RESUMEN

Extended-spectrum ß-lactamase-producing Escherichia (E.) coli (ESBL-EC) in the clinical setting have emerged as a major threat to public and animal health. Wildlife, including Rattus spp. may serve as reservoirs and spreaders of ESBL-EC in the environment. Peridomestic rats are well adapted to living in proximity to humans and animals in a variety of urban and agricultural environments and may serve as sentinels to identify variations of ESBL-EC within their different habitats. In this study, a set of 221 rats (Rattus norvegicus, R. tanezumi, R. andamanensis, and Niviventer huang) consisting of 104 rats from city areas, 44 from chicken farms, 52 from pig farms, and 21 from stables of horse-riding schools were screened for ESBL-EC. Overall, a total of 134 ESBL-EC were isolated from the caecal samples of 130 (59%) rats. The predominant blaESBL genes were blaCTX-M-14, blaCTX-M-15, blaCTX-M-55, and blaCTX-M-65. Phylogenetic analysis revealed a total of 62 sequence types (STs) and 17 SNP clusters. E. coli ST10 and ST155 were common to ESBL-EC from city areas and chicken farms, and ST44 were found among ESBL-EC from city areas and pig farms. Extra-intestinal pathogenic E. coli (ExPEC) ST69, ST131 and ST1193 were found exclusively among rats from city areas, and avian pathogenic E. coli (APEC) ST177 was restricted to ESBL-EC originating from chicken farms. Phylogenetic analysis showed that the populations of rodent ESBL-EC from city areas, chicken farms and pig farms were genetically different, suggesting a certain degree of partitioning between the human and animal locations. This study contributes to current understanding of ESBL-EC occurring in rats in ecologically diverse locations.

BACKGROUND: Embolic stroke is a formidable complication of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR). Mechanical strategies to reduce the risk of ischemic embolic lesions include embolic protection devices (EPDs) and carbon dioxide flushing (CDF). This study aims to assess the efficacy for EPD and CDF uses in TAVI and TEVAR. METHODS: A literature review was performed according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta-Analysis. All searches were performed via PubMed, OvidSP, MEDLINE, Web of Science Core Collection, and Cochrane Library. Conference abstracts and proceedings were included. Those that were out of scope of interest and review articles were excluded. RESULTS: Eighteen studies fulfilled the inclusion criteria of the 456 articles searched. Regarding EPD use in TAVI, systematic review comparing EPD with no-EPD showed smaller total volume of cerebral lesions and smaller volume per lesion in patients with EPD in all studies. They also performed better in postoperative neurocognitive assessments but could not demonstrate clinical prevention of embolic stroke in all studies. While for EPD use in TEVAR, capture of embolic debris and absence of early postoperative neurocognitive deficit were demonstrated in all cases of 2 prospective pilot studies. Concerning CDF in TEVAR, significant reduction in gaseous emboli released during stent-graft deployment was shown by 1 in vitro study. Successful CDF application in all patients, with only 1 case of postoperative nondisabling stroke, was also demonstrated by 1 cohort study. CONCLUSIONS: This systematic review of medical literature has demonstrated the safety and feasibility of EPD use in TAVI. Although improvements in clinical outcomes have yet been demonstrated, there was level I evidence showing reduced embolic lesions in imaging. The use of EPD and CDF in TEVAR was suggested, but evidence remained inadequate to support routine clinical use.

PURPOSE: International guidelines adopt risk stratification approach to manage patients with low-risk febrile neutropenia patients. We developed this out-patient program using shared-care model with professional input and patient empowerment, so as to reduce patients' psychological burden from hospitalization and to improve the cost-effectiveness of management. METHOD: This is a prospective cohort study to compare the efficacy and safeness of the out-patient program when compared with traditional in-patient care. Patients with solid tumors, developed febrile neutropenia with Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer score of at least 21, and good performance status were included. After initial assessment and the first dose of oral antibiotics, patients were observed in the ambulatory center. Stable patients were discharged home after 4 h of observation and nurse counseling. Patients' condition and clinical progress were regularly reviewed by specialist nurses within the following week by telephone and nurse clinic follow-up. The primary objective of the study is success rate, which defined as the resolution of fever and infection, without hospitalization or any change in antibiotics. RESULTS: From September 2014 to December 2016, a total of 38 patients were enrolled. Majority were female with breast cancer (97%). Two patients required hospitalization due to persistent fever. The success rate of the out-patient program was not significantly different from the historical in-patient cohort (94.9 versus 97.4%, p = 0.053). No mortality was observed. Patients' compliance to the program was 100%, to telephone follow-up, nurse clinic visits, and daily temperature record. CONCLUSION: Out-patient management of patients with low-risk febrile neutropenia is effective and safe through implementation of a structured protocol with joint inputs and engagement from clinicians, oncology nurses, and patients.

