age was an independent risk factor for false-negative Xpert® results (P = 0.029), and when Ct < 16, the diagnostic sensitivity and specificity were both 100.00%. The optimal cut-off Ct values for resegmentation based on the drug resistance classification were < 18.6, 18.6-34.1, and > 34.1 cycles. CONCLUSIONS: Xpert® was not affected by SBL but it was by age, and it is more advantageous when SBL ≤ 1 + . The results regarding rifampicin resistance were reliable, and the novel Ct segmentation was a practical and more clinically meaningful classification method for diagnosing rifampicin resistance. These findings will help improve physicians' ability to accurately diagnose TB.

Unveiling the structural evolution of single-crystalline compounds based on certain building units may help greatly in guiding the design of complex structures. Herein, a series of praseodymium antimony oxohalide crystals have been isolated under solvothermal conditions via adjusting the solvents used, that is, [HN(CH2CH3)3][FeII(2,2'-bpy)3][Pr4Sb12O18Cl15]·EtOH (1) (2,2'-bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine), [HN(CH2CH3)3][FeII(2,2'-bpy)3]2[Pr4Sb12O18Cl14)2Cl]·N(CH2CH3)3·2H2O (2), and (H3O)[Pr4Sb12O18Cl12.5(TEOA)0.5]·2.5EtOH (3) (TEOA = mono-deprotonated triethanolamine anion). Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that all the three structures feature an anionic zig-zag chain of [Pr4Sb12O18Cl15-x]n as the tertiary building unit (TBU), which is formed by interconnections of praseodymium antimony oxochloride clusters (denoted as {Pr4Sb12}) as secondary building units. Interestingly, different arrangements or linkages of chain-like TBUs result in one-dimensional, two-dimensional layered, and three-dimensional structures of 1, 2, and 3, respectively, thus demonstrating clearly the structural evolution of metal oxohalide crystals. The title compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and UV-Vis spectroscopy, and the photodegradation for methyl blue in an aqueous solution of compound 1 has been preliminarily studied. This work offers a way to deeply understand the assembly process of intricate lanthanide-antimony(III) oxohalide structures at the atomic level.

A number of goose breeds are raised commercially in China. However, the data on the slaughter performance of the goose breeds and the nutritional value of their meats lack a thorough comparative analysis. In this systematic review, the slaughter performance of the goose breeds and nutritional value of their meats were comparatively analyzed to provide an overview of the characteristics of the goose breeds raised commercially in China. Fifteen goose breeds were selected from 27 research articles published up to January 2022 on the slaughter performance of the goose breeds raised commercially in China and their nutrient composition after literature searching, literature screening, variety selection, and data collation. The slaughter indexes of the goose breeds and the basic nutrient composition, amino acid composition, and fatty acid composition of the meats of the goose breeds were standardized using min-max normalization and compared. The results suggest that the slaughter indexes and nutritional indicators of the meats of Yangzhou white goose, Xupu goose, Landaise geese, and Sichuan white goose are more balanced than those of the meats of the other goose breeds. The results of this review can lay the foundation for optimizing the breeding methods of the commercially raised goose breeds and processing methods of the meats of the geese. © 2022 Society of Chemical Industry.

