RESUMEN

In this paper, a single-loop tunable parity-time (PT) symmetric optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) based on a dual-mode optical phase modulator (PM) and a microwave photonic filter (MPF) has been proposed, analyzed, and designed. By adjusting the polarization angle θ between the input linearly polarized light and the z axis of the PM, the two-mode splitting ratio of the PM can be controlled, which results in a PT-symmetric structure based on a single physical loop. By adjusting the pump light wavelength, the center frequency of the stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS)-based MPF can be tuned, which enables a fine tunable output frequency. The results reveal that, by adjusting the pump light wavelength with a step size of 0.0001 nm, a frequency tuning accuracy of 12.5 MHz can be obtained. Simultaneously, the OEO output frequency can be tuned from 0.9 to 22 GHz, while the side-mode suppress ratio (SMSR) is 53 dB, and the phase noise is -133.8d B c/H z at a frequency offset of 10 kHz.

In order to conveniently measure the power frequency intensive electric field in any direction in space, a lithium niobate (LN) crystal-based three dimensional (3D) intensive electric field sensor with an all-dielectric structure has been developed. A regular triangular prism structure with three 1D (one-dimensional) electric field sensors fixed on its three sides is designed and fabricated. By setting the orientation of the z-axes of the three 1D electric field sensors at 54.7° with respect to the three edges of the prism, the detection directions of the three 1D electric field sensors are perpendicular to each other. Compared to existing 3D electric field sensors that directly arrange three 1D electric field sensors along three mutually perpendicular directions, the overall device volume of the newly designed 3D sensor is significantly reduced. Experimental results reveal that the linear measurement ranges of the 3D electric field sensor along the three axes are 3.71 kV/m-388 kV/m, 2.78 kV/m-403 kV/m, and 4.50 kV/m-375 kV/m, respectively. When the electric field strength is 82.05 kV/m, the measurement error is less than 4.97% when the 3D electric field sensor is rotated 360° in the y o z and x o y planes.

The last 18 months, or more, have seen a profound shift in our global experience, with many of us navigating a once-in-100-year pandemic. To date, COVID-19 remains a life-threatening pandemic with little to no targeted therapeutic recourse. The discovery of novel antiviral agents, such as vaccines and drugs, can provide therapeutic solutions to save human beings from severe infections; however, there is no specifically effective antiviral treatment confirmed for now. Thus, great attention has been paid to the use of natural or artificial antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) as these compounds are widely regarded as promising solutions for the treatment of harmful microorganisms. Given the biological significance of AMPs, it was obvious that there was a significant need for a single platform for identifying and engaging with AMP data. This led to the creation of the dbAMP platform that provides comprehensive information about AMPs and facilitates their investigation and analysis. To date, the dbAMP has accumulated 26 447 AMPs and 2262 antimicrobial proteins from 3044 organisms using both database integration and manual curation of >4579 articles. In addition, dbAMP facilitates the evaluation of AMP structures using I-TASSER for automated protein structure prediction and structure-based functional annotation, providing predictive structure information for clinical drug development. Next-generation sequencing (NGS) and third-generation sequencing have been applied to generate large-scale sequencing reads from various environments, enabling greatly improved analysis of genome structure. In this update, we launch an efficient online tool that can effectively identify AMPs from genome/metagenome and proteome data of all species in a short period. In conclusion, these improvements promote the dbAMP as one of the most abundant and comprehensively annotated resources for AMPs. The updated dbAMP is now freely accessible at http://awi.cuhk.edu.cn/dbAMP.

Protein post-translational modifications (PTMs) play an important role in different cellular processes. In view of the importance of PTMs in cellular functions and the massive data accumulated by the rapid development of mass spectrometry (MS)-based proteomics, this paper presents an update of dbPTM with over 2 777 000 PTM substrate sites obtained from existing databases and manual curation of literature, of which more than 2 235 000 entries are experimentally verified. This update has manually curated over 42 new modification types that were not included in the previous version. Due to the increasing number of studies on the mechanism of PTMs in the past few years, a great deal of upstream regulatory proteins of PTM substrate sites have been revealed. The updated dbPTM thus collates regulatory information from databases and literature, and merges them into a protein-protein interaction network. To enhance the understanding of the association between PTMs and molecular functions/cellular processes, the functional annotations of PTMs are curated and integrated into the database. In addition, the existing PTM-related resources, including annotation databases and prediction tools are also renewed. Overall, in this update, we would like to provide users with the most abundant data and comprehensive annotations on PTMs of proteins. The updated dbPTM is now freely accessible at https://awi.cuhk.edu.cn/dbPTM/.

