RESUMEN
Three ΔI=1 bands with the πg_{9/2}âνg_{9/2} configuration have been identified in _{35}^{74}Br_{39}. Angular distribution, linear polarization, and lifetime measurements were performed to determine the multipolarity, type, mixing ratio, and absolute transition probability of the transitions. By comparing these experimental observations with the corresponding fingerprints and the quantum particle rotor model calculations, the second and third lowest bands are, respectively, suggested as the chiral partner and one-phonon wobbling excitation built on the yrast band. The evidence indicates the first chiral wobbler in nuclei.

Revealing the microscopic structural and dynamic pictures of glasses is a long-standing challenge for scientists1,2. Extensive studies on the structure and relaxation dynamics of glasses have constructed the current classical picture3-5: glasses consist of some 'soft zones' of loosely bound atoms embedded in a tightly bound atomic matrix. Recent experiments have found an additional fast process in the relaxation spectra6-9, but the underlying physics of this process remains unclear. Here, combining extensive dynamic experiments and computer simulations, we reveal that this fast relaxation is associated with string-like diffusion of liquid-like atoms, which are inherited from the high-temperature liquids. Even at room temperature, some atoms in dense-packed metallic glasses can diffuse just as easily as they would in liquid states, with an experimentally determined viscosity as low as 107 Pa·s. This finding extends our current microscopic picture of glass solids and might help establish the dynamics-property relationship of glasses4.
RESUMEN
The relativistic spin Hall effect and inverse spin Hall effect enable the efficient generation and detection of spin current. Recently, a nonrelativistic altermagnetic spin splitting effect (ASSE) has been theoretically and experimentally reported to generate time-reversal-odd spin current with controllable spin polarization in antiferromagnet RuO_{2}. The inverse effect, electrical detection of spin current via ASSE, still remains elusive. Here we show the spin-to-charge conversion stemming from ASSE in RuO_{2} by the spin Seebeck effect measurements. Unconventionally, the spin Seebeck voltage can be detected even when the injected spin current is polarized along the directions of either the voltage channel or the thermal gradient, indicating the successful conversion of x- and z-spin polarizations into the charge current. The crystal axes-dependent conversion efficiency further demonstrates that the nontrivial spin-to-charge conversion in RuO_{2} is ascribed to ASSE, which is distinct from the magnetic or antiferromagnetic inverse spin Hall effects. Our finding not only advances the emerging research landscape of altermagnetism, but also provides a promising pathway for the spin detection.

AIM: To examine the current landscape of US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved artificial intelligence (AI) medical imaging devices and identify trends in clinical validation strategy. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A retrospective study was conducted that analysed data extracted from the American College of Radiology (ACR) Data Science Institute AI Central database as of November 2021 to identify trends in FDA clearance of AI products related to medical imaging. Product and clinical validation information of each device was gathered from their respective public 510(k) summary or de novo request submission, depending on their type of authorisation. RESULTS: Overall, the database included a total of 151 AI algorithms that were cleared by the FDA between 2008 and November 2021. Out of the 151 FDA summaries reviewed, 97 (64.2%) reported the use of clinical data to validate their device, with six (4%) revealing study participant demographics, and eight (5.3%) reporting the specifications of the machines used. A total of 51 (33.8%) AI devices characterised their clinical data as multicentre, three (2%) as single-centre, and the remaining 97 (64.2%) did not specify. The ground truth used for clinical validation was specified in 78 (51.6%) FDA summaries. CONCLUSION: A wide breadth of AI algorithms has been developed for medical imaging. Most of the FDA summaries of the devices mention their use of clinical data and patient cases for device validation; however, few devices revealed the patient demographics or machine specifications used in their clinical studies, which may lead some consumers to question their external validation.

