RESUMO

Mammalian cardiomyocytes (CMs) undergo maturation during postnatal heart development to meet the increased demands of growth. Here, we found that omentin-1, an adipokine, facilitates CM cell cycle arrest and metabolic maturation. Deletion of omentin-1 causes mouse heart enlargement and dysfunction in adulthood and CM maturation retardation in juveniles, including delayed cell cycle arrest and reduced fatty acid oxidation. Through RNA sequencing, molecular docking analysis, and proximity ligation assays, we found that omentin-1 regulates CM maturation by interacting directly with bone morphogenetic protein 7 (BMP7). Omentin-1 prevents BMP7 from binding to activin type II receptor B (ActRIIB), subsequently decreasing the downstream pathways mothers against DPP homolog 1 (SMAD1)/Yes-associated protein (YAP) and p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (p38 MAPK). In addition, omentin-1 is required and sufficient for the maturation of human embryonic stem cell-derived CMs. Together, our findings reveal that omentin-1 is a pro-maturation factor for CMs that is essential for postnatal heart development and cardiac function maintenance.

In this paper, we consider the problem of asynchronous estimation in the presence of packet losses for the randomly sampling nonlinear system. Packet losses occur at the control input and at the measurement side. Firstly, the synchronization of the asynchronous sampling system is realized by weighting the state of the adjacent state update points. Secondly, the projection theorem is used to estimate the system state at the sampling time. Due to modeling errors and unmodeled dynamics, obtaining an accurate dynamic model is challenging. Therefore, observation inference based on interpolation techniques is proposed to solve the asynchronous estimation problem. Furthermore, the algorithm is extended to multi-sensor systems to obtain a distributed fusion estimator. Finally, simulation experiments are conducted to validate the effectiveness of the algorithm.

Investigations have shown that storage bugs seriously harm grains during storage. In the interim, essential oils (EOs) have been proven to be a good botanical pesticide. The anti-Lasioderma serricorne properties of Elsholtzia ciliata essential oil, which was obtained by steam distillation, were evaluated using DL-limonene, carvone, and their two optical isomer components using contact, repelling, and fumigation techniques. Simultaneously, the fumigation, contact, and repellent activities of carvone and its two optical isomers mixed with DL-limonene against L. serruricorne were evaluated. The results showed that E. ciliata, its main components (R-carvone, DL-limonene), and S-carvone exhibited both fumigations (LC50 = 14.47, 4.42, 20.9 and 3.78 mg/L) and contact (LD50 = 7.31, 4.03, 28.62 and 5.63 µg/adult) activity against L.serricorne. A binary mixture (1:1) of R-carvone and DL-limonene displayed an obvious synergistic effect. A binary mixture (1:1) of carvone and its two optical isomers exhibited an obvious synergistic effect, too. Furthermore, the repellent activity of the EO, carvone, and its two optical isomers, DL-limonene, and a combination of them varied. To stop insect damage during storage, E. ciliata and its components can be utilized as bio-insecticides.

BACKGROUND: Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) is one of the most frequent causes of heart failure and heart transplantation (HTx). The genetic basis of DCM among patients undergoing HTx remains to be further studied. This study aimed to characterize the genetic basis of DCM HTx in the Chinese population. METHODS: In total, 208 unrelated DCM patients who underwent HTx at Fuwai Hospital between June 2004 and June 2017 were included in this study. Whole-exome sequencing (WES) was performed for all patients. Gene burden analysis, variant classification, and genotype-phenotype correlation analysis were subsequently performed. RESULTS: After completing the bioinformatics analysis, gene burden analysis suggested that titin (TTN), filamin C (FLNC) and lamin A/C (LMNA) were significantly enriched with rare protein-altering variants. The frequencies of TTN and FLNC truncating variants in our cohort were 18.8% and 8.7%, respectively. Among the 165 rare variants in high evidence DCM-related genes, 27 (16.4%) and 59 (35.8%) were interpreted as pathogenic (P) and likely pathogenic (LP), respectively. In addition, 41 (47.7%) and 16 (18.6%) of these 86 P/LP variants are located in TTN and FLNC, respectively. The FLNC group contained more patients with NYHA class IV than the P/LP-negative group (FLNC, 16/18 vs. P/LP-negative, 81/123, P = 0.049). CONCLUSIONS: Based on WES, we provided a primary genetic spectrum of DCM patients undergoing HTx in the Chinese population. TTN and FLNC harbour the most P/LP variants. FLNC truncation may lead to severe clinical symptoms in DCM patients.

