RESUMO

The possibility of stimulating the beta-adrenoreceptors of the heart and vessels with mesaton (phenylephrine hydrochloride) was demonstrated in experiments on anesthesized dogs. In sharp hemodynamic shifts, a close functional dependence was revealed between the changes in the tonus of the resistant vessels, the blood renin activity, and the renal excretion of electrolytes and water. It is suggested that there is synchronous regulation of changes in the vascular tonus and the urination rate, which is effected through the renin-angiotensin system with adaptation of the system of intravascular circulation to the altering conditions of functioning.

RESUMO

The mineral salt substitute hyposol which produces antihypertensive and antiedematous effects is proposed to correct the diet changed by modern living conditions for the worse. A partial replacement of sodium chloride by this mixture is promising for all persons exposed to mineral stress, especially in emergency.

RESUMO

In acute experiments on dogs, a negative correlation between arterial pressure and the blood renin activity was shown during hemodynamic shifts following occlusion of the carotid arteries or v. cava anterior, as well as ephedrinum or nitrite of sodium administration. Stabilization of pressure in the renal arteries prevented alterations of the renin secretion. Renin participation in regulation of sodium-uresis during acute hemodynamic shifts is discussed.

RESUMO

In acute and chronic experiments on rats (intact animals and animals with model circulatory insufficiency) which received 4 variants of the mineral additives over a period of 1-2 months the effect of mesatonum, isadrinum, and tiramine on the arterial pressure or furosemide and dichlorthiazide on the renal excretion function are studied. It is found that a substituent of the coom salt, hyposol, modulates in strength and in duration the hemodynamic effects of adrenergic drugs and renal excretion of electrolytes and water upon introduction of diuretics. On the whole, the effect of hyposol is aimed at attaining the favourable regime of functioning of the circulatory system.

RESUMO

The experiments on rats showed that high consumption of sodium chloride promotes the diuretic action of phenylephrine (mesaton), the alpha-adrenergic agonist, and prolong its pressor effect. In supplementation of diet with sanasol and hyposol, a new substitute of common salt, phenylephrine, causes the renal effects typical of beta-adrenoceptor stimulation. Both the sanasol and especially hyposol decrease the strength and duration of phenylephrine pressor action and increase the duration of isadrine depressor effect. Thus, the reactivity of alpha- and beta-adrenergic mechanisms depend on the mineral composition of diet, which is able to change the pharmacodynamics of cardiovascular agents.

RESUMO

Experiments on rats showed that long-term excess sodium chloride feeding increased the loss of animals as a result of the common carotid artery ligation. The effect is related to maximum decrease in the local cerebral blood flow and sharply pronounced brain swelling. The sodium chloride substitute giposol reduced the extent of cerebral ischemia and produced antiswelling effect. On the background of the hyper-sodium-chloride diet, the protective action of cerebrolysine was less pronounced as manifested by decreasing survival of the test animals. In contrast, the administration of giposol increased the efficacy of cerebrolysine with respect to the carotid artery occlusion.

RESUMO

It was shown in experiments on dogs that intravenous injection of adrenaline or noradrenaline in a dose of 2 microgram/kg per min was accompanied by an increase of resistance of the renal vessels with unchanged general renal circulation, and administration of adrenaline against the background of obsidan action--by an increase of resistance and reduction of blood flow, and--against the background of phentholamine action--by a reduction of resistance with unchanged circulation. On the basis of these data and those obtained by the author earlier a supposition is put forward on a possible mechanism of a combination of functions in the systems of circulation and excrection in the control of general water-salt homeostatis in extraordinary hemodynamic shifts with the participation of the humoral factor--renin-angiotensine system.

RESUMO

In anesthetized dogs and rabbits, the increasing doses of mesaton raise the cardiac output and diminish overall peripheral vascular resistance. The cardiostimulant effect is prevented by obsidan, whilst the negative chronotropic by atropine. The effect of mesaton on alpha- and beta-adrenoreceptors is discussed.

RESUMO

Acute experiments were conducted on dogs. Intravenous injection of adrenalin (1--2 Mg/kg/min) caused an increase in the blood renin content and a reduction of the renal excretion of sodium, potassium and water. Noradrenaline (1--2 Mg/kg/min) produced the contrary changes in the renin secretion and diuresis, this being associated with a different activity of catecholamines in respect to tha alpha- and beta-adrenoreceptors. It is supposed that in acute hemodynamic shifts renin could play the role of intrarenal mediator of the natriuretic reaction.