PURPOSE: To investigate the association of cytochrome P450 2E1 (CYP2E1) C-1054T (rs2031920) and 96-bp I/D genetic variations with the risk of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), and to estimate the effects of genotypes on the clinical, metabolic, hormonal, and oxidative stress indicators. METHODS: This case-control study included 762 control women and 1034 patients with PCOS. Genotypes were determined using polymerase chain reaction and/or restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis. Clinical and biochemical parameters were also analyzed. RESULTS: Frequencies of the TT + CT genotype (35.4 vs. 28.9%) and T allele (19.6 vs. 16.0%) of the CYP2E1 C-1054T polymorphism were significantly higher in the PCOS group than in the control group (OR = 1.350, 95% CI 1.103-1.652, P = 0.004 for the dominant model). Genotype TT + CT remained a significant predictor of PCOS in a logistic regression model including age, body mass index (BMI), and recruitment year of participants (OR = 1.345, 95% CI 1.071-1.688, P = 0.011). No statistical differences were found in the genotype and allele frequencies of CYP2E1 96-bp I/D polymorphism. However, the combined genotype DD/TT + CT was related to an increased risk of PCOS when the DD/CC wild-type combined genotype was used as a reference. Patients with the I allele of 96-bp I/D polymorphism had a lower BMI but higher plasma apolipoprotein B and oxidized low-density lipoprotein cholesterol levels than those with the DD genotype. CONCLUSION: CYP2E1 C-1054T, but not 96-bp I/D, genetic polymorphism is associated with an increased risk of PCOS in Chinese women.

Objective: To retrospectively analyze the risk factors of anastomotic leakage in the neck after esophageal cancer and establish a nomogram prediction model that can accurately predict the occurrence of anastomotic leakage in the neck of the patient. Methods: The study retrospectively analyzed 702 patients who underwent radical esophageal cancer surgery between January 2010 and May 2015 at Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College. A multivariate logistic regression model was used to determine the risk factors for neck anastomotic leak, and a nomogram model was constructed, internal validation methods were used to evaluate and verify the predictive effectiveness of the nomogram. Results: There were 702 patients in the whole group, 492 in the training group and 210 in the validation group. The incidence of postoperative cervical anastomotic leak was 16.1% (79/492) in 492 patients with esophageal cancer in the training group. Multifactorial analysis revealed calcification of the descending aorta (OR=2.12, 95% CI: 1.14, 3.94, P=0.018), calcification of the celiac artery (OR=2.29, 95% CI: 1.13, 4.64, P=0.022), peripheral vascular disease (OR=5.50, 95% CI: 1.64, 18.40, P=0.006), postoperative ventilator-assisted breathing (OR=5.33, 95% CI: 1.83, 15.56, P=0.002), pleural effusion or septic chest (OR=3.08, 95% CI: 1.11, 8.55, P=0.031), incisional fat liquefaction and infection (OR=3.49, 95% CI: 1.68, 7.27, P=0.001) were independent risk factors for the development of cervical anastomotic leak after esophageal cancer surgery. The results of the nomogram prediction model showed that the consistency indices of the training and external validation groups were 0.73 and 0.74, respectively (P<0.001), suggesting that the prediction model has good predictive efficacy. Conclusion: The nomogram prediction model can intuitively predict the incidence of postoperative cervical anastomotic leakage in patients with high prediction accuracy, which can help provide a clinical basis for preventing cervical anastomotic leak and individualized treatment of patients.

Objective: To analyze the vaginal microecological status of vaginitis population and non-vaginitis population of gynecological female outpatients. Methods: A total of 30 265 women who visited the gynecological outpatient clinic of Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from December 2018 to December 2020 completed vaginal microecological examination. After removing the follow-up patients, 23 181 women were divided into group with symptoms and signs of vaginitis (6 697 cases) and group without symptoms and signs of vaginitis (16 484 cases), according to whether the women with symptoms and signs of vaginitis or not. And the vaginal microecological status of the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results: (1) The total detection rate of vaginitis in the initial women was 34.87% (8 083/23 181), of which 46.10% (3 087/6 697) in group with symptoms and signs of vaginitis and 30.31% (4 996/16 484) in group without symptoms and signs of vaginitis, nearly 1/3 of the gynecological outpatients without signs and symptoms of vaginitis had vaginitis. (2) Among the types of simple vaginitis, vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) was the most frequent in group with symptoms and signs of vaginitis (16.01%, 1 072/6 697), followed by aerobic vaginitis (AV; 12.83%, 859/6 697), with significant differences compared with group without symptoms and signs of vaginitis (all P<0.001). There were no statistical differences between the two groups of bacterial vaginosis (BV) and trichomonal vaginitis (TV), indicating that BV and TV were more likely to be neglected (all P>0.05). (3) The proportion of various combinations of vaginitis among 2 632 cases of mixed vaginitis were, in descending order: BV+AV, VVC+AV, BV+AV+VVC, AV+TV, AV+TV+BV, BV+VVC. (4) Microecological analysis of 15 098 cases diagnosed with non-vaginitis had normal flora (including those with normal flora and those with normal flora but decreased function) in 14 013 cases (92.81%, 14 013/15 098), abnormal flora in 429 cases (2.84%, 429/15 098) and the BV intermediate in 656 cases (4.34%, 656/15 098); this indicated that the vast majority of the microecological tests were normal in the vaginal microbiota of those without vaginitis. Conclusions: Microecological examination could diagnose multiple pathogenic infections at once, and is especially important as a guide for the definitive diagnosis of mixed vaginitis and vaginitis with atypical clinical symptoms. Vaginal infections such as BV and TV that are easily overlooked should be concerned.