Cardiomyopathy affects approximately 1 in 500 adults and is the leading cause of death. Familial cases are common, and mutations in many genes are involved in cardiomyopathy, especially those in genes encoding cytoskeletal, sarcomere, and nuclear envelope proteins. Filamin C is an actin-binding protein encoded by filamin C (FLNC) gene and participates in sarcomere stability maintenance. FLNC was first demonstrated to be a causal gene of myofibrillar myopathy; recently, it has been found that FLNC mutation plays a critical role in the pathogenesis of cardiomyopathy. In this review, we summarized the physiological roles of filamin C in cardiomyocytes and the genetic evidence for links between FLNC mutations and cardiomyopathies. Truncated FLNC is enriched in dilated cardiomyopathy and arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy. Non-truncated FLNC is enriched in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and restrictive cardiomyopathy. Two major pathomechanisms in FLNC-related cardiomyopathy have been described: protein aggregation resulting from non-truncating mutations and haploinsufficiency triggered by filamin C truncation. Therefore, it is important to understand the cellular biology and molecular regulation of FLNC to design new therapies to treat patients with FLNC-related cardiomyopathy.

The FGF5 gene has been associated with the regulation of fibre length in mammals, including cashmere goats. A deletion variant at ~14 kb downstream of the FGF5 gene showed significant divergence between cashmere and non-cashmere goats in previous studies. In this study, we designed specific primers to genotype the deletion variant. The results of gel electrophoresis and Sanger sequencing revealed that a 507-bp deletion mutation is located at 95 454 685-95 455 191 of chromosome 6 in goats. Genotyping data from a large panel of 288 goats showed that the deletion at the FGF5 gene locus appeared to be associated with cashmere length. The deletion variant was close to fixation (frequency 0.97) in cashmere goats. Furthermore, electrophoretic mobility shift assays for evaluating DNA-protein interaction and mRNA expression levels of FGF5 suggested that the deletion variant may serve as a cis-acting element by specifically binding transcription factors to mediate quantitative changes in FGF5 mRNA expression. Our study illustrates how a structural mutation of the FGF5 gene has contributed to the cashmere growth phenotype in domestic goats. The deletion mutation within the FGF5 gene could potentially serve as a molecular marker of cashmere growth in cashmere goat breeding.

Recently, the increasing significance of the epicardium in cardiac development and regeneration is beginning to be recognized. However, because of the small proportion of primary epicardial cells and the limited cell culture time, further research on the mechanism of epicardial cells is hindered. Here, we transfected simian virus 40 Large T (SV40-LT) into primary epicardial cells to establish an immortalized cell line, named EpiSV40. We further demonstrated that EpiSV40 can be easy to culture and has the proliferation, migration and differentiation capacities comparable to primary epicardial cells. EpiSV40 can serve as an ideal in vitro model for epicardial cell research, which will booster the study of the epicardium in cardiac development and heart regeneration.

