RESUMO
This study explores the electrochemical properties of the carbonaceous Allende CV3 meteorite, focusing on its potential as a Fe-based catalyst derived from Mackinawite iron sulfide for electrocatalytic reactions facilitating nitrogen (N2) fixation into ammonia. Through comprehensive analysis, we not only monitored the evolution of key compounds such as CN-, sulfur/H2S, H2 and carbonyl compounds, but also identified potential reagent carriers, indicating significant implications for the Strecker synthesis of amino acids in space environments. Initial examination revealed the presence of polypeptides, notably sequences including dimer Ala-α-HO-Gly, pentamer Gly3-Ala2, and hexamer Gly4-(HO-Gly)2. These discoveries greatly enhance our understanding of astrobiological chemistry, offering valuable insights into prebiotic processes and the potential presence of life-building blocks throughout the universe.

As alternative energy sources are essential to reach a climate-neutral economy, hydrogen peroxide (H2 O2 ) as futuristic energy carrier gains enormous awareness. However, seeking for stable and electrochemically selective H2 O2 ORR electrocatalyst is yet a challenge, making the design of-ideally-bifunctional catalysts extremely important and outmost of interest. In this study, we explore the application of a trimetallic cobalt(II) triazole pyridine bis-[cobalt(III) corrole] complex CoII TP[CoIII C]2 3 in OER and ORR catalysis due to its remarkable physicochemical properties, fast charge transfer kinetics, electrochemical reversibility, and durability. With nearly 100 % selective catalytic activity towards the two-electron transfer generated H2 O2 , an ORR onset potential of 0.8â V vs RHE and a cycling stability of 50 000â cycles are detected. Similarly, promising results are obtained when applied in OER catalysis. A relatively low overpotential at 10â mA cm-2 of 412â mV, Faraday efficiency 98 % for oxygen, an outstanding Tafel slope of 64â mV dec-1 combined with superior stability.

RESUMO
Early detection of cis phosphorylated tau (cis P-tau) may help as an effective treatment to control the progression of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Recently, we introduced for the first time a monoclonal antibody (mAb) with high affinity against cis P-tau. In this study, the cis P-tau mAb was utilized to develop a label-free immunosensor. The antibody was immobilized onto a gold electrode and the electrochemical responses to the analyte were acquired by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic voltammetry (CV), and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV). The immunosensor was capable of selective detection of cis P-tau among non-specific targets like trans P-tau and major plasma proteins. A wide concentration range (10 × 10-14 M-3.0 × 10-9 M) of cis P-tau was measured in PBS and human serum matrices with a limit of detection of 0.02 and 0.05 pM, respectively. Clinical applicability of the immunosensor was suggested by its long-term storage stability and successful detection of cis P-tau in real samples of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and blood serum collected from human patients at different stages of AD. These results suggest that this simple immunosensor may find great application in clinical settings for early detection of AD which is an unmet urgent need in today's healthcare services.