BACKGROUND: Pulse wave velocity (PWV), a measure of arterial stiffness, has been demonstrated to be an independent predictor of adverse cardiovascular outcomes. This can be derived non-invasively using cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). Changes in PWV during exercise may reveal further information on vascular pathology. However, most known CMR methods for quantifying PWV are currently unsuitable for exercise stress testing. METHODS: A velocity-sensitive real-time acquisition and evaluation (RACE) pulse sequence was adapted to provide interleaved acquisition of two locations in the descending aorta (at the level of the pulmonary artery bifurcation and above the renal arteries) at 7.8 ms temporal resolution. An automated method was used to calculate the foot-to-foot transit time of the velocity pulse wave. The RACE method was validated against a standard gated phase contrast (STD) method in flexible tube phantoms using a pulsatile flow pump. The method was applied in 50 healthy volunteers (28 males) aged 22-75 years using a MR-compatible cycle ergometer to achieve moderate work rate (38 ± 22 W, with a 31 ± 12 bpm increase in heart rate) in the supine position. Central pulse pressures were estimated using a MR-compatible brachial device. Scan-rescan reproducibility was evaluated in nine volunteers. RESULTS: Phantom PWV was 22 m/s (STD) vs. 26 ± 5 m/s (RACE) for a butyl rubber tube, and 5.5 vs. 6.1 ± 0.3 m/s for a latex rubber tube. In healthy volunteers PWV increased with age at both rest (R(2) = 0.31 p < 0.001) and exercise (R(2) = 0.40, p < 0.001). PWV was significantly increased at exercise relative to rest (0.71 ± 2.2 m/s, p = 0.04). Scan-rescan reproducibility at rest was -0.21 ± 0.68 m/s (n = 9). CONCLUSIONS: This study demonstrates the validity of CMR in the evaluation of PWV during exercise in healthy subjects. The results support the feasibility of using this method in evaluating of patients with systemic aortic disease.

Given the close contact between animals, animal products, and consumers in wet markets, fresh meat products are considered a potential source and disseminator of antimicrobial-resistant (AMR) bacteria near the end of the food chain. This cross-sectional study was conducted to estimate the prevalence of select AMR-E. coli in fresh chicken meat collected from wet markets in Hong Kong and to determine target genes associated with the observed resistance phenotypes. Following a stratified random sampling design, 180 fresh half-chickens were purchased from 29 wet markets across Hong Kong in 2022 and immediately processed. After incubation, selective isolation was performed for extended-spectrum ß-lactamase producing (ESBL), carbapenem-resistant (CRE), and colistin-resistant (CSR) E. coli. The bacterial isolates were identified using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS). Disc Diffusion was used to determine the susceptibility of ESBL- and CRE-E. coli isolates. The broth microdilution method was used to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration of CSR-E. coli. Targeted resistance genes were then detected by PCR. The prevalence of ESBL-E. coli and CSR-E. coli were estimated at 88.8% (95% CI: 83.4-93.1%) and 6.7% (95% CI: 3.5-11.4%), respectively. No CRE-E. coli isolate was detected. The blaCTX-M-1 gene was the most common ß-lactamase group in isolated E. coli (80%), followed by blaTEM (63.7%); no blaSHV gene was detected. Forty-five percent of the isolates had blaTEM and blaCTX-M-1 simultaneously. The mcr-1 gene was detected in all 12 CSR isolates. Of 180 meat samples, 59 were from Mainland China, and 121 were locally sourced. There was no statistically significant difference in the prevalence of ESBL- and CSR-E. coli between the two sources. Our findings can be used to inform food safety risk assessments and set the stage for adopting targeted control and mitigation measures tailored to the local wet markets.