Current-induced spin torques provide efficient data writing approaches for magnetic memories. Recently, the spin splitting torque (SST) was theoretically predicted, which combines advantages of conventional spin transfer torque (STT) and spin-orbit torque (SOT) as well as enables controllable spin polarization. Here we provide the experimental evidence of SST in collinear antiferromagnet RuO_{2} films. The spin current direction is found to be correlated to the crystal orientation of RuO_{2} and the spin polarization direction is dependent on (parallel to) the Néel vector. These features are quite characteristic for the predicted SST. Our finding not only presents a new member for the spin torques besides traditional STT and SOT, but also proposes a promising spin source RuO_{2} for spintronics.
RESUMEN
Pulmonary enteric adenocarcinoma (PEAC), as a rare histologic subtype of primary lung adenocarcinoma, is defined as an adenocarcinoma in which the enteric component exceeds 50%. It is named after its shared morphological and immunohistochemical features with colorectal cancer. While with such similarity, the differential diagnosis of PEAC and lung metastatic colorectal cancer is a great challenge in the clinic. PEAC may originate from the intestinal metaplasia of respiratory basal cells stimulated by risk factors such as smoking. Current studies have found that KRAS is a relatively high-frequency mutation gene, and other driver gene mutations are rare. In terms of immunohistochemistry, in pulmonary enteric adenocarcinoma, the positive rate was 88.2% (149/169) for CK7, 78.1% (132/169) for CDX2, 48.2% (82/170) for CK20 and 38.8% (66/170) for TTF1. As for clinical features, the average age of onset for pulmonary enteric adenocarcinoma was 62 years, male patients accounted for 56.5% (35/62), smokers accounted for 78.8% (41/52), and 41.4% (24/58) of the primary lesion was located in the upper lobe of the right lung. In terms of treatment, conventional non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) regimens rather than colorectal cancer regimens are now recommended. There is still an urgent need for more basic and clinical research, in-depth exploration of its molecular feature and pathogenesis from the level of omics and other aspects, to help diagnosis and differential diagnosis, and find the optimal chemotherapy regimen, possibly effective targeted therapy and even immunotherapy.

Objective: To investigate the dynamic changes of vaginal microbiota in different phases of menstrual cycle in healthy Chinese women of childbearing age. Methods: A total of 11 healthy women of childbearing age with regular menstruation, who had physical examination in the Gynecology Clinic of Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital from September to December 2020 were randomly selected as research subjects. Vaginal secretions were collected during menstrual phase (2nd-3rd day), mid-follicular phase (7th-8th day), and mid-luteal phase (21st-22nd day) for microbiota analysis through metagenomic sequencing. Results: (1) Vaginal microbiota species were the most diverse in menstrual phase and the least in follicular phase, observing dominant vaginal bacteria gradually changing to Lactobacillus from menstrual phase to follicular phase and then to luteal phase. (2) The dynamic evolution of vaginal microbiota from menstrual phase to follicular phase and then to luteal phase was divided into: no change in dominant bacteria, replacement of dominant bacteria, changes in the proportion of dominant bacteria, and recurrence of dominant bacteria (non-Lactobacillus-dominance appeared again in luteal phase after returning to normal Lactobacillus-dominance in follicular phase). (3) Prevotella, especially Prevotella_bivia, was significantly higher during menstrual phase. Conclusions: Healthy vaginal microbiota should be relatively stable, but also have the ability of dynamic change and self-recovery. Prevotella plays a central role among opportunistic pathogens in the vagina, whose function remains to be investigated.