Recently, convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have been widely used in image denoising, and their performance has been enhanced through residual learning. However, previous research mostly focused on optimizing the network architecture of CNNs, ignoring the limitations of the commonly used residual learning. This paper identifies two of its limitations, which are the neglect of image information and the lack of effective consideration of image self-similarity. To solve these limitations, this paper proposes a compositional denoising network (CDN), which contains two sub-paths, the image information path (IIP) and the noise estimation path (NEP), respectively. IIP is trained via an image-to-image method to extract image information. For NEP, it utilizes image self-similarity from the perspective of training. This similarity-based training method constrains NEP to output similar estimated noise distributions for different image patches with a specific kind of noise. Finally, image information and noise distribution information are comprehensively considered for image denoising. Experimental results indicate that CDN outperforms other CNN-based methods in both synthetic and real-world image denoising, achieving state-of-the-art performance.

BACKGROUND: Vegetarian diets and aerobic exercise are increasingly accepted as a common way to improve lifestyle. Several studies have shown that vegetarian diets combined with aerobic exercise interventions have a significant effect on preventing and reducing the risk of metabolic diseases. METHODS: A search of the PubMed, EBSCO, Embase, CENTRAL, and Web of Science databases was conducted for comparative studies of pre- and post-vegetarian diet adoption combined with aerobic exercise interventions on glycemic control and body composition. Qualitative reviews and meta-analyses of fixed and random effects were conducted to pool available data. The results were validated by sensitivity analysis. RESULTS: A total of 27 studies were selected for meta-analysis. Combining the studies included in the meta-analysis showed a mean difference for homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance of - 0.75 (- 1.08 to - 0.42), fasting plasma glucose of - 0.27(- 0.30 to - 0.23), waist circumference of - 1.10 (- 5.06 to 2.86) and body mass index of - 0.70 (- 1.38 to - 0.01). CONCLUSION: In summary, our findings suggest that participants who adopted a vegetarian diet combined with aerobic exercise intervention had significantly lower fasting plasma glucose and insulin levels and improved body composition compared to preintervention participants. The ongoing COVID19 pandemic is having detrimental effects on the mental and emotional well-being of many adults and children. It is relevant therefore to explore the combination of personal strengths and attributes that can help an individual develop resilience to such stress. Little is known about how psychological strength assets such as social connectedness, grit, hope, life meaning, and life satisfaction are inter-related, and if certain factors play a central role. This study involved a sample of 1,405 school-aged children in Hong Kong (50% female) from seven schools that participated in an online survey of psychological strengths. Data were analyzed by constructing a psychological network that found strength factors are inter-connected, and that 'school connectedness' and 'agency thinking' are central to the network. The information gained can be of value in any schools that are planning to provide strength-based interventions to help students maintain their psychological well-being during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Memory is a dynamic process that is based on and can be altered by experiences. Integrating memories of multiple experiences (memory integration) is the basis of flexible and complex decision-making. However, the mechanism of memory integration in neural networks of the brain remains poorly understood. In this study, we built a recurrent spiking network model and investigated the neural mechanism of memory integration before a decision is made (retrospective memory integration) at the neural circuit level. Our simulations suggest that retrospective memory integration accompanies reconfiguration of neural cell assemblies. Additionally, partially blocking neural network plasticity leads to failure of memory integration. These findings can potentially guide the experimental investigation of the neural mechanism of retrospective memory integration and serve as the basis for developing new artificial intelligence algorithms.