Oligodendrocytes are vulnerable to genetic and environmental insults and its injury leads to demyelinating diseases. The roles of ErbB receptors in maintaining the CNS myelin integrity are largely unknown. Here, we overactivate ErbB receptors that mediate signaling of either neuregulin (NRG) or epidermal growth factor (EGF) family growth factors and found their synergistic activation caused deleterious outcomes in white matter. Sustained ErbB activation induced by the tetracycline-dependent mouse tool Plp-tTA resulted in demyelination, axonal degeneration, oligodendrocyte precursor cell (OPC) proliferation, astrogliosis, and microgliosis in white matter. Moreover, there was hypermyelination before these inflammatory pathologic events. In contrast, sustained ErbB activation induced by another tetracycline-dependent mouse tool Sox10+/rtTA caused hypomyelination in the corpus callosum and optic nerve, which appeared to be a developmental deficit and did not associate with OPC regeneration, astrogliosis, or microgliosis. By tracing the differentiation states of cells expressing tetracycline-controlled transcriptional activator (tTA)/reverse tTA (rtTA)-dependent transgene or pulse-labeled reporter proteins in vitro and in vivo, we found that Plp-tTA targeted mainly mature oligodendrocytes (MOs), whereas Sox10+/rtTA targeted OPCs and newly-formed oligodendrocytes (NFOs). The distinct phenotypes of mice with ErbB overactivation induced by Plp-tTA and Sox10+/rtTA consolidated their nonoverlapping targeting preferences in the oligodendrocyte lineage, and enabled us to demonstrate that ErbB overactivation in MOs induced necroptosis that caused inflammatory demyelination, whereas in OPCs induced apoptosis that caused noninflammatory hypomyelination. Early interference with aberrant ErbB activation ceased oligodendrocyte deaths and restored myelin development in both mice. This study suggests that aberrant ErbB activation is an upstream pathogenetic mechanism of demyelinating diseases, providing a potential therapeutic target.SIGNIFICANCE STATEMENT Primary oligodendropathy is one of the etiologic mechanisms for multiple sclerosis, and oligodendrocyte necroptosis is a pathologic hallmark in the disease. Moreover, the demyelinating disease is now a broad concept that embraces schizophrenia, in which white matter lesions are an emerging feature. ErbB overactivation has been implicated in schizophrenia by genetic analysis and postmortem studies. This study suggests the etiologic implications of ErbB overactivation in myelin pathogenesis and elucidates the pathogenetic mechanisms.

Successful human red blood cell cryopreservation techniques have been gradually developed in recent decades, with great potential for use in clinical medicine and basic research. The mechanical properties of a single cell are important clues to reveal the physiological and pathological state of the red blood cell, but they have not been used to assess the physiological state of the cell after cryopreservation. Herein, we investigated the effects of cryopreservation processes on human red blood cell biomechanics by means of a microfluidic, label-free, synchronous, and nondestructive electrodeformation assay. We found that the effects of viscoelasticity of the red blood cell membrane between permeable and impermeable cryoprotectants were different. Our findings showed that high freeze-thaw recovery did not mean that the recovered cells had excellent viscoelasticity. The results demonstrate that single-cell viscoelasticity is an irreplaceable indicator for assessing the quality of the recovered cells and help us to deepen understanding of the cryoinjury mechanism. Assessment of the single cell viscoelasticity offers significant potential for application in optimizing the cryopreservation process and screening optimal cryoprotectants.

A highly efficient palladium-catalyzed allenamide allylic alkylation of sulfenate anions under mild conditions is demonstrated. The present methodology provides a practical protocol to access various sulfoxide-containing heterocyclic compounds. The salient features of this transformation include a broad substrate scope, good functional group tolerance, easy to scale-up, and ready synthetic transformation.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the manifestation of dry eye and its relationship with CXCR3 and CCR5 expression in patients with ocular acid burns. METHODS: This is a case-control study. A total of 27 eyes of 22 cases ocular with acid burns of I-V degrees from Jan.2020 to Feb.2021 in Jinshan Hospital of Fudan University were selected as observation group, and 8 eyes of 8 cases of normal people were selected as control group. The follow-up period was 3 months. The visual acuity, intraocular pressure (IOP), corneal fluorescein staining scores (CFS), breakup time of tear film (BUT), Schirmer I test, corneal thickness and tear meniscus height (TMH) were observed at 1 day, 1 and 3 months after injury. The protein expressions of CXCR3 and CCR5 were examined by ELISA and compared among groups at each time point. RESULTS: BUT and Schirmer I tests value in the observation group were lower than those in the control group 3 months after injury (BUT: Group I ~ IV p = 0.0266, p = 0.0222, p = 0.0003, p = 0.0059, respectively; Schirmer I test: Group I ~ IV p = 0.0027, p = 0.0033, p = 0.0016, p = 0.0032, respectively). CFS scores were higher than those in the control group at 1 day after injury (all p < 0.0001), but decreased gradually at 1 and 3 months after injury (Group I ~ IV p = 0.0042, p = 0.0096, p < 0.0001, p < 0.0001, respectively). The corneal thickness and TMH 1 day after injury were higher than those in the control group (corneal thickness: Group II ~ IV p = 0.0010, p < 0.0001, p < 0.0001, respectively; TMH: Group II ~ IV p = 0.0002, p < 0.0001, p < 0.0001, respectively), and also higher than those at 1 month and 3 months after injury (corneal thickness: Group II ~ IV p = 0.0010, p < 0.0001, p < 0.0001, respectively; TMH: Group II ~ IV p = 0.0345 and p = 0.0045, p = 0.0005 and p < 0.0001, p = 0.0114 and p = 0.0019, respectively). The expression levels of CXCR3 and CCR5 protein were significantly negatively correlated with BUT (all p < 0.0001), and CXCR3 and CCR5 were also significantly negatively correlated with Schirmer I test value (p < 0.0001, p = 0.0004, respectively). CONCLUSION: Ocular acid burns can cause dry eye, and the expression of CXCR3 and CCR5 protein in tears may be related to the occurrence of dry eye after ocular acid burn.

