RESUMO

Several million people use cannabis in France. The effects are variable, and depend of the rate of THC, the intensity of use, the personality of the consumer. For the French law, cannabis is a drug, and it is forbidden to take it. Acute intoxication with cannabis produces somatic and psychic effects, most of the time reversible. Somatic effects are mainly neurovegetative. Psychic effects, also called cannabic drunkeness, are divided in four stages. Acute intoxication causes psychiatric complications. Chronic use of cannabis has mainly psychic effects, and may lead to the amotival syndrome. In the case of a psychotic symptom linked with cannabis use, the question is to know if there were personality troubles underlying.