The three-dimensional (3D) simulation model of a lithium niobate (LiNbO3, LN) optical waveguide (OWG) electric field sensor has been established by using the full-wave electromagnetic simulation software. The influences of the LN substrate and the packaging material on the resonance frequency of the integrated OWG electric field sensor have been simulated and analyzed. The simulation results show that the thickness of the LN substrate has a great influence on the resonant frequency of the sensor (≈33.4%). A sensor with a substrate thickness of 1 mm has been designed, fabricated, and experimentally investigated. Experimental results indicate that the measured resonance frequency is 7.5 GHz, which nearly coincides with the simulation results. Moreover, the sensor can be used for the measurement of the nanosecond electromagnetic impulse (NEMP) in the time domain from 1.29 kV/m to 100.97 kV/m.

In this paper, a Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) stress sensor is developed to measure the stress variation between the lower Excavation Damaged Zone (EDZ) and the upper undistributed rock. The disturbance brought by the environmental temperature can be differentially compensated with two FBGs mounted symmetrically on the spokes. Through finite element analysis, it can be known that the direct stress and shear stress are pointed at the angles of 45° and 60° on both sides of the coal mine roadway, respectively. The anchor ends of the sensors are installed into the upper undistributed rock and the bolt tails of the mine roadway with a depth of 700 m and fastened by nuts to secure the load sensing device on the surface of the rock. When the shallow foundation of surrounding rock is pressed and deformed toward the coal mining road, the structural modifications can be converted into the stress of rock bolt and the strain of spoke. Thus, the FBG mounted on the surface of the spoke receives the shift information of the Bragg wavelength. The monitoring results indicate that the FBG stress sensors are sensitive to the variation of the EDZ. During the blasting, the stress amplitude varies from 40.256 to 175.058 kPa, and the creep time changes from 21 to 74 min. The proposed method can be applied in the field of underground coal mines for safety condition monitoring of the EDZ and forecasting the coal mine roadway stability.

We evaluated the effects of hesperidin on the nonspecific immunity, antioxidant capacity and growth performance of red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clarkii). A total of 900 healthy crayfish were randomly divided into six groups: the control group (fed the basal diet) and the HES25, HES50, HES75, HES100 and HES150 groups, which were fed the basal diet supplemented with 25, 50, 75, 100 and 150 mg kg-1 hesperidin, respectively. The feeding experiment lasted 8 weeks. The results indicated that compared with the control group, the crayfish groups supplemented with 50-150 mg kg-1 hesperidin had a decreased feed conversion ratio (FCR) and increased final body weight (FBW), specific growth rate (SGR) and weight gain (WG) (P < 0.05). The protein carbonyl content (PCC), reactive oxygen species (ROS) level and malondialdehyde (MDA) level in the hepatopancreas and hemocytes were significantly lower, while the total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC), glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activity, and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity were significantly higher in the crayfish groups supplemented with 50-150 mg kg-1 hesperidin than in the control group. Supplementation with 50-150 mg kg-1 hesperidin significantly increased the activities of acid phosphatase (ACP), alkaline phosphatase (AKP), lysozyme (LZM), and phenoloxidase (PO) compared with the control group (P < 0.05); upregulated the mRNA expression of cyclophilin A (CypA), extracellular copper-zinc superoxide dismutase (ecCuZnSOD), GPxs, crustin, astacidin, Toll3 and heat shock protein 70 (HSP70) (P < 0.05); and decreased crayfish mortality following white spot syndrome virus (WSSV) infection. These findings indicate that dietary hesperidin supplementation at an optimum dose of 50-150 mg kg-1 may effectively improve nonspecific immunity, antioxidant capacity and growth performance in crayfish.