BACKGROUND: A key cause of the high mortality of cardiovascular diseases is the cardiomyocyte inability to renew after cardiac injury. As a promising strategy to supplement functional myocytes for cardiac repair, there is a pressing need to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms of heart regeneration. METHODS: Seven genetic mouse lines were used: global OSM (oncostatin M) knockout, monocyte-/macrophage-specific OSM deletion, cardiomyocyte-specific lines, including OSM receptor deletion, gp130 (glycoprotein 130) deletion, gp130 activation, and Yap (yes-associated protein) ablation with gp130 activation mice. A series of molecular signaling experiments, including RNA sequencing, immunostaining, coimmunoprecipitation, and imaging flow cytometry, were conducted. Two models of cardiac injury, apical resection and myocardial infarction operation, were performed in neonatal, juvenile, and adult mice. Heart regeneration and cardiac function were evaluated by Masson staining and echocardiography, respectively. Gene recombinant adenovirus-associated virus was constructed and infected myocardial-infarcted mice as a gene therapy. RESULTS: OSM was identified by RNA sequencing as a key upstream regulator of cardiomyocyte proliferation during neonatal heart regeneration in mice. Cardiomyocyte proliferation and heart regeneration were suspended in neonatal mice after cardiac injury when OSM was conditionally knockout in macrophages. The cardiomyocyte-specific deficiency of the OSM receptor heterodimers, OSM receptor and gp130, individually in cardiomyocytes reduced myocyte proliferation and neonatal heart regeneration. Conditional activation of gp130 in cardiomyocytes promoted cardiomyocyte proliferation and heart regeneration in juvenile and adult mice. Using RNA sequencing and functional screening, we found that Src mediated gp130-triggered cardiomyocyte proliferation by activating Yap (yes-associated protein) with Y357 phosphorylation independently of the Hippo pathway. Cardiomyocyte-specific deletion of Yap in Myh6-gp130ACT mice blocked the effect of gp130 activation-induced heart regeneration in juvenile mice. Gene therapy with adenovirus-associated virus encoding constitutively activated gp130 promoted cardiomyocyte proliferation and heart regeneration in adult mice after myocardial infarction. CONCLUSIONS: Macrophage recruitment is essential for heart regeneration through the secretion of OSM, which promotes cardiomyocyte proliferation. As the coreceptor of OSM, gp130 activation is sufficient to promote cardiomyocyte proliferation by activating Yap through Src during heart regeneration. gp130 is a potential therapeutic target to improve heart regeneration after cardiac injury.

PURPOSE: Patients with kidney cancer are at risk for chronic kidney disease after radical and partial nephrectomy. We determined if the urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio is independently associated with progressive chronic kidney disease after nephrectomy. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We performed a cohort study based within a large, integrated health care system. We identified patients who underwent radical or partial nephrectomy from 2004 to 2014 with urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio measured in the 12 months before surgery. We fit multivariable models to determine if the urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio was associated with the time to chronic kidney disease progression (defined as reaching stage 4 or 5 chronic kidney disease, estimated glomerular filtration rate less than 30 ml/minute/1.73 m2). We performed a parallel analysis measuring the time to stage 3b, 4 or 5 chronic kidney disease (estimated glomerular filtration rate less than 45 ml/minute/1.73 m2) among patients with normal or near normal preoperative kidney function (estimated glomerular filtration rate 60 ml/minute/1.73 m2 or greater). We also examined the association between urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio and survival. RESULTS: A total of 1,930 patients underwent radical or partial nephrectomy and had preoperative urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio and preoperative and postoperative estimated glomerular filtration rate. Of these patients 658 (34%) and 157 (8%) had moderate (urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio 30 to 300 mg/gm) or severe albuminuria (urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio greater than 300 mg/gm), respectively. Albuminuria severity was independently associated with progressive chronic kidney disease after radical (moderate albuminuria HR 1.7, 95% CI 1.4-2.2; severe albuminuria HR 2.3, 95% CI 1.7-3.1) and partial nephrectomy (moderate albuminuria HR 1.8, 95% CI 1.2-2.7; severe albuminuria HR 4.3, 95% CI 2.7-7.0). Albuminuria was also associated with survival following radical and partial nephrectomy. CONCLUSIONS: In patients undergoing radical or partial nephrectomy the severity of albuminuria can stratify risk of progressive chronic kidney disease.

PURPOSE: Urinary stone disease during pregnancy is poorly understood but is thought to be associated with increased maternal and fetal morbidity. We determined the prevalence of urinary stone disease in pregnancy and whether it is associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes. MATERIALS AND METHODS: We identified all pregnant women from 2003 through 2017 in the Optum® national insurance claims database. We used diagnosis claims to identify urinary stone disease and assess medical comorbidity. We established the prevalence of urinary stone disease during pregnancy stratified by week of pregnancy. We further evaluated associations among urinary stone disease, maternal complications and pregnancy outcomes in univariable and multivariable analyses. RESULTS: Urinary stone disease affects 8 per 1,000 pregnancies and is more common in white women and women with more comorbid conditions. In fully adjusted models pregnancies complicated by urinary stone disease had higher rates of adverse fetal outcomes including prematurity and spontaneous abortions. This analysis is limited by its retrospective, administrative claims design. CONCLUSIONS: The rate of urinary stone disease during pregnancy is higher than previously reported. Urinary stone disease is associated with adverse pregnancy outcomes.