Layered perovskites, a novel class of two-dimensional (2D) layered materials, exhibit versatile photophysical properties of great interest in photovoltaics and optoelectronics. However, their instability to environmental factors, particularly water, has limited their utility. In this study, we introduce an innovative solution to the problem by leveraging the unique properties of natural beeswax as a protective coating of 2D-fluorinated phenylethylammonium lead iodide perovskite. These photodetectors show outstanding figures of merit, such as a responsivity of >2200 A/W and a detectivity of 2.4 × 1018 Jones. The hydrophobic nature of beeswax endows the 2D perovskite sensors with an unprecedented resilience to prolonged immersion in contaminated water, and it increases the lifespan of devices to a period longer than one year. At the same time, the biocompatibility of the beeswax and its self-cleaning properties make it possible to use the very same turbidity sensors for healthcare in photoplethysmography and monitor the human heartbeat with clear systolic and diastolic signatures. Beeswax-enabled multipurpose optoelectronics paves the way to sustainable electronics by ultimately reducing the need for multiple components.

BACKGROUND: The pandemic caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has lasted for three years. Coinfection with seasonal influenza may occur resulting in more severe diseases. The interaction between these two viruses for infection and the effect of antiviral treatment remains unclear. METHODS: A SARS-CoV-2 and influenza H1N1 coinfection model on Calu-3 cell line was established, upon which the simultaneous and sequential coinfection was evaluated by comparing the viral load. The efficacy of molnupiravir and baloxavir against individual virus and coinfection were also studied. RESULTS: The replication of SARS-CoV-2 was significantly interfered when the influenza virus was infected simultaneously or in advance (p < 0.05). On the contrary, the replication of the influenza virus was not affected by the SARS-CoV-2. Molnupiravir monotherapy had significant inhibitory effect on SARS-CoV-2 when the concentration reached to 6.25 µM but did not show any significant anti-influenza activity. Baloxavir was effective against influenza within the dosage range and showed significant effect of anti-SARS-CoV-2 at 16 µM. In the treatment of coinfection, molnupiravir had significant effect for SARS-CoV-2 from 6.25 µM to 100 µM and inhibited H1N1 at 100 µM (p < 0.05). The tested dosage range of baloxavir can inhibit H1N1 significantly (p < 0.05), while at the highest concentration of baloxavir did not further inhibit SARS-CoV-2, and the replication of SARS-CoV-2 significantly increased in lower concentrations. Combination treatment can effectively inhibit influenza H1N1 and SARS-CoV-2 replication during coinfection. Compared with molnupiravir or baloxavir monotherapy, combination therapy was more effective in less dosage to inhibit the replication of both viruses. CONCLUSIONS: In coinfection, the replication of SARS-CoV-2 would be interfered by influenza H1N1. Compared with molnupiravir or baloxavir monotherapy, treatment with a combination of molnupiravir and baloxavir should be considered for early treatment in patients with SARS-CoV-2 and influenza coinfection.

Social determinants (SD) refer to a variety of environmental factors that can influence certain clinical outcomes. SD that affect clinical outcomes in trauma patients are largely understudied. We hypothesized that patients with an "at risk" (AR) classification for any SD will have a greater frequency of negative outcomes when compared to their "not at risk" (NAR) counterparts. A retrospective review was performed (1/2021-2/2022) of all trauma patients that met the inclusion criteria. 2225 patients were included. SD included (based on collection rates) for analysis were: tobacco use, stress, and intimate partner violence. Tobacco usage was the only SD that was significantly associated with a higher 30-day mortality. This study demonstrated a paucity of data in the medical record regarding SD. In an effort to provide more inclusive care and address health disparities in our patient population, there is a need for more complete data collection upon admission/duration of hospital stay.

The electrical behavior and the photoresponse of rhenium disulfide field-effect transistors (FETs) have been widely studied; however, only a few works have investigated the photocurrent as a function of temperature. In this paper, we perform the electrical characterization of few-layer ReS2-based FETs with Cr-Au contacts over a wide temperature range. We exploit the temperature-dependent transfer and output characteristics to estimate the effective Schottky barrier at the Cr-Au/ReS2 interface and to investigate the temperature behavior of parameters, such as the threshold voltage, carrier concentration, mobility, and subthreshold swing. Through time-resolved photocurrent measurements, we show that the photocurrent increases with temperature and exhibits a linear dependence on the incident light power at both low and room temperatures and a longer rise/decay time at higher temperatures. We surmise that the photocurrent is affected by the photobolometric effect and light-induced desorption of adsorbates which are facilitated by the high temperature and the low pressure.

