RESUMO

The work demonstrates the main approaches to the use of the methods of multidimensional analysis for the creation of a hypothesis on the mechanism of the epidemiological process of dysentery in organized groups. The main risk factors have been established, and their role in the formation of annual, all-the-year-round and seasonal dysentery morbidity has been quantitatively evaluated. The results of analysis show the existence of diverse variants of the alimentary route of the transmission of infection, maintaining the epidemic process of dysentery, and the necessity of differentiating measures for the prophylaxis of all-the-year-round and seasonal morbidity.

RESUMO

Subjects completely adapted to a complex of factors of their working and natural environment, besides a stable emotional sphere and physical working capacity, develop a certain stereotype of food consumption, that objectively determines relatively constant levels of this or that component in the ration they receive. The authors have developed a method of mathematical modelling of the expected consumption of food substances basing on the calculation of the ration chemical composition according to the menu, and on the further comparing with the level of actual nutrient consumption. A step-by-step regression analysis has enabled the authors to detect significant (by F-criterion) groups of daily ration food products for actual nutrient consumption, and to present the regression models for calculation the expected consumption of mineral substances in daily rations with the use of regression equation.

RESUMO

The examination of 2033 patients with severe mechanical injuries has shown that in most patients with traumas of the head, chest and upper extremities of the same localization (isolated or multiple) the volume of blood loss was not more than 20% of the circulating blood volume. Isolated and multiple injuries of the abdomen, pelvis, spine and lower extremities in 28-54% of the patients were followed by blood loss more than 20% of the circulating blood volume. Associated traumas in most cases were followed by massive blood loss (more than 40% of the CBV).

RESUMO

The examination of 2033 patients with severe mechanical injuries has shown that early intoxication takes place in 30.3% of the patients. Patients with blood loss of 35-40% and more, receiving more than 1 l of preserved blood make a group of high risk. Intoxication was more frequent in patients with one localization of injury when it is an injury of extremities or abdomen. In associated injuries the development of intoxication is determined by localization and kind of the main injury and is dependent on association with severe traumas of the extremities and abdomen.

RESUMO

An examination of 2033 patients has established that the conditions for the development of pyo-septic and pulmonary complications of a severe trauma appear in the period of shock. Each kind of complications of trauma disease is associated with a certain set of risk factors. The localization, character of the injury and kind of early posttraumatic intoxication are responsible for the structure of complication. The blood loss value and volume of the infusion-transfusion therapy are considered to be the most common risk factors of the development of complications.

RESUMO

The results of a computer analysis of immunograms for the differential diagnosis of tuberculosis, cancer, pneumonia and sarcoidosis are presented. The findings indicate that computer immunodiagnosis may be used as a supplementary tool that increases the effectiveness of diagnosis in difficult cases. The advantage of the elaborated system is to rapidly apply a systemic approach to the assessment of the patient's immune status and to objective diagnosis by using computer algorithms.

RESUMO

Morphological state of connective tissue (stromal) cells of the stomach mucous membrane has been studied in healthy persons, having a habitual regime of feeding. During digestive period in the stomach mucous membrane, certain changes develop, which are considered as a digestive reaction. Three stages of the digestive reaction, having strict morphological signs are determined, their connections being stated by means of morphometry and mathematical analysis. I stage (preparatory) is characterized with a moderate vascular reaction, degranulation of mast cells under the superficial++ epithelium of the mucous membrane, with a moderate neutrophilic leukopedesis and a moderate lymphocytic infiltration; II stage (developed) is distinguished as a definitely demonstrated reaction of the microcirculatory bed, intensive degranulation of mast cells at all levels of the mucous membrane, massive discharge of neutrophilic granulocytes and lymphocytes into stroma; III stage (restorative) is characterized with a predominance of fibroblasts and fibrocytes, with reparation of mast cells, with decreasing saturation of stroma with neutrophilic granulocytes, lymphocytes, an increased number of eosinophilic granulocytes takes place. The data obtained widen our knowledge on functional morphology of the stomach mucous membrane, normal and at gastroduodenal pathology.