Both raw and vinegar products of the rhizome of Curcuma phaeocaulis are common drugs for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis in traditional Chinese medicine,which could be reflected in the inhibition of tail thrombosis in mice. As the traditional processing theory instructs,vinegar tastes sour and bitter,but can activate blood circulation and remove stasis after being infiltrated into the rhizome of C. phaeocaulis as an excipient. In this study,under the help of the ultrafast liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-offlight mass spectrometry( UFLC-Q-TOF-MS),the spectrum-effect relationship between the inhibition of tail thrombosis in mice and the rhizome of C. phaeocaulis both before and after the vinegar processing,were established to explore the functional changes of blood circulation and stasis after vinegar process. Based on the peak area from the fingerprint of UFLC-Q-TOF-MS of the alcohol extracts from the raw and vinegar-processed rhizome of C. phaeocaulis and their efficacy for inhibiting tail thrombosis,the correlation between the chromatography of UFLC-Q-TOF-MS and the inhibition of tail thrombosis in mice were analyzed by orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis( OPLS-DA) method. The results,produced by Simca-P software,showed that effective components consisted of eight peaks 16,24( aromadendrene oxide),3,11,22( dehydro-α-curcumene),19[( R)-(-)-α-curcumene],23 and 10 from the fingerprint,making great contribution to distinguish C. phaeocaulis raw products and the corresponding vinegar processed products. Therefore,from the perspective of inhibiting the formation of tail thrombosis in mice,the marker components could be found through the spectrum-effect relationship to distinguish C.phaeocaulis raw and vinegar products. This study provided new basis to explain the difference between the raw and the processed products of traditional Chinese medicine in the functional change of promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis.

BACKGROUND: Long intergenic noncoding RNAs (lincRNAs) have been recognized in recent years as key regulators of biological processes. However, lincRNAs in goat remain poorly characterized both across various tissues and during different developmental stages in goat (Capra hircus). RESULTS: We performed the genome-wide discovery of the lincRNAs in goat by combining the RNA-seq dataset that were generated from 28 cashmere goat skin samples and the 12 datasets of goat tissues downloaded from the NCBI database. We identified a total of 5546 potential lincRNA transcripts that overlapped 3641 lincRNA genes. These lincRNAs exhibited a tissue-specific pattern. Specifically, there are 584 lincRNAs expressed exclusively in only one tissue, and 91 were highly expressed in hair follicle (HF). In addition, 2350 protein-coding genes and 492 lincRNAs were differentially expressed in the skin of goat. The majority exhibited the remarkable differential expression during the transition of the goat skin from the May-June to August-October time point, which covered the different seasons. Fundamental biological processes, such as skin development, were significantly enriched in these genes. Furthermore, we identified several lincRNAs highly expressed in the HF, which exhibited not only the co-expression pattern with the key factors to the HF development but also the activated expression in the August to October time point. Intriguingly, one of spatiotemporal lincRNAs, linc-chig1598 could be a potential regulator of distal-less homeobox 3 expression during the secondary hair follicle growth. CONCLUSIONS: This study will facilitate future studies aimed at unravelling the function of lincRNAs in hair follicle development.