Accurate positioning of the total ankle arthroplasty implant components with the absence of any hindfoot deformity does not preclude the development of bony impingement. In cases of ankle stiffness after total ankle arthroplasty, the usual limitation is in dorsiflexion. If triceps surae contracture is excluded or persistent restriction remains in ankle dorsiflexion after gastrocnemius recession or tendo-Achilles lengthening, posterior ankle capsulectomy, debridement of posterior ankle gutter, and release of the deep posterior deltoid ligament and the posterior talofibular ligament are indicated. In this Technical Note, the technical details of endoscopic posterior ankle decompression and release after total ankle arthroplasty are described.

We report the fabrication and optoelectronic characterization of field-effect transistors (FETs) based on few-layer ReSe2. The devices show n-type conduction due to the Cr contacts that form low Schottky barriers with the ReSe2 nanosheet. We show that the optoelectronic performance of these FETs is strongly affected by air pressure, and it undergoes a dramatic increase in conductivity when the pressure is lowered below the atmospheric one. Surface-adsorbed oxygen and water molecules are very effective in doping ReSe2; hence, FETs based on this two-dimensional (2D) semiconductor can be used as an effective air pressure gauge. Finally, we report negative photoconductivity in the ReSe2 channel that we attribute to a back-gate-dependent trapping of the photo-excited charges.

Chelonians are recognized as a source of human salmonellosis through direct contact or consumption of their meat. Freshwater turtles sold for food are widely available in wet markets in Asia. In this pilot study, 50 turtles belonging to three species were randomly sampled from wet markets throughout Hong Kong. The turtles were humanely euthanised and their feces or the colon were sampled for Salmonella culture. The Salmonella isolates obtained were serotyped and examined for phenotypic antimicrobial resistance and the presence of antimicrobial resistance genes. The study reports a high prevalence (42%, 95% CI: 29.4-55.8) and considerable serotype diversity of Salmonella among turtles sold in wet markets. The most common among the 11 serotypes isolated were S. Oranienburg and S. Thompson, which have been reported in turtles previously. The serotype S. Manhattan is reported in chelonians for the first time. Resistance to streptomycin and chloramphenicol was common, despite the latter being banned from aquaculture in mainland China since 2002. Resistance against fluoroquinolones and third-generation cephalosporins which represent first-line treatment options for salmonellosis was also observed. The multidrug-resistance gene cfr is identified for the first time in Salmonella. This is a worrying finding as it indicates an expansion of the cfr reservoir and potential horizontal spread to other bacteria. The results of this study emphasize the need for close surveillance of Salmonella from turtles sold as food and better regulation of turtle farming to safeguard public health and improve animal welfare.

By vaccinating SARS-CoV-2 naïve individuals who have already received two doses of COVID-19 vaccines, we aimed to investigate whether a heterologous prime-boost strategy, using vaccines of different platforms as the booster dose, can enhance the immune response against SARS-CoV-2 virus variants. Participants were assigned into four groups, each receiving different combination of vaccinations: two doses of BNT162b2 followed by one dose of BNT162b2 booster (B-B-B); Combination of BNT162b2 (first dose) and CoronaVac (second dose) followed by one dose of BNT162b2 booster (B-C-B); two doses of CoronaVac followed by one dose of CoronaVac booster (C-C-C); two doses of CoronaVac followed by one dose of BNT162b2 booster (C-C-B). The neutralizing antibody in sera against the virus was determined with live virus microneutralization assay (vMN). The B-B-B group and C-C-B group demonstrated significantly higher immunogenicity against SARS-CoV-2 Wild type (WT), Beta variant (BV) and Delta variant (DV). In addition, the B-B-B group and C-C-B group showed reduced but existing protection against Omicron variant (OV). Moreover, A persistent rise in vMN titre against OV was observed 3 days after booster dose. Regarding safety, a heterologous prime-boost vaccine strategy is well tolerated. In this study, it was demonstrated that using vaccines of different platforms as booster dose can enhance protection against SARS-CoV-2 variants, offering potent neutralizing activity against wild-type virus (WT), Beta variant (BV), Delta variant (DV) and some protection against the Omicron variant (OV). In addition, a booster mRNA vaccine results in a more potent immune response than inactivated vaccine regardless of which platform was used for prime doses.

