RESUMO

Objective: To systematically summarize and assess risk prediction models for occurrence of cervical cancer and to provide evidence for selecting the most reliable model for practice, and guide cervical cancer screening. Methods: Two groups of keywords related to cervical cancer and risk prediction model were searched on Chinese databases (CNKI, and Wanfang) and English databases (PubMed, Embase, and Cochrane Library). Original articles that developed or validated risk prediction models and published before November 21, 2019, were selected. Information form was created based on the CHARMS checklist. The PROBAST was used to assess the risk of bias. Results: 12 eligible articles were identified, describing 15 prediction models, of which five were established in China. The predicted outcomes included multiple stages from cervical precancerous lesions to cancer occurrence, i.e., abnormal Pap smear (1), occurrence or recurrence of CIN (9), and occurrence of cervical cancer (5), etc. The most frequently used predictors were HPV infection (12), age (7), smoking (5), and education (5). There were two models using machine learning to develop models. In terms of model performance, the discrimination ranged from 0.53 to 0.87, while only two models assessed the calibration correctly. Only two models were externally validated in Taiwan of China, using people in different periods. All of the models were at high risk of bias, especially in the analysis domain. The problems were concentrated in the improper handling of missing data (13), preliminary evaluation of model performance (13), improper use of internal validation (12), and insufficient sample size (11). In addition, the problems of inconsistency measurements of predictors and outcomes (8) and the flawed report of the use of blindness for outcome measures (8) were also severe. Compared with the other models, the Rothberg (2018) model had relatively high quality. Conclusions: There are a certain number of cervical cancer risk prediction models, but the quality is poor. It is urgent to improve the measurement of predictors and outcomes, the statistical analysis details such as handling missing data and evaluation of model performance and externally validate existing models to better guide screening.

RESUMO

This study investigated the effects of dietary Enteromorpha powder supplementation on the productive performance, egg quality, and antioxidant performance of Zi geese during the late laying period. Three hundred twelve Zi geese (1 yr old) were randomly allocated into 2 cohorts to form a control group and an experimental group (with each cohort including 6 replicates and 21 female geese and 5 male geese in each replicate). The control group was fed a basal diet, and the experimental group was fed a diet containing 3% Enteromorpha powder. The data showed that Enteromorpha powder supplementation significantly improved egg production, laying rate, average daily egg weight (P < 0.01), and egg yolk color (P < 0.05). Supplementation decreased the ADFI and feed conversion rate (P < 0.01). Compared with the control group, glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity was significantly higher in serum and ovary tissue (P < 0.05), but GSH-Px activity was lower in liver tissue (P < 0.01). Malondialdehyde was reduced in liver and ovary tissue (P < 0.05) in the Enteromorpha powder supplementation group. Meanwhile, the expression of the CAT gene was significantly upregulated in the liver (P < 0.01) in the Enteromorpha group. These results indicate that dietary Enteromorpha powder supplementation improved productive performance and reduced the level of lipid peroxidation in Zi geese during the late laying period.

RESUMO

This report describes the procedures for isolation of creatine kinase BB isoenzyme (CK-BB) from human placenta on preparative polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. 2.5 mg of CK-BB was purified from a 100-g portion of the human placenta, which had a mean specific activity of 957 kU/g and a mean yield of 16%. The placenta CK-BB exhibited single protein bands on several electrophoretic techniques. In addition, both of the placenta and brain CK-BB preparations were individually iodinated and the identical immunological properties of both the CK-BB preparations were confirmed in radioimmunoassay.

RESUMO

The biological character of udo aphid was observed and monomolecular lipid film was used to control it. The results showed that at 100 and 200 times the lipid film, the hatch rate of over-winter eggs was lower than the control by 30.76% and 12.15% respectively, and at 50, 100 and 200 times the lipid film the mortality of young nymph aphids was 100% and those of old nymph aphids and adult aphids were 8.31%, 32.62% and 3.31% respectively.

RESUMO

This paper deal with the harm done to Honeysuckle by the oriental carpenter moth. Based on a systematic investigation on the life history and habitude of the moth. We have found some effective measures for its prevention and control.

RESUMO

A nonplanar, reentrant two-spherical-mirror ring cavity is demonstrated. It is compact and free of astigmatism. Unidirectional operation is achieved by use of reciprocal and nonreciprocal polarization rotators to differentiate round-trip loss. A single-frequency green laser is generated by intracavity frequency doubling. Amplitude noise as low as 0.25% is achieved.