The prognosis of lung cancer remains poor due to the limited biomarker selection for treating patients with optimal chemotherapy. The aim of this study is to discover and identify new biomarkers with the value of predicting chemotherapy responses in a lung adenocarcinoma (AD) specimen. In this study, six pairs of pre-treatment fresh primary lung AD-cancer tumors with varied chemotherapy responses were used to discover new biomarkers by two-dimensional difference gel electrophoresis (2D DIGE). Among the matched protein spots, 19 were up-regulated and 18 were down-regulated in chemo-sensitive tumors versus chemo-resistant tissues. These differentially expressed proteins could be divided into five classes: redox regulation protein, the cytoskeletal protein, cell metabolism enzymes or proteins, apoptosis, signal transduction mediated molecules, and other functional proteins. Proteins of interest, including PRDX2, PRDX6, and Gelsolin, were differentially expressed in chemo-sensitive tumors versus chemo-resistant tissues and these observations were validated by immunohistochemistry in 92 formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) specimens. Our results demonstrated that PRDX6 protein expression was closely related to tumor response (cc2 = 5.57, P < 0.05), whereas no relationship of PRDX2 and Gelsolin were obtained with tumor response (cc2 = 0.51 P > 0.05, cc2 = 0.41 P > 0.05). This tissue proteomics study provides evidence that PRDX6 may be regarded as a predictive biomarker for poor chemotherapy response, which can be helpful in guiding pretreatment protocols.

When a spatially uniform temperature change is imposed on a solid with more than one phase, or on a polycrystal of a single, non-cubic phase (showing anisotropic expansion-contraction), the resulting thermal strain is inhomogeneous (non-affine). Thermal cycling induces internal stresses, leading to structural and property changes that are usually deleterious. Glasses are the solids that form on cooling a liquid if crystallization is avoided--they might be considered the ultimate, uniform solids, without the microstructural features and defects associated with polycrystals. Here we explore the effects of cryogenic thermal cycling on glasses, specifically metallic glasses. We show that, contrary to the null effect expected from uniformity, thermal cycling induces rejuvenation, reaching less relaxed states of higher energy. We interpret these findings in the context that the dynamics in liquids become heterogeneous on cooling towards the glass transition, and that there may be consequent heterogeneities in the resulting glasses. For example, the vibrational dynamics of glassy silica at long wavelengths are those of an elastic continuum, but at wavelengths less than approximately three nanometres the vibrational dynamics are similar to those of a polycrystal with anisotropic grains. Thermal cycling of metallic glasses is easily applied, and gives improvements in compressive plasticity. The fact that such effects can be achieved is attributed to intrinsic non-uniformity of the glass structure, giving a non-uniform coefficient of thermal expansion. While metallic glasses may be particularly suitable for thermal cycling, the non-affine nature of strains in glasses in general deserves further study, whether they are induced by applied stresses or by temperature change.