BACKGROUND: The Tibetan cashmere goat (Capra hircus), one of the most ancient breeds in China, has historically been a critical source of meat and cashmere production for local farmers. To adapt to the high-altitude area, extremely harsh climate, and hypoxic environment that the Tibetan cashmere goat lives in, this goat has developed distinct phenotypic traits compared to lowland breeds. However, the genetic components underlying this phenotypic adaptation remain largely unknown. RESULTS: We obtained 118,700 autosomal SNPs through exome sequencing of 330 cashmere goats located at a wide geographic range, including the Tibetan Plateau and low-altitude regions in China. The great majority of SNPs showed low genetic differentiation among populations; however, approximately 2-3% of the loci showed more genetic differentiation than expected under a selectively neutral model. Together with a combined analysis of high- and low-altitude breeds, we revealed 339 genes potentially under high-altitude selection. Genes associated with cardiovascular system development were significantly enriched in our study. Among these genes, the most evident one was endothelial PAS domain protein 1 (EPAS1), which has been previously reported to be involved in complex oxygen sensing and significantly associated with high-altitude adaptation of human, dog, and grey wolf. The missense mutation Q579L that we identified in EPAS1, which occurs next to the Hypoxia-Inducible Factor-1 (HIF-1) domain, was exclusively enriched in the high-altitude populations. CONCLUSIONS: Our study provides insights concerning the population variation in six different cashmere goat populations in China. The variants in cardiovascular system-related genes may explain the observed phenotypic adaptation of the Tibetan cashmere goat.

Copy number variation (CNV), an essential form of genetic variation, has been increasingly recognized as one promising genetic marker in the analysis of animal genomes. Here, we used the Equine 70K single nucleotide polymorphism genotyping array for the genome-wide detection of CNVs in 96 horses from three diverse Chinese breeds: Debao pony (DB), Mongolian horse (MG) and Yili horse (YL). A total of 287 CNVs were determined and merged into 122 CNV regions (CNVRs) ranging from 199 bp to 2344 kb in size and distributed in a heterogeneous manner on chromosomes. These CNVRs were integrated with seven existing reports to generate a composite genome-wide dataset of 1558 equine CNVRs, revealing 69 (56.6%) novel CNVRs. The majority (69.7%) of the 122 CNVRs overlapped with 438 genes, whereas 30.3% were located in intergenic regions. Most of these genes were associated with common CNVRs, which were shared by divergent horse breeds. As many as 60, 42 and 91 genes overlapping with the breed-specific ss were identified in DB, MG and YL respectively. Among these genes, FGF11, SPEM1, PPARG, CIDEB, HIVEP1 and GALR may have potential relevance to breed-specific traits. These findings provide valuable information for understanding the equine genome and facilitating association studies of economically important traits with equine CNVRs in the future.

As a consequence of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), blood components enter brain parenchyma causing progressive damage to the surrounding brain. Unless hematoma is cleared, the reservoirs of blood continue to inflict injury to neurovascular structures and blunt the brain repair processes. Microglia/macrophages (MMΦ) represent the primary phagocytic system that mediates the cleanup of hematoma. Thus, the efficacy of phagocytic function by MMΦ is an essential step in limiting ICH-mediated damage. Using primary microglia to model red blood cell (main component of hematoma) clearance, we studied the role of transcription factor nuclear factor-erythroid 2 p45-related factor 2 (Nrf2), a master-regulator of antioxidative defense, in the hematoma clearance process. We showed that in cultured microglia, activators of Nrf2 (i) induce antioxidative defense components, (ii) reduce peroxide formation, (iii) up-regulate phagocytosis-mediating scavenger receptor CD36, and (iv) enhance red blood cells (RBC) phagocytosis. Through inhibiting Nrf2 or CD36 in microglia, by DNA decoy or neutralizing antibody, we documented the important role of Nrf2 and CD36 in RBC phagocytosis. Using autologous blood injection ICH model to measure hematoma resolution, we showed that Nrf2 activator, sulforaphane, injected to animals after the onset of ICH, induced CD36 expression in ICH-affected brain and improved hematoma clearance in rats and wild-type mice, but expectedly not in Nrf2 knockout (KO) mice. Normal hematoma clearance was impaired in Nrf2-KO mice. Our experiments suggest that Nrf2 in microglia play an important role in augmenting the antioxidative capacity, phagocytosis, and hematoma clearance after ICH.

Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) can lead to sudden cardiac death and life-threatening heart failure. Due to its high fatality rate and limited therapies, the pathogenesis and diagnosis biomarker of ARVC needs to be explored urgently. This study aimed to explore the lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network in ARVC. The mRNA and lncRNA expression datasets obtained from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database were used to analyze differentially expressed mRNA (DEM) and lncRNA (DElnc) between ARVC and non-failing controls. Differentially expressed miRNAs (DEmiRs) were obtained from the previous profiling work. Using starBase to predict targets of DEmiRs and intersecting with DEM and DElnc, a ceRNA network of lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA was constructed. The DEM and DElnc were validated by real-time quantitative PCR in human heart tissue. Protein-protein interaction network and weighted gene co-expression network analyses were used to identify hub genes. A logistic regression model for ARVC diagnostic prediction was established with the hub genes and their ceRNA pairs in the network. A total of 448 DEMs (282 upregulated and 166 downregulated) were identified, mainly enriched in extracellular matrix and fibrosis-related GO terms and KEGG pathways, such as extracellular matrix organization and collagen fibril organization. Four mRNAs and two lncRNAs, including COL1A1, COL5A1, FBN1, BGN, XIST, and LINC00173 identified through the ceRNA network, were validated by real-time quantitative PCR in human heart tissue and used to construct a logistic regression model. Good ARVC diagnostic prediction performance for the model was shown in both the training set and the validation set. The potential lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network and logistic regression model established in our study may provide promising diagnostic methods for ARVC.

This study explores the isolation and characterization of two acidic polysaccharides from baobab (Adansonia digitata) fruits, named ADPs40-F3 and ADPs60-F3; the two types of acidic polysaccharides exhibited high sugar content and chemical structural features characterized by O-H, C-H, carbonyl C=O, and COOH carboxyl functional groups. The two fractions showed molecular weights of 1.66 × 105 and 9.59 × 104 Da. ADPs40-F3 residues consist of arabinose (2.80%), galactose (0.91%), glucose (3.60%), xylose (34.70%), and galacturonic acid (58.10%). On the other hand, ADPs60-F3 is composed of rhamnose (1.50%), arabinose (5.50%), galactose (2.50%), glucose (3.10%), xylose (26.00%), and galacturonic acid (61.40%). Furthermore, NMR analysis showed that the main acidic structures of ADPs40-F3 and ADPs60-F3 are formed by 4,6)-α-d-GalpA-(1→, →4)-ß-d-Xylf-(1→, →4,6)-ß-d-Glcp-(1→, →5)-α-L-Araf-(1→, →4,6)-α-d-Galp-(1→ residues and 4)-α-d-GalpA-(1→, →4)-ß-d-Xylf-(1→, →6)-ß-d-Glcp-(1→, →5)-α-l-Araf-(1→ 4,6)-α-d-Galp-(4,6→, →2)-α-Rhap- residues, respectively, based on the observed signals. Antioxidant assays against DPPH, ABTS+, and FRAP revealed significant antioxidant activities for ADPs40-F3 and ADPs60-F3, comparable to ascorbic acid (VC). Additionally, both polysaccharides exhibited a dose-dependent inhibition of α-glucosidase and α-amylase activities, suggesting potential anti-diabetic properties. In vivo evaluation demonstrated that ADPs60-F3 significantly reduced blood glucose levels, indicating promising therapeutic effects. These findings underscore the potential utility of baobab fruit polysaccharides as natural antioxidants and anti-diabetic agents.

In this study, graphene oxide (GO) was chemically modified utilizing concentrated nitric acid to produce a nitrated graphene oxide derivative (NGO) with enhanced oxidation level, improved dispersibility, and increased antibacterial activity. A double-layer composite hydrogel material (BC/PVA/NGO) with a core-shell structure was fabricated by utilizing bacterial cellulose (BC) and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) binary composite hydrogel scaffold as the inner network template, and hydrophilic polymer (PVA) loaded with antibacterial material (NGO) as the outer network. The fabrication process involved physical crosslinking based on repeated freezing and thawing. The resulting BC/PVA/NGO hydrogel exhibited a porous structure, favorable mechanical properties, antibacterial efficacy, and biocompatibility. Subsequently, the performance of BC/PVA/NGO hydrogel in promoting wound healing was evaluated using a mouse skin injury model. The findings demonstrated that the BC/PVA/NGO hydrogel treatment group facilitated improved wound healing in the mouse skin injury model compared to the control group and the BC/PVA group. This enhanced wound healing capability was attributed primarily to the excellent antibacterial and tissue repair properties of the BC/PVA/NGO hydrogel.