Polysaccharides have many functions in aquatic animals and are widely used as immunopotentiators. However, despite the emergence of serious diseases, few studies have explored the effects of Codonopsis pilosula polysaccharide (CPP) on crustaceans. We studied the effects of CPP on the growth performance, nonspecific immunity, antioxidant activity and disease resistance of red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clarkii). Healthy crayfish (5.80 ± 0.1 g) were fed diets supplemented with 0% (control), 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.15%, 0.20%, and 0.30% CPP for 8 weeks. At the end of the 8-week feeding trial, the optimal final body weight (FBW), weight gain (WG), specific growth rate (SGR), and feed conversion ratio (FCR) were observed in the crayfish fed the diets with 0.15% and 0.20% CPP, followed by those fed the diet with 0.30% CPP and then those fed the diet with 0.10% CPP, whereas the values of these parameters were obtained with the control crayfish (P < 0.05). The crayfish fed the diets with 0.15% and 0.20% CPP exhibited a significantly higher total hemocyte count (THC) and significantly increased phenoloxidase (PO), lysozyme (LZM), hemocyte (Hc), acid phosphatase (ACP) and alkaline phosphatase (AKP) compared with those belonging to the other groups (P < 0.05). The crayfish fed the diets with 0.15% and 0.2% CPP exhibited significantly higher total superoxide dismutase (T-SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activities, a significantly increased total antioxidant capacity (T-AOC) and a significantly lower malondialdehyde (MDA) content compared with the other groups (P < 0.05), which indicated that antioxidant capacity was significantly induced by the CPP-supplemented diets. Significantly upregulated expression of immune-related genes (anti-lipopolysaccharide factors (alf), peroxiredoxin (prx5), cathepsin B (ctsb), mitochondrial manganese superoxide dismutase (mtMnsod), cyclophilin A (cypa), glutathione peroxidase (gpx), Toll-like receptor 3 (tlr3), and heat shock protein 70 (hsp70)) was detected in the crayfish fed the diets supplemented with 0.15% and 0.20% CPP diet compared with the levels observed in the control crayfish. These results showed that dietary CPP supplementation greatly improved the growth, immunity and antioxidant capacities of crayfish, and according to the observed results, 0.15%-0.2% is the recommended optimal level of CPP dietary supplementation for crayfish.

PURPOSE: To investigate the relationship between microRNA (miR)-17-5p, miR-92a, and let-7b expression and resistance to the non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) targeted drug Gefitinib. METHODS: The human NSCLC cell line A549 and its drug resistant strain A549/GR (Gefitinib Resistant) was used in this study. The expression of miR-17-5p, miR-92a, and let-7b in different NSCLC cell lines was detected before and after transfection using real-time fluorescent PCR. Cell viability was detected using the CCK8 method. Cell cloning was performed to examine cell proliferation; cell apoptosis before and after transfection was evaluated using flow cytometry. RESULTS: miR-17-5p and miR-92a expression in A549/ GR cells was 3.23 ± 0.92 and 9.29 ± 3.13 fold higher than in A549 cells respectively (p<0.05). In addition, let-7b expression in A549/GR cells was 29.37 ± 9.32% fold higher than in A549 cells (p<0.05). A549 cell sensitivity to Gefitinib was significantly decreased after transfection with the miR-17-5p mimic, miR-92a mimic, or the let-7b inhibitor (p<0.05), whereas the sensitivity of A549/GR cells to Gefitinib was significantly increased after transfection with miR-17-5p inhibitor, miR-92a inhibitor, or the let-7b mimic (p<0.05). A549 transfected with miR-17-5p mimic, miR- 92a mimic, and/or let-7b inhibitor formed more colonies than non-transfected controls (p<0.05); A549/GR transfected with miR-17-5p inhibitor, miR-92a inhibitor and let-7b mimic formed fewer colonies than the control group (p<0.05). The apoptosis rate of A549 cells transfected with miR-17-5p mimic, miR-92a mimic, or let-7b inhibitor was significantly lower than that of the control group (p<0.05); the apoptosis rate of A549/GR cells transfected with miR- 17-5p inhibitor, miR-92a inhibitor, or let-7b mimic was significantly higher than that of the control group (p<0.05). CONCLUSIONS: Increased miR-17-5p and miR-92a expression and decreased let-7b expression can significantly induce proliferation and inhibit apoptosis of lung cancer cells, while reducing lung cancer cell sensitivity to Gefitinib.

