RESUMO

To detect the effect of postnatal chemical desympathization on morphometric characteristics of the vessels of olfactory bulbs in albino rat early postnatal ontogenesis, the study was performed using the histochemical method for demonstration of alkaline phosphatase activity, which is a marker of vascular endothelium, and vessel diameter and relative density were measured during the first three months of life. Desympathization was induced in rats by daily intraperitoneal injection of 60-70 mg/kg of guanethidine during postnatal days 1 to 30. The vessel diameter was found to increase after day 30 simultaneously with the changes of the vascular wall of vessels (irregular contour and non-uniform vasodilatation, non-uniform decrease in alkaline phosphatase activity). Relative density of the vessels was reduced one month after desympathization. After two months this parameter remained depressed in the peripheral zone of the olfactory bulbs, while in the central zone it was not different from that one in control group.

RESUMO

The experiment on rats and mice has shown that the presence of a developing callus in the organism after fracture of the tubular bones inhibits erythropoiesis. Inhibition of erythropoiesis is due to delay of erythropoietin biosynthesis by serotonin. A problem on two-fold serotonin effect is under discussion: on the one hand, serotonin inhibits the erythropoietin formation and delays erythropoiesis, on the other hand, it intensifies the effect of ready erythropoietin on the developing bone marrow erythroid cells.

RESUMO

The dynamics of erythropoiesis during the bone restoration and under the conditions of perturbing influence: fracture and hemolytic anemia have been studied in the experiment. It is found that under the conditions of callus formation the process of proliferation and differentiation of red cells in the bone marrow is inhibited. The observed effect of erythropoiesis inhibition may be caused by the intercellular interaction of regenerating tissues in their "struggle" for microphages, which, while being the centre of the erythroid insula secure the maturation of erythroid precursors, and at the same time they can take part in the bone formation process.

RESUMO

Restraint of white rats in fight cages leads to diminution of the area of neuromuscular synapse with an intricate structure of the enzyme-active region and reduction of the number of neuromuscular synapses per one fiber in the gastrocnemius muscle. Signs of dystrophy of neuromuscular synapses with the intricate enzyme-active region are observed. These changes arise by day 14 of hypokinesia and become more pronounced by day 28.

RESUMO

In the experiment on 80 rats, the intraoperative lavage of the colon (IL) in its perforation and acute obstructive ileus was performed. Lavage was performed before wound closure and placing the anastomosis. In using IL with hyperoxigenated solution, the favourable course of the postoperative period, increase in number of the animals survived, decrease in incidence of complications were noted. The wound and intestinal anastomosis healed by first intention. The method is recommended for the use in clinical practice.

RESUMO

The effect of the blood serum of animals with active osteogenesis on the biosynthesis of nucleic acids, protein, and on the mineralization of the regenerating bone tissue was studied in experiments in vivo and in vitro. Incorporation of DNA and protein labeled precursors (3H-thymidine and 14 C-proline, respectively) was increased and the mineralization of the bone callus (85Sr incorporation) was accelerated in the recipients. Comparison of nucleic acids and protein biosynthesis stimulation sequency allows to suppose that the active serum principle promotes the increased cell proliferation in the fracture area.