Objective: To explore the effect of circBIRC6 on cisplatin resistance of ovarian cancer cells and the molecular mechanism. Methods: The ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3 and ovarian cancer cisplatin-resistant cell line SKOV3 / DDP were cultured in vitro, and treated with different concentrations of cisplatin. SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells were transfected with si-NC, si-circBIRC6, si-circBIRC6+ anti-miR-NC, si-circBIRC6+ anti-miR-367-3p by liposome-mediated method, which were denoted as DDP+ si-NC group, DDP+ si-circBIRC6 group, DDP+ si-circBIRC6+ anti-miR-NC group and DDP+ si-circBIRC6+ anti-miR-367-3p group, respectively, and then were treated with 2 µg/ml cisplatin for 24 hours. The cell proliferation inhibition rate was detected by 3-(4, 5-dimethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2, 5-diphenyl-2H tetrazolium bromide method, and the half inhibitory concentration (IC(50)) value of cisplatin was calculated. Real-time fluorescent quantitative polymerase chain reaction was used to detect the transcriptional levels of circBIRC6 and miR-367-3p. Flow cytometry was used to detect the apoptotic rate. Dual luciferase report experiment verified the targeting relationship of circBIRC6 and miR-367-3p. Western blot was used to detect the expressions of Cyclin D1, Bcl-2, p21, Bax. Results: The expression levels of circBIRC6 in SKOV3 cells were 1.00±0.05, significantly lower than 3.04±0.24 in SKOV3/DDP cells (P<0.001). The expression levels of miR-367-3p in SKOV3 cells were 1.00±0.08, significantly higher than 0.54±0.05 in SKOV3/DDP cells (P<0.001). The cell proliferation inhibition rates of SKOV3 cells and SKOV3/DDP cells were (22.47±2.04)% and (8.84±0.71)%, the IC(50) values of SKOV3 cells and SKOV3/DDP cells were 6.65±0.94 and 28.18±4.91, respectively, with significant difference (P<0.05). The proliferation inhibition rate and apoptosis rate of SKOV3 cells in DDP+ si-NC group[(22.19±2.19)% and (10.98±1.12)%] were lower than those in DDP+ si-circBIRC6 group [(74.18±5.36)% and (32.91±3.19)%, all P<0.05]. The proliferation inhibition rate and apoptosis rate of SKOV3/DDP cells[(8.71±0.87)% and (7.39±0.63)%] were lower than those of DDP+ si-circBIRC6 group [(40.85±4.07)% and (25.31±2.53)%, all P<0.05]. The protein expression levels of Cyclin D1 and Bcl-2 in SKOV3 and SKOV3/DDP cells in DDP+ si-circBIRC6 group were lower than those in DDP+ si-NC group, and the protein expression levels of p21 and Bax were higher than those in DDP+ si-NC group (all P<0.05). The dual luciferase report experiment confirmed that circBIRC6 targeted miR-367-3p. Inhibition of miR-367-3p expression reduced the effect of circBIRC6 deletion on ovarian cancer cell proliferation, apoptosis and cisplatin resistance. Conclusion: Knockdown of circBIRC6 may inhibit the proliferation of ovarian cancer cisplatin-resistant cells and induce apoptosis by up-regulating the expression of miR-367-3p, therefore impair the cisplatin resistance of these cells.

The effects of vitamin K (VK) on immune cells in ruminants are yet to be fully investigated. The objective of this study was to examine the effects of VK on peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) in Holstein dairy cows. A cell proliferation assay was performed to evaluate the effect of menaquinone-4 (MK-4, the biologically active form of VK) on immune response of PBMC. The proliferation of PBMC stimulated by MK-4 was significantly higher than that of nonstimulated controls. The expression of T cell-related genes in PBMC, stimulated with MK-4, was assessed by quantitative PCR. No significant changes were observed in the mRNA expression levels of both CD4 and CD8 as helper T cell and cytotoxic T cell markers, respectively. The present study demonstrated that MK-4 positively influenced cow PBMC proliferation and suggested the possibility of bovine-specific immune cell activation. The present study lays a foundation for understanding the physiological role of VK in cattle.

In order to achieve the overall victory over 2019 novel coronavirus disease epidemic, especially to prevent the disease recurrence from rebounding during the resumption of labor, the government has not loosened any control of personnel mobility, which has obviously affected the normal examination and treatment of lung cancer patients under the influence of this epidemic. During the epidemic period, cancer patients with low immunity levels face the double ordeals of disease and epidemic situation. Compared with the general population, they are more likely to be infected with the new coronavirus. Among the infected cancer patients, lung cancer is the most common type. It is necessary to provide more appropriate individualized treatment recommendations for patients with lung cancer based on the epidemic situation of the patient's location and in combination with the patient's own condition. Through active prevention of infection, timely conversion of treatment strategies, online and offline joint control, and positive psychological counseling, we do our best to help patients with lung cancer to survive this difficult period.