Objective To observe the therapeutic efficacy and safety of Chinese herbal fumigation combined with leflunomide (LEF) and prednisone (Pred) in treatment of systemic sclerosis (SSc) complicated pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Methods Totally 99 SSc patients complicated early PAH were randomly assigned to the Western drugs group (WD, 49 cases) and the integrative medicine group (IM, 50 cases). Patients in the WD group took LEF (20 mg) and Pred (15 mg) , once per day. In addition to routine WD program, those in the IM group additionally received Chinese herbal fumigation. All treatment lasted for 6 months. Raynaud's phenomenon (RP) was observed in each group before and after treatment. RP score, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C reactive protein (CRP), pulmonary arterial systolic pressure (PASP) , and pulmonary function were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were evaluated. Results Thirteen cases were lost due to various reasons. A total of 86 patients completed this study, 41 in the WD group and 45 in the IM group. Compared with the same group before treatment, RP score, levels of ESR and CRP all decreased in the two groups after treatment (P <0. 05). Compared with the WM group after treatment, RP score, levels of ESR and CRP were obviously lowered in the IM group after treatment (P < 0. 05). Besides, lowered differences between post-pre-values of ESR, CRP, and PASP were more obviously higher, while elevated differences between post-pre-values of total lung capacity (TLC) and carbon monoxide diffusing capacity (DLCO) were more obviously higher in the IM group (P <0. 05). The total effective rate was 93. 33% (42/45) in the IM group, obviously higher than that in the WD group [70. 73% (29/41) , P <0. 05 ]. There was no statistical difference in total adverse reaction rate between the two groups (x² =0. 019, P =0. 891). Conclusion Chinese herbal fumigation combined with WD had obvious efficacy with less adverse reactions, so it was worth clinical spread.

Aberrant activation of oncoproteins such as members of the Ras family is common in human lung cancers. The proper function of Ras largely depends on a post-translational modification termed prenylation. Bisphosphonates have been shown to inhibit prenylation in cancer cells. In this study, we show that zoledronic acid, a third generation bisphosphonate, is effective in targeting lung cancer cells. This is achieved by the induction of apoptosis and inhibition of proliferation, through suppressing the activation of downstream Ras and EGFR signalling by zoledronic acid. The combination of zoledronic acid and paclitaxel or cisplatin (commonly used chemotherapeutic drugs for lung cancer) augmented the activity of either drug alone in in vitro lung cancer cellular system and in vivo lung xenograft mouse model. Importantly, zoledronic acid inhibits protein prenylation as shown by the increased levels of unprenylated Ras and Rap1A. In addition, the effects of zoledronic acid were reversed in the presence of geranylgeraniol and farnesol, further confirming that mechanism of zoledroinc acid's action in lung cancer cells is through prenylation inhibition. Since zoledronic acid is already available for clinic use, these results suggest that it may be an effective addition to the armamentarium of drugs for the treatment of lung cancer.

BACKGROUND: This multicenter study was performed to evaluate the efficiency of a multiplex individual-donation nucleic acid amplification technology (ID-NAT) and discriminatory testing algorithm for detecting hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection in Chinese blood donors. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: A total of 1,205,796 hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg)-nonreactive donations from 10 blood centers were tested by ID-NAT using the Ultrio assay. Multiplex Ultrio-reactive donations were tested in the discriminatory tests as well as in quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) and in supplemental electrochemiluminescence immunoassays for HBsAg, hepatitis B surface antibody (anti-HBs), hepatitis B e antigen, and antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc). Meanwhile, a control group of 4317 Ultrio-nonreactive donations was tested for anti-HBc and anti-HBs. RESULTS: Of all donations, 2033 (0.17%) were reactive in the multiplex Ultrio assay. Among 1776 further tested samples, 548 (30.9%) were HBV discriminatory assay (dHBV)-reactive, while 1214 (68.4%) were nonreactive. Of 472 Ultrio+ and dHBV+ samples 86.2% were qPCR positive compared to 15.0% in 1046 Ultrio+ and dHBV- samples. The proportion of anti-HBc+ and anti-HBs- (potentially infectious) donations was higher in 409 Ultrio+ and dHBV+ than in 1028 Ultrio+ and dHBV- samples (51.3% vs. 31.1%, p < 0.001). The yield rate of Ultrio+, dHBV+, and qPCR+ donations was estimated at 1 in 2500, but at 1 in 1100 when all supplemental tests were taken into account assuming that 44% of detected donations by Ultrio were false reactive. CONCLUSIONS: A quarter of HBsAg-negative Ultrio+ and dHBV- donations in China are likely given by potentially infectious low-viral-load occult carriers. Although this has no implication for blood safety, the testing algorithm needs to be redesigned to more efficiently discriminate between true and false NAT reactivity.