AIM: Many young people with mental health problems refuse to seek help because of stigma and leave the problem untreated. Previous research suggests that contact interventions with education could improve the stigma of mental illness in young people, thereby encouraging help-seeking in distress. The current study examined the effectiveness of a multifaceted programme, the Mindshift educational networking programme (MENP), in promoting a positive mental health culture in Hong Kong secondary schools. METHODS: The MENP provided activities at school, teacher and student levels to 14 Hong Kong secondary schools. School activities included visits, mental health talks and support for capstone projects. While teachers participated in workshops and regional seminars, students received ambassador training workshops, contact opportunities with people with psychosis and attachment programmes. The impact of MENP was evaluated by changes in students' knowledge, attitudes and behaviours toward people with psychosis and mental illness before and after the programme, as well as by teachers' feedback on the programme. RESULTS: This study analysed data from 55 students and 20 teachers. It was found that the MENP improved students' knowledge of mood symptoms (p = .03), acceptance of people with psychosis (p = .04) and intended behaviour toward people with mental illness (p = .02). The feedback of the teachers on the programme was positive. CONCLUSIONS: The results support the application of the multifaceted approach to promote a positive mental health culture in schools. The findings call on the government to implement the programme in schools in Hong Kong by providing financial support to relevant organizations.

RESUMEN

Total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) is gaining in popularity, with the main objective to restore a pain-free mobile and stable ankle and is hoped to solve the long-term problems associated with ankle arthrodesis. Residual pain is not uncommon after TAA, and most is located at the medial gutter with bony impingement as the frequent cause. In this Technical Note, the technical details of arthroscopic decompression for medial ankle impingement after total ankle arthroplasty is described. It has the advantage of earlier weightbearing, faster recovery and less risk of periprosthetic infection.

RESUMEN

Two patients with Hoffa fracture of the knee, both suffering from poliomyelitis are reported. Both had unicondylar coronal plane fracture of the medial femoral condyle. The patients were treated with open reduction and screw fixation. Due to poor screw purchase, reoperation was necessary in one patient. The results were satisfactory in both patients.

Although basal muscle-invasive bladder cancers (MIBCs) are predominant, are more aggressive, and have bad prognoses, molecular mechanisms underlying how basal MIBC formation/progression have been barely explored. In the present study, SNHG1, a long non-coding RNA, was shown to be expressed at higher levels in basal MIBC cells than in other types of bladder BC cells, and its presence could promote basal MIBC cell invasion. The results revealed that SNHG1 specifically induced MMP2 expression via increasing its transcription and mRNA stability. In one mechanism, SNHG1 directly bound with PP2A catalytic subunit (PP2A-c) to inhibit interactions of PP2A-c with c-Jun and then promoted c-Jun phosphorylation that, in turn, mediated MMP2 transcription. In another mechanism, SNHG1 markedly induced autophagy in the cells via induction of increases in the abundance of autophagy-related proteins. The latter initiated autophagy and further abolished miR-34a stability, which reduced overall miR-34a binding directly to the 3' UTR of MMP2 mRNA, thereby promoting MMP2 mRNA stabilization. These results provided novel insight into understanding the specific functions of SNHG1 in basal MIBC. Such findings may ultimately prove highly significant for the design/synthesis of new SNHG1-based compounds for the treatment of basal MIBC patients.