Objective: To deliver macro understanding of the latest research progress on clinical trials and approved products of cancer drugs in China in 2019. Methods: The number of clinical trials and related investigational products by domestic and foreign enterprises in 2019 were acquired in the China Food and Drug Administration Registration and Information Disclosure Platform for Drug Clinical Studies, while listed drugs were obtained in the China Food and Drug Administration Query System for Domestic and Imported Drug. Characteristics on stage, scope, indication of those trials, classification and mechanism of involved products, as well as listed anticancer drugs were summarized and depicted. Results: There were 474 cancer drug trials registered in China in 2019, accounting for 21.8% of the total, and 397 (83.8%) were initiated by domestic pharmaceutical enterprises. Overall, international multicenter trials accounted for 13.1%, and phase I trials accounted for 47.3%. Compared with global enterprises, the proportion of international multi-center trials initiated by domestic companies is lower (4.8% vs. 55.8%, P<0.001), and the proportion of phase I clinical trials and bioequivalence trials is higher (51.9% vs. 23.4%, 19.4% vs. 1.3%, P<0.001). An accumulative of 27 cancer types were involved for all the cancer drug trials, and lung cancer, solid tumor, and breast cancer were the most common cancer types, with 103, 95 and 49 trials, respectively. For the three cancer types unique to Chinese population, gastric, liver and esophageal cancer, the total number of initiated trials was 47. For all those trials, there were 335 cancer drug varieties, with 86.0% developed by domestic pharmaceutical enterprises, including 300 therapeutic drugs, 30 adjunctive drugs and 5 preventive drugs. In terms of mechanism, targeted drugs and immune drugs were the most popular, accounting for 74.6% and 20.3%, respectively. In addition, 17 anticancer drugs targeting on 11 cancer types were approved in China in 2019. Conclusions: Clinical trials on cancer drugs in China have ushered a booming era, with large number of innovative agents represented by targeted drugs and immune drugs under clinical development or putting into clinical practice. Those local enterprises are playing more and more critical roles. Strengthening clinical research and development on Chinese unique cancer types is the key direction of future work.

The most common abnormalities of ECG were T wave abnormality (27.9%, 12/43), sinus tachycardia (16.3%,7/43), ST-T change (14%, 6/43) and right bundle branch block (7%, 3/43). The common manifestations of echocardiography were left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (23.3%, 10/43) and pericardial effusion (23.3%, 10/43). As compared with DM patients without cardiac involvement, DM patients with cardiac damage were more likely to have rapidly progressive interstitial lung disease (ILD), skin damage, anemia, elevated creatine kinase, decreased C3 and serum albumin (P<0.05). Positive anti-Ro-52 antibody and Jo-1 antibody were detected more common in DM with cardiac involvement(P<0.05). Conclusions: Cardiac damage is common complication of DM. Manifestations of cardiac damaging are varied. Rapid progressive ILD and positive Jo-1 and Ro-52 antibodies are more common in this group. Clinicians should improve the awareness of cardiac involvement in DM patients.

Objective: To detect karyotype homology of vaginal isolates from patients with recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC) in recurrent episodes, and to discuss changes of susceptibility of Candida strains to antifungal drugs with clinical progress. Method: s Ten patients were recruited from Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, Capital Medical University from September 2018 to June 2019, who were firstly diagnosed with RVVC. Vaginal discharges were collected before first treatment and after first relapse. Vaginal strains were isolated, purificated and identificated. Then karyotype of 20 strains isolated from 10 patients were detected by restriction endonuclease analysis of genomic DNA (REAG) using enzyme BssHâ ¡and pulsed field gel electrophoresis (PFGE) methods, and sensitivity of clinical isolates to 5 antifungal drugs (clostridium, fluconazole, miconazole, itraconazole and nystatin) was also detected using disk diffusion method. Result: s (1) All 20 strains of 10 patients with RVVC were Candida albicans, and their chromosomes were extremely similar after BssHâ ¡ enzyme digestion. The gene bands of isolated strains from the same patient were completely identical. (2) After clinical medication, the sensitivity of vaginal isolates to azoles was generally decreased, but remained highly sensitive to nystatin, nystatin (first and second clinical isolates: 100% sensitivity and 100% sensitivity)>clotrimazole (100% sensitivity and 90% sensitivity)>fluconazole (80% sensitivity and 70% sensitivity)>itraconazole (60% sensitivity and 50% sensitivity)>miconazole (30% sensitivity and 20% sensitivity). Conclusions: (1) The latency of the same colonized strain in the vagina may be the cause of repeated RVVC episodes. (2) Antifungal agents could selectively induce drug resistance to Candidas, and Candidas show cross-resistance to antifungal agents. Repeated fungal culture and drug sensitivity test in patients with RVVC are very necessary for correct selection of antifungals.