BACKGROUND: The coexistence of emphysema and pulmonary fibrosis is known as combined pulmonary fibrosis and emphysema (CPFE). The aim of this study was to compare diaphragmatic motion measured by M-mode ultrasonography of patients with CPFE, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). METHODS: Pulmonary function, high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT), and diaphragmatic motion were examined in patients with CPFE (n = 25), IPF (n = 18), and COPD (n = 60), and in healthy controls (n = 21). Diaphragmatic motions were measured on M-mode ultrasonographic images during quiet breathing and deep breathing. RESULTS: There were no significant differences in right or left diaphragmatic motion during quiet breathing among the four groups, whereas differences were significant in right and left motion during deep breathing. Diaphragmatic motion in CPFE patients was the lowest among the four groups. COPD patients, especially those with severe COPD, showed significantly lower diaphragmatic motion than IPF patients or healthy controls. There were no differences in diaphragmatic motion between IPF patients and healthy controls. Right diaphragmatic motions during deep breathing were negatively correlated with emphysema scores (r = -0.606, p < 0.001), but were not correlated with fibrosis scores on HRCT. CONCLUSIONS: Diaphragmatic weakness was found in CPFE patients. Emphysema but not fibrosis may be one cause of limited diaphragmatic motion in patients with CPFE. M-mode ultrasonographic evaluation of diaphragmatic motion during deep breathing may be a useful tool in diagnosing CPFE and in discriminating CPFE patients from IPF or COPD patients.

The main objectives of this study were to explore the relationship between career personality styles and career adaptability and the role of thinking styles in such relationship. Eight hundred and eleven Chinese students, who were trained as pre-service kindergarten teachers, responded to the Career Personality Styles Inventory, the shortened Thinking Styles Inventory-Revised, and the Career Adapt-Ability Scale - Short Form. Results suggested that the career personality styles (i.e. social, enterprising) that fit the vocational environment of kindergarten teaching the most positively predicted the students' career adaptability, both directly and indirectly through creativity-generating thinking styles. Moreover, the artistic and investigative career personality styles indirectly predicted students' career adaptability through creativity-generating thinking styles, while the conventional and realistic career personality styles showed no significant effect on the students' career adaptability. The findings imply that beyond the notion of person-environment congruence, some career personality styles can consistently predict career adaptability through thinking styles. Implications for career counseling and education practice are discussed.

To investigate the effects of rapeseed oil on body composition, blood glucose and lipid metabolism in people with overweight and obesity compared to other cooking oils. We searched eight databases for randomized controlled studies (including randomized crossover trials). The risk of bias for the included studies was assessed using the Cochrane Risk of Bias 2.0 tool. The Grading of Recommendations Assessment Development and Evaluation (GRADE) criteria were used to evaluate the quality of the outcomes. The methodological quality of the included studies was assessed using the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro) scale. Sensitivity analysis was used to check the stability of the pooled results. Statistical analysis was carried out using Review Manager 5.3 software. As a result, fifteen randomized controlled studies (including six parallel studies and nine crossover studies) were included in this study. Compared to other edible oils, rapeseed oil significantly reduced low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (MD = -0.14 mmol/L, 95% CI: -0.21, -0.08, I2 = 0%, P < 0.0001), apolipoprotein B (ApoB) (MD = -0.03 g/L, 95% CI: -0.05, -0.01, I2 = 0%, P = 0.0003), ApoB/ApoA1 (MD = -0.02, 95% CI: -0.04, -0.00, I2 = 0%, P = 0.02) and insulin (MD = -12.45 pmol/L, 95% CI: -19.61, -5.29, I2 = 37%, P = 0.0007) levels, and increased fasting glucose (MD = 0.16 mmol/L, 95% CI: 0.05, 0.27, I2 = 27%, P = 0.003) levels. However, the differences in body weight and body composition between rapeseed oil and control oils were not significant. In a word, rapeseed oil is effective in reducing LDL-C, ApoB and ApoB/ApoA1 levels in people with overweight and obesity, which is helpful in preventing and reducing the risk of atherosclerosis.
