RESUMO

High-entropy compounds have been emerging as promising candidates for electrolysis, yet their controllable electrosynthesis strategy remains a formidable challenge because of the ambiguous ionic interaction and codeposition mechanism. Herein, we report a oxygenates directionally induced electrodeposition strategy to construct high-entropy materials with amorphous features, on which the structural evolution from high-entropy phosphide to oxide is confirmed by introducing vanadate, thus realizing the simultaneous optimization of composition and structure. The representative P-CoNiMnWVOx shows excellent bifunctional catalytic performance toward alkaline hydrogen evolution reaction and ethanol oxidation reaction (EOR), with small potentials of -168 mV and 1.38 V at 100 mA cm-2, respectively. In situ spectroscopy illustrates that the electrochemical reconstruction of P-CoNiMnWVOx induces abundant Co-O species as the main catalytic active species for EOR and follows the conversion pathway of the C2 product. Theoretical calculations reveal the optimized electronic structure and adsorption free energy of reaction intermediates on P-CoNiMnWVOx, thereby resulting in a facilitated kinetic process. A membrane-free electrolyzer delivers both high Faradaic efficiencies of acetate and H2 over 95% and superior stability at100 mA cm-2 during 120 h electrolysis. In addition, the unique composition and structural advantages endow P-CoNiMnWVOx with multifunctional catalytic activity and realize multipathway electrosynthesis of formate-coupled hydrogen production.

RESUMO

We propose using physical-informed neural network (PINN) for power evolution prediction in bidirectional Raman amplified WDM systems with Rayleigh backscattering (RBS). Unlike models based on data-driven machine learning, PINN can be effectively trained without preparing a large amount of data in advance and can learn the potential rules of power evolution. Compared to previous applications of PINN in power prediction, our model considers bidirectional Raman pumping and RBS, which is more practical. We experimentally demonstrate power evolution prediction of 200 km bidirectional Raman amplified wavelength-division multiplexed (WDM) system with 47 channels and 8 pumps using PINN. The maximum prediction error of PINN compared to experimental results is only 0.38 dB, demonstrating great potential for application in power evolution prediction. The power evolution predicted by PINN shows good agreement with the results simulated by traditional numerical method, but its efficiency is more suitable for establishing models and calculating noise, providing convenience for subsequent power configuration optimization.

RESUMO

The current literature on multiple idiopathic cervical root resorption (MICRR), a rare and aggressive form of external root resorption, is limited to case reports and series. Therefore, we performed a systematic review of this condition. A comprehensive search of PubMed, Embase, Web of science, Cochrane Library, CNKI, and WANFANG was conducted using key terms relevant to MICRR, supplemented by a grey literature search. Risk of bias was assessed using Cochrane's and Joanna Briggs Institute's tools. A total of 36 studies with 47 cases were included. MICRR is more common among younger females and may be related to hormonal changes and denosumab use. Initially, the premolars are usually affected but all permanent teeth may eventually be involved. Cone-beam computed tomography is recommended for diagnosis and assessment of resorptive lesions. The management is focused on complete removal and restoration of the resorptive tissue to maintain the tooth's structural integrity. However, MICRR usually has a poor prognosis. Due to its invasive and aggressive behavior, MICRR requires greater attention.

RESUMO

Objective: Fibromyalgia is a chronic musculoskeletal disorder characterized by generalized pain, which is also known as "muscular rheumatism" in Chinese medicine. We undertook this systematic review to evaluate the effectiveness of non-pharmacological traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) combined with conventional therapy on pain, health status, depression, and the quality of life of fibromyalgia patients. Methods: Studies were retrieved from five electronic databases (PubMed, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Web of Science) with publication date up to August 2022. We included randomized controlled trials examining the effects of a combination of non-pharmacological TCM and conventional therapy on pain intensity, health status, depression, and quality of life. Results: Four randomized controlled trials with 384 fibromyalgia patients met the inclusion criteria. Results of the meta-analysis showed that non-pharmacological TCM combined with conventional therapy exerted significant positive effects on alleviating pain at the post-intervention time point than conventional therapy only (visual analog scale WMD1 = -1.410, P < 0.01; pressure pain threshold WMD2 = 0.830, P < 0.001, respectively). Significant differences in pain assessment were also observed between the two groups after a long-term follow-up (12 months) (WMD1 = -1.040 and WMD2= 0.380, all P < 0.05). The combination therapy group also showed a greater reduction in fibromyalgia impact questionnaire than the control group after a long-term follow-up (WMD = -6.690, P < 0.05). Depression and pain-related quality of life showed no difference between groups (all P > 0.05). Conclusion: Non-pharmacological TCM combined with conventional therapy may be more effective in alleviating pain and improving health status than conventional therapy only. However, it remains some concerns over the safety and clinic application. Systematic review registration: Identifier: CRD42022352991.

RESUMO

The determination of lead in import ginseng was studied, where microwave assimilation offers a quick, safe and accurate approach with little pollution compared to conventional methods. In the measurements graphite-furnace atomic absorption spectrometry (GFAAS) was used with the advantages of high sensitivity, high speed and little wastage. The microwave assimilation was programed, the mixed acid was analyzed, the problem of the effect of final assimilating liquid on the inspection results was solved, and the inspection conditions of GFAAS were studied. Based on the many experimental results, the suitable incinerating temperature and atomizing temperature were chosen, and the final graphite-furnace temperature-rising program was determined. This method shows a linear range of 0-100 micrograms.L-1, a determination limit of 2.80 micrograms.L-1, a relative standard deviation of 0.91% and a recovery of 98.13%. The precision and accuracy are satisfying.