Objective: The existed economic evaluations of cancer screening in Chinese population are almost all single-cancer focused, evidence on parallel comparison among multiple cancers is lacking. Thus, the aim of this study was, from a priority setting perspective, to compare the cost-effectiveness of six common cancers(colorectal cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer and stomach cancer) to facilitate policy making in future scaled-up screening in populations in China. Methods: Partially based on our previous single-cancer systematic reviews (colorectal cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, and lung cancer), evidence of economic evaluations of cancer screening in populations in mainland China were systematically updated and integrated. The main updates include: 1) Stomach cancer and esophageal cancer were newly added to the current analysis. 2) The literature searching was extended to 8 literature databases, including PubMed, EMbase, The Cochrane Library, Web of Science, CBM, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and VIP. 3) The period of publication year was updated to the recent 10 years: January 1, 2009 to December 31, 2018. 4) The study focused on populations in mainland China. Following the standard processes of literature searching, inclusion and exclusion from previous systematic reviews, the basic characteristics, evaluation indicators and main results of the included studies were extracted. All the costs were discounted to 2017 value using the by-year consumer price index of medical and health care residents in China and presented in the Chinese Yuan (CNY). The ratios of incremental cost-effectiveness ratio (ICER) to China's per capita GDP in 2017 were calculated (<1 means very cost-effective, 1-3 means cost-effective, >3 means not cost-effective). Given a specific indicator, the median value among all reported screening strategies for each cancer was calculated, based on which priority ranking was then conducted among all cancers when data available. Results: A total of 45 studies were included, 22 for breast cancer, 12 for colorectal cancer, 6 for stomach cancer, 4 for esophageal cancer (all conducted in high-risk areas), 1 for liver cancer and none for lung cancer (was not then considered for next ranking due to limited numbers of studies). When based on the indicator, the median ratio of cost per life-year saved to China's per capita GDP (reported in 12 studies), the lowest ratio (-0.015) was observed in esophageal cancer among 16 strategies of 2 studies (N=2, n=16), followed by 0.297 for colorectal cancer (N=3, n=12), 0.356 for stomach cancer (N=1, n=4) and 0.896 for breast cancer (N=6, n=52, P(75)=3.602). When based on another commonly used ICER indicator, the median ratio of cost per quality-adjusted life-year gained to China's per capita GDP (reported in 13 studies), the least cost was found in stomach cancer (0.495, N=3, n=8, P(75)=3.126), followed by esophageal cancer (0.960, N=1, n=4, P(75)=1.762) and breast cancer (2.056, N=9, n=64, P(75)=4.217). Data was not found for colorectal cancer. In addition, cost per cancer case detected was the most adopted indicator (32 studies). The median cost among all screening strategies for each cancer was 14 759 CNY for stomach cancer (N=5, n=7), 49 680 CNY for colorectal cancer (N=12, n=25) and 171 930 CNY for breast cancer (N=13, n=24), respectively. Data was not available for esophageal cancer and rare for precancer cases detected. Evidence related to cost per disability-adjusted life-year gained was not available. Conclusions: At China's national level and limited to the six cancers covered by the current study, the preliminary analysis suggests that stomach cancer and colorectal cancer were the most cost-effective target cancers and could be given priority in the future scaled-up screening in general populations. Esophageal cancer screening should be prioritized in high-risk areas. Breast cancer was also cost-effective in general but some of the intensive screening strategies were marginal. Data on liver cancer and lung cancer were too limited to conclude, and more well-designed studies and high-quality research evidence should be required. This priority ranking might be changed if other common cancers were involved analyses.