CD70 is overexpressed in a variety of solid and hematological tumors and plays a role in tumor proliferation and evasion of immune surveillance. Targeting and blocking its binding to the receptor CD27 have the potential to treat CD70-dependent tumors. To generate novel CD70 blocking agents, we screen a human CD70-immunized camel VHH phage display library and isolate two blocking nanobodies against human CD70 targeting different epitopes. Upon enrichment by three rounds of biopanning, two strategies are employed to identify CD70 blockers. One named affinity selection is used for detecting clones with CD70 binding by conventional PE-ELISA. However, no clone with a blocking effect is obtained from 188 enriched clones by this method. The alternative strategy named competitive selection is based on the inhibiting capacity of CD70-CD27 binding by enriched VHHs. By this method, two clones, Nb-2B3 and Nb-3B6, with strong blocking capacity are obtained from 20 enriched VHHs, suggesting the efficiency of this strategy. Furthermore, Nb-2B3 and Nb-3B6 specifically bind to CD70-positive SKOV3 and Raji cells at low concentrations. Meanwhile, Nb-2B3 has no competitive effect on the binding of Nb-3B6 to CD70, and vice versa, indicating that they target two different epitopes on CD70. Our data show that nanobodies Nb-2B3 and Nb-3B6 are potential attractive theranostic agents for CD70-expressing cancers.

OBJECTIVE: To study the clinical value of accelerated rehabilitation nursing (ARN) in improving the symptoms of PCa patients after surgery. METHODS: This study included 80 cases of PCa treated surgically in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2021. We randomly divided the patients into two groups of an equal number to receive ARN and routine nursing care (the control group), respectively. We obtained the scores of the patients on IPSS, TCM syndromes, quality of life (QOL) and pain, incidence of postoperative complications, satisfaction with nursing care and Gleason scores, and compared them between the two groups. RESULTS: The IPSS and TCM syndrome scores were significantly lower (P < 0.05 ), and the physical and psychological function score remarkably higher in the ARN than in the control group (P < 0.05), but there was no statistically significant difference in the social function scores between the two groups (P > 0.05). The postoperative pain score was also significantly lower in the ARN than in the control group (P < 0.05), and so was the incidence rate of postoperative complications (10% vs 37.5%, P < 0.05). The patients' satisfaction with nursing care was markedly higher in the former than in the latter group (90% vs 80%, P < 0.05). No statistically significant difference was observed in the Gleason scores between the two groups of patients. CONCLUSION: Accelerated rehabilitation nursing can effectively improve the symptoms of PCa patients after surgery and therefore deserves clinical application.

RESUMEN

Hot carriers play a significant role in applications of photovoltaics, photodetection, and photocatalysis. However, effective methods for observing the ultrafast dynamic processes of hot carriers are concentrated on the time domain, on which it is difficult and complex to operate. We propose a novel, to the best of our knowledge, and creative strategy to convert the time-domain dynamic process into a spatially thermal redistribution in suspended carbon nanotube fibers. The large average free path of photoinduced hot holes ensures a prominent offset of temperature distribution. The experimental results confirm the theory about electrically driven transport of hot holes, which has rarely been reported.