IMPORTANCE: 131I-metaiodobenzylguanidine (131I-mIBG) has a significant targeted antitumor effect for neuroblastoma. However, currently there is a paucity of data for the use of 131I-mIBG as a "front-line" therapeutic agent in those patients with newly diagnosed high-risk neuroblastoma as part of the conditioning regimen for myeloablative chemotherapy (MAC). OBJECTIVE: To evaluate the feasibility of upfront consolidation treatment with 131I-mIBG plus MAC and hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in high-risk neuroblastoma patients. METHODS: A retrospective, single-center study was conducted from 2003-2019 on newly diagnosed high-risk neuroblastoma patients without progressive disease (PD) after the completion of induction therapy. They received 131I-mIBG infusion and MAC followed by HSCT. RESULTS: A total of 24 high-risk neuroblastoma patients were enrolled with a median age of 3.0 years at diagnosis. After receiving this sequential consolidation treatment, 3 of 13 patients who were in partial response (PR) before 131I-mIBG treatment achieved either complete response (CR) (n = 1) or very good partial response (VGPR) (n = 2) after HSCT. With a median follow-up duration of 13.0 months after 131I-mIBG therapy, the 5-year event-free survival and overall survival rates estimated were 29% and 38% for the entire cohort, and 53% and 67% for the patients who were in CR/VGPR at the time of 131I-mIBG treatment. INTERPRETATION: Upfront consolidation treatment with 131I-mIBG plus MAC and HSCT is feasible and tolerable in high-risk neuroblastoma patients, however the survival benefit of this 131I-mIBG regimen is only observed in the patients who were in CR/VGPR at the time of 131I-mIBG treatment.

INTRODUCTION: Studies have found that increased mobile phone use (MPU) is associated with multiple health issues such as depression, disordered sleep and pain. However, the current situation and interrelationships of these problems remain unexplored in the Hong Kong population. OBJECTIVES: This study aimed to understand the situation and problematic use of mobile phones by Hong Kong secondary school students and to investigate depressive symptoms, bodily pain and daytime sleepiness and the associations of these factors with MPU in Hong Kong secondary school students. METHODS: This quantitative cross-sectional design study was based on self-administered questionnaires completed at five secondary schools. The questionnaire comprised five sections: MPU as measured by the Chinese version of the 10-Item Mobile Phone Problem Use Scale (CMPPUS-10); depressive symptoms according to the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-21 Chinese Version (DASS-21); bodily pain according to the Brief Pain Inventory Short Form Chinese (BPISF-C); daytime sleepiness as measured using the Chinese version of the Epworth Sleepiness Scale (CESS) and socio-demographic questions. RESULTS: A total of 686 students were recruited. The CMPPUS-10 score correlated positively with the average daily duration of MPU and the presence of depression, daytime sleepiness and bodily pain. Problematic mobile phone users received significantly higher scores for depression severity, bodily pain and daytime sleepiness. Health problems were significantly more severe in female than in male students. Bodily pain and daytime sleepiness mediated the relationship of MPU with depression. CONCLUSIONS: Problematic MPU was associated with depression, bodily pain and daytime sleepiness. These findings will inform further studies of MPU-related health problems.

Glioblastoma is the most common and aggressive malignant brain tumor in adults. The existence of glioblastoma stem cells (GSCs) or stem-like cells (stemloids) may account for its invasiveness and high recurrence. Rac proteins belong to the Rho small GTPase subfamily which regulates cell movement, proliferation, and survival. To investigate whether Rac proteins can serve as therapeutic targets for glioblastoma, especially for GSCs or stemloids, we examined the potential roles of Rac1, Rac2 and Rac3 on the properties of tumorspheres derived from glioblastoma cell lines. Tumorspheres are thought to be glioblastoma stem-like cells. We showed that Rac proteins promote the STAT3 and ERK activation and enhance cell proliferation and colony formation of glioblastoma stem-like cells. Knockdown of Rac proteins reduces the expression of GSC markers, such as CD133 and Sox2. The in vivo effects of Rac proteins in glioblastoma were further studied in zebrafish and in the mouse xenotransplantation model. Knocking-down Rac proteins abolished the angiogenesis effect induced by the injected tumorspheres in zebrafish model. In the CD133+-U373-tumorsphere xenotransplanted mouse model, suppression of Rac proteins decreased the incidence of tumor formation and inhibited the tumor growth. Moreover, knockdown of Rac proteins reduced the sphere forming efficiency of cells derived from these tumors. In conclusion, not only Rac1 but also Rac2 and 3 are important for glioblastoma tumorigenesis and can serve as the potential therapeutic targets against glioblastoma and its stem-like cells.
